Dizzy from the own coolness.
Zavirdyaev took another deep breath and chuckled carelessly.
- How did the development of humanity turn out, - he began to reflect. - Now everything that happens, happens with a certain calculation. In the War, all the running around is controlled by computers from headquarters - if someone rushed somewhere, then he rushed with some purpose - to the rescue of someone who got into an ambush, or, on the contrary, to pull his ass out of a possible encirclement. Maybe in order to shoot down an enemy vehicle that had recklessly climbed out.
- On a person of the past, such an army as an enemy would have made a very depressing impression even without any excess firepower. A person of the past would have gotten the impression that these are zombies controlled by a single mind, to whom nothing needs to be explained, and they themselves run where they need to. Like birds, skillfully turning the whole flock at once. Only our zombies don't die in droves and they aren't zombies, - Zavirdyaev summed up to himself and then carried away into his thoughts, like a drunk carries away into a conversation.
- Progress has also affected people, man as such. It may be immoral to attribute anything to the War, but the years of the War, and even the Pre-War, changed people not for the worse - the carefree blockheads of the last century now looked like something completely alien, a fiction from some condemning propaganda. But they, these past generations, were largely responsible for the military confrontation - it all began when the demand for all sorts of junk began to pump China with technology, not so much with orders. Before that, the West had a confrontation with the first Soviet Union, but it was conducted according to the rules of a knight's duel, no more and no less.
This thought about a knight's duel was not Zavirdyaev's thought - these were someone's words. Perhaps words from the TV screen. Nevertheless, all other thoughts made Zavirdyaev feel as if he had said something similar to someone before, although where and when? He looked around the cabin of the ship that surpassed everything and everyone, now his ship, and continued his thoughts.
- The Soviet Union did not increase its power by receiving rivers of money for the fact that the Western man in the street would have been swimming in junk, but with Asia at that time, things began to develop exactly like that - it was pumped up at the expense of the needs of the Western man in the street. And the ruling circles of that time, for some reason, took these needs into account too much. So they came to what they came to.
- Well, and finally, today's politics - here there is some parallel with how modern troops are managed - namely, nothing is done for no reason. No spontaneity.
- And also the economy... There used to be a slogan "factories to the workers". This was not a purely Russian invention. For quite understandable reasons, the West then carefully painted over this line of its history.
Factories to workers... So what good is that? Management, administration... Now, as then, national governments one after another inevitably come to political bankruptcy. They drag national economies with them, or rather, non-military sectors, and those are left with scars that do not heal easily.
The situation can only be corrected by a full-fledged conversion of the global Military Process, but it cannot be carried out in accordance with some directive, even as a result of bilateral secret agreements it will not happen. Everything is much more complicated.
Quasi-revolutionary transformations in national states are only one component of the mechanism that will finally push humanity, which has stalled in the War, onto the path of Conversion.
Will workers be able to independently administer an industry of monstrous complexity? Of course not. And who can? Well, of course, there is AEX, for those who are not satisfied with AEX, there is also GBA. It's so simple! Yes, to come under the jurisdiction of the constellations, someone will have to shoot a little, but how can we do without it now? And the shuttle flying in orbit will coordinate everything. It will be monumental. Can one person, even one who has created his own political movement, do this in the conditions of the modern world? No. And there cannot be such a person himself. It's like with the shuttle - once upon a time in past centuries, the owner of a mechanical workshop could immerse himself in the science of that time and create, invent a previously unknown diesel engine or steam engine. But now, in order to build something previously unseen, that is, this shuttle, it took the combined efforts of AEX and GBA. It's all about the complexity of these comprehensive technologies. Now you can't create anything in a workshop. And you can't create your own political movement on your own passion alone.
And if we talk purely about technology, then next to each of these constellations, the entire industry of the beginning of the last century is a homeless person from a garbage dump. And now, only they, these giants, with their joint efforts brought the engine of this shuttle to mind. Is there a place in the modern world for a self-taught person, if not in technology, then in politics? No! This is the future that is coming!
Therefore, there is nothing derogatory in the fact that the leader of the new revolution, Zavirdyaev, is now flying in a ship, like a monkey in a rocket, not really delving into what is happening. The power of thousands of minds and millions of working hands is behind him. He does not need to think with his own mind - thousands have thought and thought of everything for him.
Today, the political process is controlled and calculated no worse than an air battle. And someday ... Someday everything will calm down, and on such shuttles it will be possible ... it will be possible to buy a ticket and fly to the Moon. And if humanity had continued to scurry about in the same darkness of political and social elements, it would have remained within the Earth and died out. Zavirdyaev is not a politician - Zavirdyaev assists scientists who will lead humanity, well, its western part, into the future. It's as if he were a contractor in the construction of the first reactor or a mechanic who made parts for the first rockets in the twentieth century. It seems that his involvement is obvious, but his role is modest. The fact that he will be put on the podium and given speeches is a secondary matter. But secondary for them. And for him... He will be cooler than any rock star. And the cause is necessary.
