"Then we must act first. The neighborhoods we haven't conquered yet should have plenty of beauties, right?" Tang Ze chuckled lewdly. Right now, I am such a shameless lecher; ordinary women are beneath my notice—even if they throw themselves at me, I wouldn't give them a second glance.
The suffering endured just to grind for experience points is something I never want to go through again. After all, grinding merely for the sake of it was unbearably tedious, reducing me to nothing more than a mindless animal.
"There will definitely be more beauties there than in our current neighborhood," Sun Ting said, her heart now filled with unease. If new people joined, would it affect her position? She glanced over at Xiao Bai, who was casually handling firearms without an ounce of guile, and then at Ye Qingyi, who still harbored fantasies of breaking away from the group.
The three of us were united in some ways, yet disunited in others—a precarious balance that troubled Sun Ting deeply. If the Shanhu neighborhood indeed had several beautiful women, they would likely form their own faction once they joined. And if our trio remained divided as we were now... The mere thought sent chills down Sun Ting's spine.
Xiao Bai, however, was obedient. Later, she decided, she'd have a serious talk with Ye Qingyi. No matter what happened, they needed to stay united. Any new women who joined would need to know their place—underfoot.
Ye Qingyi, driving the car, wasn't stupid either. Both women had reached the same conclusion: no matter what kind of women joined in the future, they would need to undergo rigorous "training" before becoming part of the team.
And this so-called training? Ye Qingyi had already experienced it once. Four words described it perfectly: worse than death.
Little did Tang Ze realize that his little nest was already beginning to develop distinct social strata.
But Tang Ze didn't care about any of that. Competition drives progress. A group of mindless women was no better than machines. As he always said, his standards would only continue to rise. He wouldn't tolerate slackers.
"Change cars," Tang Ze suddenly declared.
Ye Qingyi nodded while driving. In fact, she'd been thinking the same thing. Driving a modified car into another neighborhood felt inappropriate.
"And change those lace accessories you're wearing inside. Otherwise, people might mistake me for some kind of pervert."
The three women burst out laughing simultaneously.
"Tsk, what's so funny? Don't make me punish you," Tang Ze rolled his eyes. If I'm a pervert, then you're even worse.
A rather risqué scene unfolded in the car as the women changed clothes, with Tang Ze teasing them occasionally. Life, at this moment, was decadently enjoyable.
They parked the car in an alley not far from the neighborhood and found a stripped-down BYD to take instead.
"Xiao Bai, once we get inside, you'll be my girlfriend."
"Really? That's wonderful!" An Bai exclaimed happily.
Sun Ting pouted slightly. "Master, next time, let me be your girlfriend, okay?"
"Sure, we'll take turns," Tang Ze shrugged nonchalantly. Now everyone was eager to be his girlfriend. Where was this enthusiasm when he used to deliver food?
Suddenly, Tang Ze placed his hand on Ye Qingyi's head, gently ruffling her hair. "Little Qingyi, how about we make a bet?"
"A bet?" Ye Qingyi asked, puzzled.
"I know you have a niece trapped in a school. If you win, we'll go rescue her."
Ye Qingyi's eyes lit up with hope, and she nodded eagerly.
"Don't nod so quickly. You know the consequences of being saved by me," Tang Ze warned.
Hearing this, Ye Qingyi bit her lip, her once rosy lips gradually losing their color. After a moment, she replied softly, "I know."
"And don't get too excited. If I win, I'll kill your fiancé's entire family. Are you willing to take that risk?"
An Bai and Sun Ting, sitting in the back, were stunned. This was forcing Ye Qingyi to choose. Clearly, Tang Ze still hadn't fully trusted her.
"I won't lose!" Ye Qingyi gripped the steering wheel tightly, her voice resolute.
"Good. I admire that fighting spirit," Tang Ze patted Ye Qingyi's shoulder. A woman with courage was far superior to those who only knew how to beg.
"So, what's the bet?"
Tang Ze hadn't fully decided yet. He turned to An Bai and Sun Ting. "What do you think we should bet on?"
Sun Ting and An Bai were shocked. Wasn't he worried they'd side with Ye Qingyi?
Ye Qingyi glanced back at them pleadingly.
Sun Ting thought to herself, choosing a bet favorable to Tang Ze might drive Ye Qingyi away. Moreover, with the unknown beauties in the Shanhu neighborhood, retaliation was almost certain.
Perhaps it was better to do her a favor, even if it meant facing Tang Ze's wrath later.
"How about using CEO Xi as the bet?" Xiao Bai suddenly suggested.
Sun Ting and Ye Qingyi's hearts skipped a beat. Using a woman as a bet? That was Tang Ze's specialty. No woman could escape his grasp.
"My Xiao Bai is so clever and considerate," Tang Ze reached out and pinched An Bai's cheek affectionately. An Bai playfully nuzzled against his palm like a big plush toy.
An Bai continued, "You can bet on whether CEO Xi will run away in the end. Master, you can't threaten her."
"Haha, interesting," Tang Ze's interest was piqued. He then looked at Ye Qingyi. "Ladies first."
Ye Qingyi clenched her fists tightly, her heart racing, her breathing quickening, her thoughts in turmoil.
"She won't run!" Ye Qingyi declared firmly. CEO Xi wasn't foolish. She'd surely realize the benefits of staying close to Tang Ze.
But Ye Qingyi seemed to have forgotten one crucial detail: An Bai had explicitly forbidden threats.
"Then I'll bet she runs. You two are witnesses," Tang Ze said confidently.
Sun Ting and An Bai nodded.
"Of course, you two can offer her some assistance this time. I don't want anyone accusing me of bullying."
Ye Qingyi secretly rejoiced. Though she'd only met Xi Meng once, they were at least acquainted.
"Hey, hey, hey, you can't threaten her with guns," Tang Ze reminded them. Don't break the rules, or else there'll be consequences.
The three women naturally wouldn't cheat. They knew Tang Ze detested dishonesty.
An Bai suddenly giggled. "Master, I'm really curious how you'll win over this real estate queen. No threats, no bribes, no deals."
"You little rascal, you've blocked all my usual tactics."
An Bai stuck out her tongue mischievously. "Master, you're not bad at all. Tall, imposing, elegant, and charismatic—just standing there, CEO Xi will fall head over heels for you."
"Haha, you sure know how to flatter. Let's go, let's see who this CEO Xi really is," Tang Ze waved his hand dismissively.
But then he added, almost as an afterthought, "Before that, let's make things a bit more challenging for our dear CEO Xi."
With that, Tang Ze took out his subordinate's phone and sent a message.
"Boss Huo, bad news! Crazy Brother and the others have been killed!"
The three women watched as Tang Ze sent the message, their minds racing. This move accelerated the attack on the Shanhu neighborhood, leaving them with very little time.
Sun Ting and Ye Qingyi suddenly exchanged a glance, realizing something was amiss.
