Becky stopped walking, forcing me to stop also and turn back. "Why did you stop?" I asked.
She stared at me with surprise heavy in her eyes and voice as she asked again to be sure she heard what I said. "You did what?"
"Exactly what you heard Becky, I forgave her. She seemed remorseful, the least I could do was forgive her."
Becky rubbed her palms together and pressed them tight on her thighs. "Are you sure you weren't controlled? You know," She waved her fingers in the air. "That mind controlling shit."
I frowned. "What makes you think she can control me?" I asked.
"Well, she's far older than you and stronger if I must say. So it's only normal that she can control your mind."
"Too bad she did nothing of such. I am talking to you right now with a clear mind." I tried to assure her.
"But come to think of it princess- I mean Serena." She corrected herself when I glared at her. "Isn't it suspicious?" She asked.
