Chapter 1 - -27 October 2022- the birth of the galaxy

On a Venetian night, in one of the old houses, there was a girl named Anya.

Anya was just a girl who lived her life like any 19 year old who aspired to achieve what she wanted. What she wished for most was to live in a world away from the hustle and bustle of Venice, in a place where she could fly among the stars, far away from everything.

Anya had loved space science since she was young. She loved to research and discover what existed in space, and what she loved most was the galaxy. She used to search for galaxies a lot, especially our own galaxy, "the Milky Way." Anya felt comfortable watching those galaxies and searching for their secrets.

She used to stand in front of the window of her room every night, looking at the sky that reflected the moonlight and seeing distant celestial bodies with the telescope her older sister had given her. Near Anya's house, there was a large garden that she used to run to whenever she wanted to be alone. She did not mind sitting on the dirty grass, raising her head to see the sky, which comforted her and made her feel that the world was in a moment of silence.

As usual, that day, Anya went to the garden and expelled her negative energy by communicating with the sky, which shone with its stars and illuminated the road with its moon.

On her way home, Anya heard a sound that made her stop in the middle of the road, not paying attention to the passing cars. She turned around, searching for the source of the voice she heard until her eyes fell on that person standing confidently on the sidewalk. She did not know what she felt at that moment, but it was a feeling similar to seeing the sky with her own telescope. Anya kept looking at the person, swearing he was not ordinary. His eyes were shining even though it was night, his stance made her forget how people stood, and his shoulders were another story that made her feel like she was in a very safe place, even though he was six feet away from her.

Isn't this strange!? To feel all those things and emotions toward someone she saw for the first time? The strangest thing was that she was attracted to him without thinking. She did not try to see who was around her; she did not see them at all from the beginning because her star was bright enough to overshadow those around him.

After Anya regained consciousness and realized that she had gone too far in contemplating that standing star, she had to continue on her way home because it was already late. She ran, filled with the desire to stay, because how could she stop contemplating the one she had already fallen in love with?

When she got home, she rushed to her room, took Arthur and her pen from her drawer, and started telling him and writing passionately about the one who had destroyed her heart's settings.

Anya finished describing the bright star she saw and closed Arthur to go to her sister, Daniel, and tell her what had happened to her. By the way, Arthur is Anya's notebook that accompanies her at all times. She named him Arthur because she is the most random girl you can get to know.

She did not, and would not, stop talking about what stirred her feelings toward him. She was so happy that she started walking around the house behind Daniel, telling her all the details without waiting for her to sit down and talk.

"For a moment, I felt like I was in a dream because he was not real. I swear he is an unusual person! Why did he attract me? You know me very well; I am not the type who falls at first sight, Daniel," Anya said.

Her sister replied, "I don't know what to say to you, but I don't want to give you words of hope that will make you think that you have found the one you want. He is just a stranger that you have seen once in your life. It is impossible for you to fall in love with him at first sight. And don't forget the first person you thought you loved, but you were just infatuated with him. Love is not like infatuation at all."

Anya replied, "Why are you bringing up the subject of that person?! You and everyone know that he was my friend and nothing more. What love and admiration are you talking about now? He is not even my friend because I realized that there is no friendship between a girl and a boy. Everyone has gone their own way now, and I do not want you to talk about him anymore."

Anya was upset by her sister's words because she talked about the person who was Anya's friend in the past, and some problems had happened between them that made her distance herself from him completely. Although their relationship was nothing more than friendship, some people thought that they loved each other, and this was what upset Anya the most.

She went to her room because she felt that she needed to sleep, but she stayed awake all night thinking about the person she met and how he made her feel despite the distance between them. On the other hand, she thought it was impossible for her to meet him again because he was a stranger she had seen once in her life.

But the impossible had another opinion that Anya did not know about.

Elsewhere, the one who stole Anya's heart sat at his luxurious glass desk that allowed him to see anything passing through that dark sky. He was not the kind of man who would greet you with a warm smile or exchange long greetings. He had a cold and reserved personality, rarely showing his feelings or reacting impulsively.

The one who made Anya stop in the middle of the road to look at him was named Carter, CEO of the star and planetary observation company "Astronova." Despite his professional success and managing a company specializing in astronomy, his social life was very limited, as he was satisfied with having only one friend whom he completely trusted.

There was silence in the office until Carter broke it with his deep, rough voice:

"Won't you stop your childish actions, Robert?"

The other started laughing. "How did you know I was hiding under your desk? Nothing escapes your hawk-like eyes."

Carter: "You've grown too old to hide just to scare me. Come on, get up; we have work to finish."

Robert: "Ugh, this work will never end! I'm tired of it. When do you want to hire someone to help us?"

Carter: "You know that I can't trust anyone. I have to hire someone reliable and easy to deal with."

Robert: "You should hire someone as soon as possible because the new project needs someone else's ideas and help."

Carter: "You're right. But how should I find someone who is reliable and has a good work base?"

Robert: "I don't know. Maybe we should put up an ad saying we're looking for a personal assistant to help you."

Carter: "Okay, okay, I'll see. Just get to work; I won't let you go home until you finish what's left."

Robert: "As usual, I won't go home until the rooster starts crowing."

They both started their work quickly because Carter was very strict in his work and always wanted to be the first in everything.
