He unsheathed his sword and ran quickly towards the spider. His father, seeing this, could do nothing. He preferred to watch and didn't want to interfere. He would only interfere if necessary.
Hearing the sound of Hastora's running footsteps, the spider rose. It attacked using its legs. The dungeon shook, its ceiling collapsed, all caused by the impact of its legs.
Hastora ran towards the spider while avoiding the rocks falling from the dungeon ceiling. He increased his speed and jumped towards the spider.
Hastora used his aura. He jumped to the top of the spider. Hastora tried to stab its top, but it didn't work because the spider's exoskeleton was very hard.
The spider released a poisonous liquid that was shot into the sky. Seeing this, Hastora instinctively dodged and ran towards the bottom of the spider.
"Damn, this body is so weak," he said angrily.
He was starting to get tired, but he still forced himself to attack the spider back. His father, seeing him from afar, was impressed with him. "How can an eight-year-old child move so nimbly?" that's what his father thought at this time.
"Dark Swordmanship level one <𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻>"
Hastora attacked again with his swordmanship. But, all those attacks were in vain. The spider's exoskeleton wasn't even scratched.
"So hard," that's what he thought. All his attacks were useless. Hastora began to feel the strong energy from the monster. He stopped attacking and ran away. The spider was gathering a lot of energy to do its next attack.
The monster moved towards Hastora. It fired a red energy wave from its mouth. The energy wave was very strong, destroying everything it touched.
"Space time Swordmanship level one <𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵>"
The attack cut the space in front of him, the energy wave launched by the monster split in two. It created a large gap, because the monster's most vulnerable part was unprotected.
Hastora activated his aura and ran quickly towards the spider's head.
"Dark Swordmanship level two <𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲>
Hastora stabbed the monster's head. Its head didn't have an exoskeleton, which made its head very vulnerable to attacks. A dark storm was created from the thrust of the sword. The storm wreaked havoc on the boss room.
His father, seeing this, was amazed by his ability.
"Great, I think my wife has given birth to a second monster," he said, impressed.
The dark storm had stopped. Although faintly he saw the spider's head being destroyed by the attack earlier. He also saw Hastora standing while stabbing the spider on top of him. He seemed motionless, his father tried to approach Hastora to see his condition.
His father reached the place where they both fought, he saw Hastora standing still while holding his sword that was still stuck in the monster's head. Hastora seemed to faint while standing.
His father immediately carried him down and brought him back home.
"Ughhh... Where am I," said Hastora who had just woken up from his faint.
"Hastora!, you're awake," said his older sister while hugging him.
"Sister? Why am I here... Didn't I go inside the dungeon?".
"What dungeon, you idiot, you're in your room," Sera replied angrily.
"What? In the room? Since when?".
"You fainted after defeating the dungeon boss, father carried you back home."
Hearing that, Hastora looked a little annoyed, "A great Demon Lord like me fainted after fighting a lowly monster? 'That's what he was thinking right now.
"Next time don't do anything that endangers yourself, you idiot," Sera said while pulling his ear.
"It's just practice, don't overdo it like that," he replied calmly.
Sera was even more annoyed, she was annoyed because Hastora didn't think about his safety, and spoke as if it wasn't a big deal. Sera pulled his ear hard, it caused Hastora's ear to hurt.
"Ughh! How dare a low-class noble girl pull a Demon Lord's ear," he said loudly.
"What Demon Lord, you idiot!, and you're also a low-class noble, don't act so superior" Sera replied angrily.
"That's right too," that's what he thought. Now he is not the great demon lord Hastora, now he is just a low-class noble.
"Yes, I'm sorry," said Hastora while hugging Sera.
Sera didn't expect Hastora to apologize, that's because Hastora usually always had a flat and cold expression.
"Alright... I forgive you, don't endanger yourself again next time." Sera replied while hugging Hastora back.
"I knew it... This is the most powerful way to deal with a tsundere girl," he muttered to himself.
20,000 years ago, he also had a tsundere female friend. He always used this trick to apologize, so, he tried to use this method now too. He also didn't expect that the trick from 20,000 years ago was still effective.
"Alright... Enough drama, I want to sit in the yard," he said while getting out of bed.
"Hey, you're not recovered yet," Sera said while pulling his shirt.
"Let me go, I just want to get some fresh air."
"Then let me carry you," Sera said with a little embarrassment.
Hastora never thought he would be carried by a woman, even 20,000 years ago he was never carried by a woman.
He reluctantly climbed onto Sera's shoulders. She carried him towards the yard of the house.
"It's so fresh here, isn't it," Sera said with a small smile.
"True."
Sera lowered Hastora in a chair near the yard. They both sat there while looking at the flower garden. The flowers were very beautiful, there were various colors. And the most beautiful was the rose. The roses there were well-maintained.
"Sister, when will you enter the academy," Hastora asked.
"Maybe two more years... Someone can only enter the academy when they are 12 years old."
"So it is."
20,000 years ago someone could enter the academy at the age of 10. So, Hastora was a little curious why Sera hadn't entered the academy, even though she was already 10 years old. "Times have changed," that's what he thought.
"Hastora, are you going with mother to uncle's place tomorrow?" asked his mother, she had just come out of the mansion.
Hastora wasn't interested in that.
"I'm not going." he replied with a flat face.
"Too bad... I wanted you to see the capital."
Hearing the word "capital", Hastora quickly accepted his mother's invitation.
"No no... That was just a joke, I'll go."
Hastora's goal was to go to the largest library in the capital. He wanted to find out information about 20,000 years ago.
"Alright... We'll leave early tomorrow morning."
