Upon reaching his room, Arnold immediately jumped onto the bed, exhausted. He looked extremely sleepy, his body also covered in sweat.
"We only walked for a short while," Toru said. "But why are you already so tired?"
"I don't know," Arnold replied. "Don't bother me, I want to sleep."
Arnold closed his eyes and immediately fell asleep quickly. He slept soundly like a bear in hibernation. Toru felt a little strange about Arnold. "How could someone who ranked 4th in the entrance exam get easily tired just from walking a short distance?" That was what was on Toru's mind at this moment.
Seeing Arnold fast asleep in the afternoon, Toru also jumped onto his bed and rolled around on it a little. It seemed this was a good situation for Hastora to take a walk around the academy alone. He walked towards the door of the room and said nothing to them.
"Where are you going?" asked the green-haired teenager. "Are you going out again?"
"Yes," he replied briefly.
"Alright then," said the green-haired teenager. "And my name is Qin Franzki."
The green-haired teenager named Qin waved his hand and smiled slightly at Hastora. Seeing that there was nothing else to talk about, Hastora left the room and walked towards the Class 3 area. He walked while putting both hands in his pants pockets and walking casually. He planned not to want to look too conspicuous. In his opinion, if he looked too conspicuous, it would make it more difficult for him to move more freely in the academy.
"Where are you going?" Zarafel asked curiously.
"To my older sister's place," he replied.
"That's right, your older sister is in Class 3 now, isn't she?" Zarafel asked.
"Yes," he replied briefly.
Along the way, many girls from Class 1 and 2 glanced at him, they didn't even blink at all when they glanced at him. Hastora, who had just realized this, immediately quickened his pace.
"Hoho... you're very popular, aren't you?" Zarafel asked in a slightly mischievous tone.
"Be quiet," he replied calmly, but sounded a little annoyed.
Hastora felt a little bothered if he was looked at by a woman who looked at him with eyes full of affection. But, if it was Charlotte who was looking at him, for some reason he didn't feel bothered at all. He kept thinking about that question in his head throughout the journey.
"You're Hastora, right?" asked a blue-haired woman standing behind him.
Hastora turned his head slightly back after hearing someone call his name. The woman looked like she was smiling now, she also had a beautiful face. However, that wouldn't make Hastora mesmerized.
"Yes," he replied. "What's up?"
The blue-haired woman walked towards Hastora while smiling slightly. She also extended her hand.
"Let me introduce myself, my name is Olivia Hasterlein," she said. "Nice to meet you."
"Yes," he replied while shaking Olivia's hand. "Get to the point, it's impossible for you to greet me just to tell me your name, right?"
Olivia looked a little surprised because Hastora knew the meaning of her greeting. She smiled slightly and immediately told the meaning of her greeting just now. However, he wanted to make sure of something first.
"You're Sera's younger brother, right?" she asked.
Hastora sighed, "yes," he replied. "I've been found out, haven't I?"
Olivia chuckled seeing Hastora who felt disappointed because she found out that Hastora was Sera's younger brother.. But, Olivia was also curious.
"Why do you look so disappointed when I find out that you are Sera's younger brother?" she asked.
"She's very famous in the academy, isn't she?" he asked. "If the whole academy knows that I'm Sera's younger brother, it will be a little troublesome."
Olivia chuckled, "I think you've become very popular now," she said. "Look at the girls who are looking at you over there."
Hastora glanced at the girls who were looking at him with cold stares, it was intended to make the girls feel intimidated by his cold stare. However, the result was not as Hastora expected. Instead of being afraid, the girls became even more melted by his cold stare.
"This is starting to get annoying," Hastora said while continuing his journey. "I'm leaving."
Olivia was a little surprised to see how cold Hastora was. How could he? he left a beautiful girl alone without finding out the meaning of Olivia's greeting just now, even though he had asked.
"Wait," Olivia said while holding his arm. "You want to go to Sera's place, right?"
"Yes," he replied briefly.
"The meaning of my greeting earlier was to escort you to Sera's place," Olivia said.
Hastora actually already knew the meaning of Olivia's greeting earlier. Of course, what else could be the meaning of a girl's greeting who knows that he is Sera's younger brother?. It's certain that Olivia knew that Hastora was Sera's brother because she was told directly by Sera, there was nothing else.
"If so, please help me," he said.
Hearing that, Olivia pulled Hastora's arm and took him to Sera's place. Seeing Olivia, Hastora felt that Olivia was someone famous and important in the academy, it could be seen from her nature and appearance.
Many girls looked at Olivia with envious and spiteful stares. But, Olivia didn't even care about them at all and continued to walk Hastora to his sister's place.
"Hastora!" Zarafel shouted in his mind. "This girl named Olivia has a beautiful face. So, don't you dare fall in love with her. You belong to Charlotte and you can only fall in love with Charlotte. I won't allow you to fall in love with another girl."
Hastora was a little surprised to hear Zarafel's strange words just now. "What are you talking about, idiot?" he asked. "A low-class creature like her wouldn't be able to make me fall in love with her. And, since when did I belong to Charlotte?"
Zarafel chuckled, "of course, since you two kissed."
Hastora quickly remembered the incident. He covered part of his face with his arm, and started taking deep breaths to forget the night's event. Olivia, seeing his behavior, felt a little curious about what he was doing.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Nothing important," he replied. "So don't ask."
Feeling that Hastora wouldn't answer any of her questions, Olivia chose to remain silent and not ask anything. She quickened her pace towards Sera's place.
"Slow down," Hastora said.
"This is much faster," Olivia replied.
Olivia decided to just run. She ran quickly while pulling Hastora's arm. Olivia took him to the Student Council room.
"Debumm"
"Sera!" Olivia shouted while kicking the door. "Your younger brother has arrived."
Everyone in the Student Council room was surprised to see Olivia suddenly kicking the entrance door. In the Student Council room, there were several people inside. There were two men and three women, if counted with Olivia and Sera, so there were five women in the room.
"My younger brother?" Sera asked. Her voice could be heard, but her whereabouts were unknown. "You mean Hastora?"
"Yes," Olivia replied.
Hearing Olivia's answer, Sera kicked the door of the alchemist room which was in the Student Council room, and immediately ran towards Hastora.
"You came too!" Sera shouted while hugging Hastora tightly.
"Let me go, damn it," Hastora said in a calm and cold voice.
"Come on! don't be so cold," she replied. "We haven't seen each other for a long time, it's okay for me to hug my handsome younger brother for a while, right?"
Hastora, who couldn't do anything, just resigned himself to being hugged by Sera. Everyone in the Student Council room who saw this felt strange about Sera's behavior now.
"What a brocon," they all said.
"What!?" Sera shouted. "You better shut up!, this is my personal pleasure so don't interfere."
They all immediately fell silent and continued their respective work. But, not Olivia. She was still looking at the two of them. But, this time she looked at them both with envious eyes.
"Ekhmm... you two should stop this drama," Olivia said.
"Eh?, why?" Sera asked. "Do you want to hug him too? If so, go ahead, let's hug together."
Hearing that, Olivia immediately responded with a wide smile. "Oh, really?" she said. "If so, let me hug your handsome younger brother too."
Olivia ran towards the two of them and immediately joined Sera hugging Hastora. "Damn!" he said. "You're so handsome Hastora, I can't believe Sera has a younger brother like you, do you want to be my brother too?"
Hastora's current position was being squeezed by two beautiful girls who were three years older than him. He started to feel uncomfortable with this situation, but he couldn't do anything. He just tried to stop them both using his words.
"Please stop, you damn brocon," he said while trying to get out of their hug. However,. they both didn't even care about his words, instead, they tightened their hug.
One of the Student Council members in the room felt that Hastora was in trouble. He got up from his chair and immediately separated the two of them from Hastora.
"That's enough," he said. "He looks like he's having trouble."
"What do you mean?" Sera replied. "He's actually happy because he's being hugged by two beautiful girls, right Hastora?"
Hastora sighed, "no," he replied. "You're such an annoying, brocon."
Sera looked annoyed after hearing that, it could be seen from her face. The veins on her face were visible, her skin also started to turn red because she felt annoyed as well as embarrassed because she was called that.
"You!" Sera shouted. "Even though we haven't seen each other for a long time, why are you so cold? You're such a jerk!"
Hastora just kept quiet, he seemed not to care about Sera's words just now. Hastora looked like he was trying to take something out of his pocket.
"Here, mother told me to give this to you," Hastora said while giving Sera the object he took from his pocket.
"What is this?" Sera asked while taking the object.
"A key," he replied.
"Eh?" Sera replied with a little curiosity. "What's it for?"
"You're going on a mission in the west tomorrow, right?" Hastora asked. "You'll know after you get there."
"How do you know I'm going on a mission tomorrow?"
"Secret," he replied.
"What?" Sera replied angrily. "You jerk! Just tell me!"
"It's a sword," he replied. "The sword will activate when you put your magic energy into it."
"What!" Sera was immediately surprised to hear that. "How can a key like this become a sword?"
Hastora just kept quiet and didn't answer a word. Then he walked out, leaving them all.
"Hey, tell me!" Sera shouted angrily because she wasn't told.
Still, Hastora didn't even tell a little bit and left them all without saying anything. He closed the door of the Student Council room and then walked back to his room.
Everyone in the Student Council room was confused by Hastora's cold attitude. But, not Sera. She was used to Hastora's cold attitude when she was at home, she could even be much colder than that.
Sera looked at a key that Hastora had given earlier. The key was dark blue, not too big and not too small. Sera, who was curious about the shape of the sword from the key, immediately put her magic energy into the key as Hastora had said earlier. But, a sword didn't even appear. She kept trying it over and over again, but nothing changed, the result remained the same.
Sera looked tired because of all the effort earlier, "huh, damn it why doesn't this key turn into a sword?" she said with a little annoyance. "Did Hastora trick me?"
"No, I don't think he tricked you," Olivia said. "Didn't Hastora say you'd know when you went on a mission tomorrow?"
Sera gave up her intention to bring out the sword again, she decided to try it when she went on a mission tomorrow. Sera, who looked tired, immediately walked out of the student council room and headed towards her room.
"Where are you going, Sera?" Olivia asked curiously.
"Of course, back to my room, it's 6:20 pm, isn't it?" Sera replied while leaving the student council room.
Olivia quickly turned to the clock on the wall to make sure Sera's words were true or not. Sure enough, Sera's words earlier weren't a lie. Olivia hurried to leave the student council room and chase after Sera who was walking towards her room.
On the other hand, Hastora had arrived at his room. Upon arriving there, Arnold, Qin, and Toru were fast asleep on their beds.
"Eh?, they fell asleep so quickly, even though it's only 6:25 pm," Zarafel said with a little surprise.
"I told you, they're perfect pawns even though they're a little noisy," Hastora replied while looking coldly at the three of them. "So I'm going to sleep too, I'll start studying here tomorrow."
"What are you going to study?" Zarafel asked. "You should already know about the lessons that will be taught, you're 20,000 years old yourself, right?"
"I'm not going to study, I'm just going to sleep," he replied. "My purpose in coming to the academy is to take a mission, and I will use that mission to act more freely."
Zarafel became curious to hear that. 'Mission?" he asked. "What mission?"
"Students at the academy will be given a mission three times a week," he replied. "The mission can be to defeat a monster, raid a 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲, and help a village from the threat of monsters. With a mission like that, I can act more freely to do something important later."
"How are you going to act more freely?" Zarafel asked. "To do a mission requires a team of four people. How will you act more freely if they're there?"
"I just need to separate myself from them," he replied. "I can take advantage of a chaos to separate myself from them."
"That's right," Zarafel replied. "That's a good idea."
"Alright, then don't ask anymore because I'm going to sleep," Hastora said as he jumped onto his bed.
His bed was quite comfortable, he felt a little comfortable with this bed. After a long day, Hastora closed his eyes and fell asleep like a sloth.
