~Juliana~
....
Juliana Knight walked into the Blackwood Corporation's forty-fourth-anniversary party with a purpose. She wore a stunning black velvet gown with an open-cut side and slit, her jet-black hair cascading down her back. Her piercing green eyes scanned the room, searching for the one person she had come to see: Aiden Blackwood.
As she mingled with the guests, Juliana's mind wandered back to the night that had changed her life forever. She had met a stranger, and their passion had resulted in a pregnancy. But she had never seen him again, and all she had to remember him by was the scent of his perfume - a unique blend of cherry blossom and rainforest vibes.
Juliana had spent months trying to recreate that scent, and her research had led her to a surprising discovery: the perfume had been created by Florence Blackwood, Aiden's late grandmother. It was a one-of-a-kind fragrance, and Juliana was convinced that Aiden was the father of her children.
Her mission tonight was to get a DNA sample from Aiden, either from his hair or a personal item. She had to know if he was the one.
As Damian Blackwood left Aiden's side, Juliana trailed behind them, trying to blend in with the crowd. She realized that someone was following her and turned back to catch a glimpse of golden hair. She smiled to herself, knowing she had already gained Aiden's attention.
Juliana walked back into the party, confident and poised. She mingled with the guests, answering questions about her company, Ethan Parfums. People were shocked to learn that the multi-billionaire corporation was owned by a twenty-three-year-old woman.
As she talked to the guests, Juliana noticed Aiden glancing at her constantly. She turned to him, and their eyes met in an electrifying way. Juliana walked closer, shaking his hand and introducing herself.
"Hi, I'm Juliana," she said, her voice confident.
Aiden responded, his eyes locked on hers. "Likewise."
As they conversed, Juliana couldn't help but think about the possibility that Aiden might be the father of her children. She explained to him that she was the owner of Ethan Parfums, and Aiden was shocked by her accomplishment.
When Aiden asked her what inspired her to create such a successful company, Juliana shared her story. "I strived hard to give a better life for my babies," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "When I found out I was pregnant, I decided to move to New Zealand and attend Auckland University to study perfumery."
Juliana explained how she created her first famous perfume, inspired by her mother's love of lavender and other scents that attracted sunlight. As she spoke, Aiden listened intently, his eyes never leaving hers.
Juliana couldn't help but wonder if she had just found the perfect opportunity to get what she came for.
As the conversation flowed, Juliana found herself captivated by Aiden's every move. Whether he was reaching for a glass of wine or laughing at a joke, she couldn't help but watch him.
As Aiden finished drinking a glass of champagne, Juliana mentioned that she wanted mineral water. Aiden immediately stood up to order it from a waiter. Juliana smiled to herself, her plan already in motion.
When Aiden returned, Juliana asked if she could try some wine instead. Aiden offered to order a bottle, and Juliana suggested a specific wine, "A 2015 Chateau Margaux." Aiden was impressed by her knowledge and went to order the wine.
As soon as Aiden was distracted, Juliana signaled to a waiter she had brought with her. The waiter quickly took the glass Aiden had used and placed it in a white plastic bag. Juliana then signaled another waiter to bring her a glass of water.
When Aiden returned with the wine, Juliana was sipping her water, her eyes sparkling with innocence.
"The wine is coming," Aiden said, smiling at her. "A 2015 Chateau Margaux, just as you requested."
Juliana smiled, her mind now at ease. She had gotten what she came for - a DNA sample from Aiden.
As they continued to talk, Juliana found herself enjoying Aiden's company. He was charming, witty, and seemed genuinely interested in getting to know her.
Aiden asked her about her company, and Juliana shared stories about her experiences working with international brands and small perfume companies. Aiden listened intently, asking thoughtful questions and making witty remarks.
At one point, Aiden made a joke that made Juliana laugh. As she smiled, her forest green eyes sparkled with a hint of gold. Aiden's eyes narrowed, and he felt a sudden sense of familiarity.
"Your eyes are captivating," Aiden said, his voice low and sincere. "They seem to have a hint of gold in them when you smile."
Juliana blushed at the compliment, her eyes sparkling with pleasure. "Thank you," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I haven't really heard that before in a while only my mother had said that."
As they continued to talk, Juliana's phone rang. She excused herself to answer it, and Aiden couldn't help but notice the way her eyes sparkled as she talked to her children.
When Juliana hung up, she smiled at Aiden. "My kids they called saying they couldn't sleep without me reading a bed time story" she said, her voice filled with love.
Aiden smiled back, feeling a sense of connection to this beautiful and captivating woman." That just goes to show that your kids love you."
Juliana smiles and replies "thanks that really thoughtful of you and thanks for the evening but I need to leave early to put them to bed."
As they said their goodbyes, Juliana felt a sense of accomplishment. She had gotten what she came for, and she had enjoyed Aiden's company.
"Nice meeting you, Aiden Blackwood," Juliana said, her voice confident.
"Likewise, Juliana Knight," Aiden replied, his eyes sparkling with interest.
As they parted ways, Juliana couldn't help but wonder what the future held for her and Aiden Blackwood.
