Chapter 16 – "Foundations of a Kingdom"
The kingdom buzzed with activity. With each passing day, the city grew stronger, its people more united.
Reinhardt stood atop the fortress walls, watching as new buildings rose and his army trained in the fields below.
City Expansion – Strength in Growth
Karl, the Shield Bearer, led the construction efforts to improve the kingdom's defenses and infrastructure.
New Developments:
Expanded Farmlands – More food production to support the growing population.
A Grand Market District – Trade flourishes, bringing in gold and resources.
Mage's Tower – A center for magical research and training.
Barracks Expansion – Allows for larger military recruitment and training.
Ballista and Archer Towers – Reinforcing defenses for future sieges.
Karl wiped sweat from his forehead. "With this, my lord, the city will stand strong against any threat."
Reinhardt smirked. "Good. But strength alone isn't enough."
Advancing Professions – A New Era
Sylwen, the silver-haired elven mage, stood before a group of humans and elves, teaching them the ways of magic.
"Magic is not just about power," she lectured. "It is about control. Focus. Precision."
With the elves now fully integrated, new professions emerged:
Professions Unlocked!
Royal Magisters – Advanced magic users trained in elven and human spells.
Silver Rangers – Elite archers skilled in ambush tactics and long-range combat.
Master Artificers – Blacksmiths and craftsmen who can now work with magical materials.
Oswald, the Scout and Archer, led the ranger recruits into the wilds for training. Their ability to move unseen and strike from a distance would be invaluable.
Reinhardt watched with approval. His kingdom was no longer just a city—it was becoming a force to be reckoned with.
Dungeon Expedition – The Journey Begins
Gerrick, the General Commander, approached. "My lord, the expedition force is ready."
Reinhardt nodded. "Then we move at dawn."
The first dungeon expedition would mark a new era for the kingdom. What lay within the depths… no one could predict.
