As Dawn walks down the alley, they feel their stomach twist, their feet feeling as if they would give out at any moment, their hands and breath shaking.
Dawn: "Why are people so evil.. why..? I don't understand.. I don't understand.. I SAID I DON'T UNDERSTAND!! WHY IS THIS WORLD SO FILLED WITH EVIL! Is there any good anymore.. what's the point of trying.. if all I'll ever succeed in doing is marching the people I love into certain doom.."
Dawn said aloud, as if someone was nearby to hear them, but there was no one. They were alone, for the second time. As Dawn continued to talk,
Dawn: "why must my actions always have consequences.. why must I bear all the responsibility and consequences.."
As Dawn said this, they stumbled upon a piece of cloth. It felt rough to the touch, it didn't have a distinct smell to it. Dawn thought to themselves, "I wish not to see what my actions cause.. I do not want to see the suffering of my small mistakes splinter off into becoming.."
Once Dawn was finished thinking this, they wrapped the piece of cloth across their face, covering their eyes, making them lose most of their vision.
Dawn stumbled for a long time, not being able to adapt in such a short amount of time to their new handicap. As they started to focus on their other senses, they could smell the moisture of the walls, hear the sound of their footsteps, they felt the rough and rigid texture as they grazed their hand against the bricks.
Eventually, Dawn started calming down, the nausea and shaking fading, they felt their strength come back to them.
After walking for a long time, they finally made it out of the alley, they faintly saw a tavern ahead of them through the piece of cloth. Dawn felt as if the tavern was pulling him in.. "Fate is destined to bring two intertwined story's together."
