Lorian looked up at the sky as he waited for ***** to make his final decision. He had only agreed to help ***** fight "them" because he didn't want his own family to die in the war.
"Thank you for keeping your word, Lorian. But our enemies are still here." Lorian looked at *****, then clenched his fist and spoke angrily for the first time, showing emotion, "You don't want me to kill little children, do you?" Lorian looked at *****. "No, I'm not asking you to kill little children or innocent people. While you were destroying your armies, the Family Leaders got together and started a ritual to get the help of the gods they believe in. Now there are five gods on this battlefield because we didn't stop them in time." It would have been better for ***** to kill those children
and the people he decided were innocent, but ***** did not want to make Lorian his enemy over that.
Actually, Lorian thought he would have no problem even if he was his enemy, but he decided to wait a little longer and be patient.
Lorian was surprised by *****'s words at first, but he quickly recovered and started to speak."You must be a Chaos Bringer in the 10th stage of the Chaos Path, right now, right?" ***** didn't say anything for a while.
What Lorian didn't know was that ***** was on the same path as him and had already reached the 11th stage. "Yes, I am a Chaos Bringer who is currently at the 10th stage of the Chaos Path. Even though there's no one higher than you on the battlefield right now, it's impossible to fight beings who have reached the highest level of control over echoes and esensa because of your use of that attack." Lorian's eyes widened in surprise, but he quickly controlled his face to look unmoved.
He was surprised that ***** knew about the Cosmic Esensia Form. Right now his body and soul were in a terrible state, and the echoes were going crazy.
His condition was not visible from the outside because he had now mastered the control of emotion, body, and imagination.
He knew that the Cosmic Esensia Form would put him in a bad situation, but he did not expect it to have such a big impact.
Lorian knew that if he fought the gods now, he would have to use the Cosmic Esensia Form to win. Using it would cause the Echoes to go insane and out of control.
They would become more out of control than they were now, and Lorian would lose control over Esensia. This would cause the Echoes to lose their humanity and suffer forever in the eternal timelessness of eternity as the Cosmic Esensia Form exploded.
If we fight beings that have reached the God stage, we're basically making a deal with the Grim Reaper... "So what do you suggest we do?" Lorian said, looking at *****. ***** smiled. "What am I suggesting? The way you are now, we can't survive or escape. You think you're ready to make plans with me, Lorian? No matter how powerful you are, using the Cosmic Esensia Form without reaching the same stage as the Old Master will first crack your soul. Then your echoes will go crazy. Finally, the whispers will start whispering for you to die and your soul to be destroyed. You, Lorian, must have already experienced all these stages by using the Cosmic Esensia Form. I can defeat you even if I am the 11th Stage Time Lord in this state."
Lorian's face ***** grew darker as he spoke. On his way to ---- -- --------, Lorian had reached Stage 13, the Old God stage. This made him the Lord of Order.
But it didn't matter who was at what stage now. When ***** first started talking, he was sure that he could fight ***** using the Advanced Form, even if he didn't use the Cosmic Esensia Form in his current form.
But when Lorian heard ***** continue talking, the hope in his eyes disappeared. Even Lorian had a hard time finding secrets about the Old Master that no other being knew, and he had defied death many times to get to this stage.
But *****'s words showed that he was not on the Path of Chaos, but on a different path. Lorian began to speak angrily. "*****, how did you get this information! Why?! Why did you lie to everyone from the start, saying you were on the Path of Chaos?!" Lorian stared angrily at *****, trying to understand why he was doing this.
***** started to speak in a sarcastic tone. "Ah, Lorian, don't be so obvious. But don't worry, it wasn't a lie that I was on the Chaos Path. I was on the path of ---- -- -------- when a chance came along, and I started on the Path of Chaos at the same time."
Lorian was shocked when he heard *****'s words. He was amazed that ***** had reached advanced stages on two separate paths.
He was particularly surprised that he was moving in two opposite directions at the same time. He thought, No one can be on two different paths at once.
If an ascendant tried to follow two separate paths, his echoes would go crazy. He would lose control over Esensia during the ritual he would perform with the materials he had gathered to acquire his second path, and he would die as a result.
But that didn't mean there were no ascended ones who traveled on two separate paths. These people were very rare, and as far as Lorian knew, there were no ascended ones in the world at the moment, except for the Gods.
Second and finally, traveling on two opposite paths. The Gods, the Old Gods and even the Old Master had not dared to do this because in the past, ascended ones who had reached the Constellation stage had tried.
But when he tried, it was said that he disappeared without leaving a speck of dust. But the reason Lorian was afraid was because of the path ***** was traveling. And the reason Lorian couldn't understand how this was possible is that the Chaos Path and the ---- -- -------- path are the two most opposite paths in existence. The Chaos Path is a way to destroy Order; the ---- -- -------- path is a way to preserve Order.
Lorian looked at *****, trying to figure out what was going on."*****! What about the gods that landed on the battlefield?! Are you seriously planning to fight me right now, in this situation?!" ***** He smiled at Lorian's words. "What gods? Oh, wait! I remember now! Are you talking about the five weak gods that I destroyed before you came here, without leaving a trace, with the new power I gained by combining the forces of Chaos and Order? I'm sorry to disappoint you, Lorian, but they were truly a disgrace to the Gods. They had no right to call themselves gods, and I destroyed them all before you arrived."
As ***** spoke, Lorian watched, feeling admiration, despair, and fear. Before Lorian could say anything, ***** started talking again."Ah... Lorian, it's been so nice knowing you. But you are no longer useful to me. You are in my way. You are a big obstacle and threat to my achieving my goal. The throne is meant for one man only, Lorian." He stopped speaking for a moment and then said goodbye. Lorian."
As *****'s last words were heard, ***** disappeared and suddenly reappeared in front of Lorian, holding a dagger filled with yellow and black energy, about to stab him.
Just as a dagger was about to hit Lorian, he used his Cosmic Esensia Form to stop time. This allowed him to escape the dagger. However, he could not completely avoid the dagger, which was filled with yellow and black energy. Instead, the dagger stuck in his shoulder.
Lorian screamed when a dagger went through his shoulder. He felt like his soul was being torn apart, his echoes started to go crazy, and he started to hear some whispers.
Lorian grabbed *****'s arm and used Cosmic Esensia to tear *****'s arm to pieces. ***** screamed in pain and backed away. Lorian took hold of the dagger that was still in his shoulder, pulled it out, and let out another scream.
Lorian felt intense pain as the echoes went wild. He heard screams of pain, revenge, and madness. As he passed out, he looked up and saw *****.
He was holding his shattered arm and coming towards him. This was the last thing Lorian saw. He blacked out and fainted.
When Lorian opened his eyes again, he saw a dark and elegant figure sitting on a majestic throne, bound in chains. As Lorian looked at the elegant figure, he felt his soul being mended instead of shattered.
The voices of pain, revenge, and madness that filled his ears disappeared. He felt himself come back to reality. Lorian heard the figure finally say something more, but before he could hear what it was saying, he lost consciousness again and his eyes went completely black.
Lorian sat up in bed, clutching his shoulder in sweat and fear. He felt a lot of pain in his shoulder and something sticky on the hand holding it.
As he screamed silently from the pain, he brought his hand to his face and realized it was covered in blood.
She stood up in pain and went to the door to go to the bathroom. But as soon as he opened the door to his room, he saw Elira.
Lorian's eyes glazed over, and he passed out in front of Elira.
