Haruto and Calveros charged at each other.
At the last second before the hit connected, Haruto reinforced his fists with spiritual energy.
They both punched each other in the face dealing the same amount of damage but with Haruto having the slight edge.
They both stumbled backwards.
"You are able to keep up this time... But you're not gonna last long in a battle of wits!!!"
Haruto dashed forward and headbutted Calveros in the face.
Calveros was still shaken from the attack.
As Haruto dashed forward. Calveros grabbed his arm, he started to slam Haruto's body around. The trees, the ground, wherever.
As Calveros continues, Haruto, despite still being toseed around, swung his body towards Calveros with his foot pointed towards him.
Calveros gets hit in the chest with the kick, knocking him down.
He immediately gets up.
Haruto and Calveros kept exchanging blows.
Haruto then dashed backwards, he then climbs a tree until he reached a high altitude in the air. He then immediately jumped down and pointed his fists towards Calveros with immense amount of spiritual energy applied while falling at an astonishing speed.
Calveros quickly blocks the attack with his arms but the impact was too intense.
Rubble, spiritual energy and dust flew everywhere
The attack knocked Calveros to the ground, not being able to think clearly, along with some bruises.
Haruto crouched in front of Calveros. He began pummeling Calveros.
(Omni Man style)
He kept throwing more and more punches towards at a weakened Calveros.
Despite Calveros weakened and laying down. He managed to grab his fist and gave Haruto a powerful uppercut, sending him 3 meters away.
Calveros was barely able to get up, but the persists.
They gave another shot at besting each other physically but it was a tie and went nowhere.
Both are tired, so they resulted in using ranged attacks.
Both sides charged up their ceros
Their blasts of energy clashed with one another.
But it was also another tie.
Both of them are running out of spiritual energy.
They tried again.
Clashed their Ceros.
But this time. Calveros was able to concentrate more of his Spiritual energy into his Cero. Which resulted in Haruto losing.
Haruto ended up suffering damages from the cero, brought to his knees.
"I knew you were weak!!!"
Calveros let's out a scream. Alerting his subordinates in the area.
Haruto was barely able to say
"H-hey! This was supposed to be a fair duel!"
"What do you think this is?! We're not in the Soul Society!! We're not Soul reapers!! I can do whatever I want!!"
"Soul.... What?"
3 hollows hollows emerged from the shadows, ready to serve Calveros.
"GRAB HIM!!!"
They do as follows and grabbed Haruto's arm, legs and waist.
Haruto screams
"Let go!"
Calveros prepares for a Cero of his own.
Then.....
Haruto remembers some words from Ashido....
"To stop a cero. You can use your own cero or something else that is as strong as it."
Haruto is on his last spare of energy but he was barely able prepare a Cero of his own.
"Hah! After all of that damage you're still abt to fight??? Impressive! BUT I TRAINED MY CERO EVERYDAY. YOUR NO MATCH, YOU SUBHOLLOW SCUM!!!"
Both Ceros clashed with each other.
Spiritual pressure in the area began to fluctuate. It attracted several hollows further away.
The clash of Ceros was still ongoing between the two. With both each concentrating all of their spititual energy into this match deciding cero clash.
Haruto was starting to lose the clash, and Calveros breaks out a smile. Until he remembered that he wanted to change.
"If i die here..... I'd be as pathetic as my previous life. I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!!!
He concentrates the remaining energy he had left.
It starts overpowering Calveros' cero. Until Haruto's cero was up in his face.
A loud explosion was heard in the area bursting with Spiritual pressure.
It was dusty. But as it cleared.... We could see Calveros conscious, but struggling to even move.
Haruto.... Standing still but damaged severely.
As for the 3 hollows.... They're unconscious.
Haruto approaches Calveros.
Ashido watches from afar.
"Don't call me a sub hollow, prick."
Calveros. With fear in his eyes began to crawl away from Haruto, but it was in vain.
Haruto to began to consume Calveros alive. He screams in pain.
Haruto ate Calveros' limbs slowly. Leg, to head.
Eventually.... He ate up all of Calveros.
His spiritual once again grew larger. Attracting what's left of Calveros' men (9 are left).
They gathered around Haruto.
One of them says
"Calveros is finally.... Gone"
"That hollow there probably ate him!!"
"As the new leader.... My 1st order is to bring me that hollow right there!!"
"Who said that YOUR the leader?!"
They all began to fight over themselves, eating each other in the process.
Haruto was a main target. He began to bite off anyone who approached them.
Suddenly.... A red Aura surrounded them.
They combined into one being.
Forming a monstrous tall figure with a unique mask. Transforming all of them into a Gillian.
Ashido approaches the Gillain an says.
"Is that you? Hollow?"
The Gillian looks down...
"Woah!! I'm so tall! Yet... I feel so stiff"
Ashido mutters to himself.
"Yeah.... It's him."
"Why didn't you readied your sword? Ashido? I could've killed you!"
"Didn't need to. I knew you'd win the battle for the consciousness of the Gillian."
Haruto, touched with Ashido's words said.
"Thank you... I'll repay you back in the future."
Ashido hops on Haruto's head.
"Hol- Haruto, head to my cave."
"Oh..... You should just go right on ahead. It'll take a while before i get there."
"It's fine. I'd like the company before we part."
As their still walking.
Haruto asks.
"Calveros mentioned me something about the "Soul Society". What IS the Soul Society?"
"It's the place where I came from. It's a very peaceful place for souls that have died from the World of the living."
"Then.... Why are you here?"
"Me and my comrades entered a portal when attempting to chase hollows down."
"Where are your comrades now?"
"They've all sadly perished. Leaving me to fend for myself."
"Oh..... I'm sorry to hear that."
They eventually made it to the base but Haruto obviously couldn't get in due to his size.
"Well... I believe this is where we part ways.... Ashido. Farewell...."
Ashido and Haruto looked at each other one last time with respect and parted ways.
