"The Uchiha clan's god of the ninja world?" Tobirama frowned but nodded. "I'll go with you."
"I'm going too..." Hiruzen added coldly after a moment of silence.
"You don't need to, old man," Jiraiya said with hesitation.
"...Why?"
Hiruzen's expression darkened. "The Uchiha clan murdered Konoha's leadership. I can't just let that go."
Jiraiya hesitated. He couldn't bring himself to say that all of Konoha's major clans had signed a ten-deadly-sins notice against Hiruzen. At this point, Sarutobi Hiruzen was a rat on the street—reviled by the village.
If he went back...
He'd face a storm of scorn and hatred from both civilians and shinobi alike.
"I must go!" Hiruzen said firmly. "I'm already dead. What's there to be afraid of? Let me see how the First and Second Hokage handle Uchiha Yuta."
