The Weight of Truth
Kael stood motionless, his mind racing through a thousand possibilities. The woman before him was not supposed to exist. Yet here she was, standing as proof that the past was not entirely erased.
"Who else remembers?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
She smirked, tilting her head. "Enough to matter. Enough to make sure you don't get too comfortable."
Kael clenched his fists. He had rewritten the fabric of reality, resetting time itself to create a world untouched by the corruption of gods. But the remnants of that past, the echoes of those powerful enough to defy oblivion, still lingered.
And they would come for him.

A New Threat
The woman—who Kael now recognized as Seraphine, the former Herald of the Void—took a slow step forward. "You thought breaking the cycle would be the end? That you could just live as a human and forget it all?" Her voice was laced with amusement. "The universe doesn't work that way."
Kael's expression darkened. "Then what does it want from me?"
Seraphine's smile faded. "Balance was destroyed the moment you erased the gods. Something else has taken notice. Something older. And it's coming."
Kael felt a chill run down his spine. He had thought himself free of divine meddling, yet now a force beyond gods loomed in the distance.

A War Beyond Reality
Seraphine turned, looking at the sky. "You don't have much time. There are others like me—those who remember. Some will come to fight by your side. Others… will try to finish what you started in their own way."
Kael exhaled slowly. "Then I'll be ready."
She chuckled. "You better be. Because this time, there are no gods left to stop what's coming. Only you."
The words settled heavily on Kael's shoulders. He had been a god, the strongest among them. But now, he was something else.
Something unknown.
And soon, the universe would test him once again.
