Chapter 52 - Chapter 52 Silver Horn King

'Put this on!' Chu Feng gestured to the yellow ox and fetched a rough, crudely made fur coat that he had simply stitched together.

The yellow ox's fur was golden yellow, smooth like satin, flowing with brilliance, making it too conspicuous.

If it walked into Taihang Mountain so boldly, it would inevitably attract attention and be considered an unusual beast, causing trouble.

Reluctantly, the yellow ox mainly found the fur too thick, covering it entirely except for two holes for its eyes, while its nose, mouth, and ears were covered by the fur.

"Moo!" The yellow ox expressed its dissatisfaction.

"There's no discussion about this; you have no choice!" Chu Feng was firm in his attitude.

After putting on the fur coat, the yellow ox walked upright like a strange figure. However, there were many unusual people in Taihang Mountain, so its appearance wasn't much of a deal.

Chu Feng thought its head looked too swollen and awkward, deciding it would be better to expose its two light-gold horns.

He cut two holes in the fur to let the two golden horns show through.

"There are always some unusual people with horns. Alright, from now on, you're the masked hero—Ox King!" Chu Feng chuckled.

Then, Chu Feng put boots on it and even hid its front hooves, wearing a pair of golden gloves, fully dressed up.

The yellow ox approached a mirror, looking at itself again and again, wanting to tear off this outfit in anger. What was this? It ruined its glorious image.

"Don't complain; to match you, I'm wearing brother outfits with you. Be content!"

Chu Feng put on a helmet specially made to cover his face, leaving only his nose, mouth, and eyes visible, with a pair of silver horns on top.

"From now on, I'm called Ox God King!" Chu Feng said, patting the yellow ox's shoulder.

The yellow ox looked at him, nodded, and wrote a few words: Better looking than before.

Go away! What kind of look is that? Chu Feng wanted to slap it twice.

"Let's go!" He waved his hand, leading the yellow ox out, bathed in the morning glow, walking towards Taihang Mountain.

"Wait, what about the preserved dinosaur meat?" Chu Feng turned back and asked the yellow ox beside him.

Walking upright, the yellow ox patted its stomach, indicating that it didn't lose it and ate it all.

"Dead ox, did you hide in the room and secretly eat mine too?!"

"Moo!" The yellow ox stood on its hind legs, touching its belly, still not satisfied, meaning it wasn't full yet.

"Ox King!"

...

The rising sun burst forth, the mist accompanying the mountains turning red.

Although it was early, Taihang Mountain was not quiet, with unusual people frequently appearing, some coming alone, others in groups.

In the mountains, cliffs, and valleys, unusual figures could be seen everywhere.

Many already knew that the mysterious fruit from the strange pine trees in Taihang Mountain was about to ripen, and those who dared to come here all harbored hope.

This naturally couldn't avoid conflicts!

Walking in the mountains, Chu Feng had already discovered several bloody scenes where unusual people fought and died in the grass.

This was just the beginning!

Due to some friction, bloodshed occurred, and one could imagine how restless today would be. When the pine cones matured, it would be even more intense.

In front of White Snake Ridge.

There were many unusual people here, some sitting on mountain peaks, others standing at valley entrances, and some flying, hanging in mid-air.

With more people came more noise, making this area very lively but also filled with danger.

People understood that this place was filled with killing intent, and if a fight started, nearby unusual people might instantly become enemies.

So, despite chatting, they remained vigilant.

Chu Feng and the yellow ox arrived at White Snake Ridge, originally planning to sneak in quietly, but found it unnecessary as there were unusual people everywhere.

"Why are you hiding your heads under rags?"

As soon as they arrived, someone confronted Chu Feng and the yellow ox, obviously trying to intimidate them.

This unusual person looked somewhat scary, with spines on his back, fine green scales on his body, wide mouth, and sharp teeth, resembling a mountain demon.

"What's it to you, bullying us?"

As soon as Chu Feng spoke, four or five people led by this unusual person quickly surrounded them. Clearly, they wanted to establish their authority and gather followers.

Others had done this before, displaying strong measures to attract other unusual people to form teams.

"Huh, you've got quite a mouth. Today, I'll strip off your fur coat because I don't like you!" The leader sneered, then, with a loud bang, his fist covered in green scales shot lightning-fast towards Chu Feng's temple.

His attack was ruthless and poisonous, aiming directly at Chu Feng's temple, which could cost half his life if hit.

"Get lost!"

Chu Feng's gaze was cold, kicking the green fist in the air, producing a crisp sound, breaking his arm.

Bang!

Then, Chu Feng kicked him in the chest, sending him flying backward, knocking down others.

Two kicks established his dominance; the unusual person spat blood, convulsing, fainting, while others turned pale.

They knew they hit a tough opponent, getting up from the ground and retreating hastily.

"Brother, you're really powerful. How about joining forces later?"

Indeed, after these two kicks, some unusual people gathered around, acknowledging Chu Feng's strength, wanting to join his team.

"Sorry, I'm not interested," Chu Feng replied.

In his view, temporary alliances seemed to offer warmth and strength but were actually useless crowds in critical moments.

"Aren't you too arrogant?" Someone muttered discontentedly.

Chu Feng glanced over, silencing them, fearing to provoke such a powerful unusual person.

"Brother, we're sticking with you!"

Some insisted on following him despite his refusal.

"I'm really not interested!" Chu Feng refused again.

However, he underestimated them; seeing his outstanding strength and unwillingness to join, they felt he might be a super expert and refused to leave, insisting on following him.

Chu Feng gave up, letting them be, walking forward.

These people took initiative, some clearing the way ahead, others surrounding him, treating him as the core, sticking with him.

The more Chu Feng refused, the stronger they perceived him, refusing to leave, resulting in dozens following him, forming a considerable group.

Their sole thought was staying close to a strong person to better take advantage when reaching the strange tree, eating the fruit, and possibly transforming into powerful beings like Golden Monkeys or Silver-Winged Celestial Gods, rumored to be immune to heat weapons!

"Damn, looks like Tian Shen Bio wants to monopolize us, making us queue up to enter White Snake Ridge's depths."

Someone whispered curses, very dissatisfied.

"What's going on? With so many of us, thousands, aren't we enough to challenge Tian Shen Bio?" Someone stirred emotions.

"Look over there, heavy weapons are set up on the mountain tops." Someone pointed far.

Everyone looked, changing expressions.

"I don't believe they'd dare attack. Let's go!" Someone said.

Mainly due to too many unusual people, even if Tian Shen Bio was strong, could they fight against thousands? They'd become public enemies.

In reality, this incident grew big since rumors spread, making Tian Shen Bio's higher-ups anxious, as things went beyond control.

Now, they tried to maintain order.

Chu Feng queued, not intending to climb over, blending in the crowd to appear ordinary.

"Get out of the way!"

Suddenly, behind came commotion, a group pushing aside those in front.

Chu Feng was forcefully pushed, witnessing those earlier willing to follow him scatter, proving unreliable.

"Aren't you too domineering?" Chu Feng turned back.

"Get lost!" Their attitude was rude, pushing and preparing to attack.

Chu Feng got angry, having been bothered by Lin Nuoyi's uncle in the morning, now facing further provocation, his anger erupted.

"You should get lost!"

Next moment, he acted, calling the yellow ox to join in attacking fiercely.

Instantly, many bled from noses and mouths, bones broken, flying out.

"Looking for death!"

This team was indeed strong, their leader towering at two meters, bald, radiating terrifying energy.

Transforming into a rock giant, growing to seven meters tall, stomping the ground, crushing anyone beneath.

Seeing this, Chu Feng's eyes shone brightly, realizing the post-civilization transformation unleashed different wildness.

Witnessing the cruel rock giant, he showed no mercy, delivering lethal blows.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

...

Under shocked gazes, Chu Feng's punches shattered the rock giant, who fell dead.

The team scattered immediately.

Chu Feng proceeded without pause, causing shock among observers, recognizing him as a super expert.

Those earlier scattering regretted, unable to approach now.

"Brother, what's your name? Let's get acquainted," some called out, clearly valuing Chu Feng's strength.

"I'm Ox God King!" Chu Feng answered straightforwardly.

The group exchanged glances, focusing on his silver horns, finding it fitting.

But Chu Feng introduced the yellow ox, "This is my brother, Ox King!"

The group was stunned, Ox God King plus Ox King, truly brothers.

"Looks more like Golden Horn King, Silver Horn King," someone murmured, staring at their horns.

Post-transformation unusual people varied greatly, horns not uncommon.

Chu Feng left without responding.

Behind, discussions arose, Chu Feng's name not spreading, but Silver Horn King becoming well-known.

Deep in White Snake Ridge, though crowded, each occupied a spot, relatively peaceful.

Clearly, those daring to stay were great experts.

Many retreated after assessing the situation, avoiding involvement.

Chu Feng chose a mountain peak, offering a good view of the strange tree.

Nearby peaks were similarly occupied.

"The fruit isn't ripe yet, seems we need to wait half a day." Chu Feng's keen eyes saw the pinecone still slightly green, not fully purple-gold.

Finding a spring, Chu Feng hunted a small muntjac for breakfast, as the yellow ox ate his earlier meal.

Suddenly, he spotted Lin Yeyu and the woman entering deep into White Snake Ridge, glancing in his direction.

Then, an unusual person politely asked Chu Feng to leave, yielding the peak to someone chosen by Tian Shen Bio.

'Disappear immediately!' Chu Feng responded with four brief words."
