Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: The Heavenly Group Stirs

The next morning, sunlight spilled through Lin Feng's apartment window. He sat on his modest couch, legs propped up on the coffee table, phone in hand, half-eaten toast on his plate. He looked like any lazy college student.

But of course, reality was never that simple.

[System: Host, shouldn't you be doing something productive? Like solving world hunger or finally figuring out how to boil noodles properly?]

"Quiet," Lin Feng muttered, typing something into his phone. "I'm being social."

[System: You? Social? What's next, a cooking show? 'Billionaire Bites' hosted by our favorite fake broke college student?]

He ignored it and opened the Heavenly Group chat—a hidden group exclusively for the most elite second-generation tycoons, business heirs, and lowkey sharks in designer suits. Everyone here was loaded… but most of them had no idea Lin Feng wasn't one of them.

Well, not in the traditional sense.

He scrolled through the latest chatter—someone had just posted a picture of their yacht. Another had complained about their Lamborghini being "too common" now. Lin Feng chuckled and casually typed a message.

[Lin Feng]: Anyone know someone selling a private music studio or a high-end piano? Steinway level or better. Not urgent, just thinking of picking one up.

The chat froze for a full ten seconds.

And then—

[Yu Fan – "Yacht Prince"]: Bro, finally speaking up! What kind of vibe you going for? Classic? Modern? I know a designer who does studio interiors for pop stars. Want me to link you up?

[Liu Minghao – "Lamborghini Guy"]: Wait wait, Lin bro plays music? I got a friend whose dad owns three Steinways. I'll ask for you!

[Feng Zhiqiang – "Shark Smile"]: Yo, Lin Feng, heard you made waves at that auction last week. You moving into the entertainment scene now? Respect.

[Zhou Tianyu – Verified Seller]: Hey Lin Feng, I have exactly what you're looking for. Private studio, downtown, soundproofed, with a top-tier Steinway Model D. Been sitting unused—I was going to give it to my sister, but she moved abroad. If you're interested, I'd love to meet and show it to you personally. My treat—lunch, drinks, or even a little jam session if you're up for it. Always good to make new friends.

Lin Feng's eyebrow lifted slightly.

That was fast.

[Lin Feng]: Sounds good. Let's talk later today. Send me the address.

[System: Aww, look at you—making friends, networking, being all social. Next thing you know, they'll be forming a fan club. "Lin Feng's Loyal Disciples." Want me to design the logo?]

"Keep talking and I'll design a system reset button," Lin Feng muttered, setting the phone down with a satisfied smirk.

Outside a trendy French fusion restaurant downtown, Jiang Yue'er looked around curiously. "This place seems expensive…"

Lin Feng shrugged. "It's alright."

She gave him a look. "You booked a rooftop garden table with live violin music and a skyline view… and you call it alright?"

Lin Feng smirked but said nothing. The waiter led them to the top floor, where a small private section overlooked the city. Seated already was a handsome man in a tailored navy suit, rising to greet them.

"Lin Feng, right?" Zhou Tianyu grinned. "Pleasure to finally meet you."

"And this must be…" he glanced at Jiang Yue'er and gave a polite nod. "Your muse, I assume?"

Lin Feng chuckled. "Something like that."

[System: Host, did he just call her your muse? This guy's smoother than you. Watch out, he might steal your spotlight and your lunch date.]

Jiang Yue'er blushed slightly but didn't correct him.

Zhou Tianyu gestured for them to sit, already motioning for the waiter. "I've arranged a little tasting menu. Hope that's alright."

"Of course," Lin Feng said coolly.

As the drinks were poured and appetizers arrived, Zhou Tianyu leaned forward. "About the studio—it's fully set up. Hardwood floors, Steinway Model D, acoustic paneling. I'll waive all service fees if it's you, just consider it… the beginning of a friendship."

Jiang Yue'er's eyes widened. "That sounds like a dream."

Lin Feng leaned back, sipping his wine, hiding a smirk. "Well, I do have a soft spot for good music."
