Noa's flesh was freshly built, materializing in the same spot where he died.
The goblins were still there, watching their dead comrades.
His previous body disappeared, and in its place, a new one was born, leaving a scar on his back but no other wounds.
Being reconstructed from scratch still hurt like hell.
He screamed again, but it also brought warmth and a rewarding feeling to his soul.
His consciousness returned sooner than the last time.
'I'm back.'
As soon as he realized, Noa didn't dwell on mindless thinking.
Darting his eyes around, he acknowledged his enemies and the five goblins he had to slay to level up.
After death, he lost all experience points, excluding the two he got from dying.
Now he had to be quicker than before.
Thankfully, even the dumb goblins were confused upon seeing the same guy they had killed twice already.
Noa used the timing to near perfection and dashed, taking the dagger from the ground.
Just because he was a Wizard didn't mean he couldn't use a sword.

The system's prompts appeared in his vision.
The sword didn't have a level indicator because it couldn't just level up.
Not letting them distract him from his actions, Noa didn't hold himself back and sliced the nearest goblin's throat, smearing the blood on his clothes.
He had no qualms or disgust, as his mind was occupied by his Class Skill.
Activating it right away, Noa felt a relentless pull towards the goblin, and one second later, he was inside the monster.
It was a novel experience, filled with foreign endeavors.
Noa didn't want to spend too much time studying the situation, but curiosity won over his dedication, and he checked the status window.
For the saving grace, his actual body disappeared, and no goblin could guess that their dead comrade, who suddenly stood up, would be their enemy.

A lot had changed, and including his species and attributes, there was one skill addition.
No talent was shown, as primitive goblins didn't have one.
His basic stats were lower, but the fact that he was a goblin would aid his battle.
Even the Dagger Mastery might prove to be useful.
He would use the same attributes upon adopting the puppet's skills, but his original skills would employ his real stats.
As Noa was getting used to this new, temporary body, he felt a headache coming in, indicating that his mana expenditure wasn't something he could tolerate at his current level.
Not wanting to waste his time, he took the dagger and attacked the goblin from the back, killing it with one strike.
Taking out the blade from the flesh, he aimed at another monster.
There were a hundred goblins around him.
They were already confused when Noa disappeared and appeared multiple times, and now that their own comrade attacked them, it increased their bewilderment even further.
His aim never missed the target, and the second goblin's ears were pierced by his dagger.
At first, his movements were clunky and awkward, but the more he moved, the better control he gained.
Somewhere along the way, Noa enjoyed the fight.
From the initial three kills, he added another one by penetrating the heart of his opponent.
It was time for the monsters to catch up to what was going on, and even if they never put the blame on Noa, they had to neutralize the traitor.
Understanding that he was going to get attacked from countless different directions, he gutted the closest goblin.
The poor soul died, bleeding heavily.
Ding!
Leveling notifications surfaced in his view, yet he neglected them again.
Just as the creatures tried to get offensive, Noa used his skill once more.
He had no intention of stopping.
Changing his body again, he seized another puppet for him to settle in.
'Damn, I love this skill.'
Thinking cheerfully about his accomplishments, the pain in his head intensified.
'This is the last body I can control.'
Noa guessed that his low mana and grade affected how many times and how long he could abuse the Corpse Puppet skill.
He also knew that based on his current status, he would have a hard time reaching the second level up.
Yet he didn't give up.
Even if he were to lose EXP points, he would still kill his enemies and lower their numbers.
Rising with his new body, the wounds were nowhere to be seen.
With the new dagger in his green hand, clutching it tightly, he repeated the same scene by backstabbing the creature.
A low cry escaped its mouth, but no amount of groaning could save its life.
Others were quick to pick up.
Their experience spoke wonders, and after decimating the last traitor, they had no problem slaughtering another.
However, Noa didn't wait for them.
He slashed at another monster, his motion cleaner than ever, and after the level-up, he felt slight improvements to his physiqueand mind alike.
Nothing extraordinary or groundbreaking, but it was welcomed nonetheless.
Half a minute later, he slaughtered five more, increasing the collection and enjoyment he got from the battle.
Unfortunately, his timer was up, meaning his puppet lost all energy.
Noa was back in his own body, feeling stronger than ever, but no matter how refreshed and energized he was, the number of goblins was too high to handle.
He blocked the dagger in front of him, then counterattacked and sliced another neck.
One more blade aimed at his heart, yet he still managed to intercept it.
It didn't end there.
Strikes arrived in waves, denying his charge, and one after another, wounds accumulated on his body until he finally succumbed to them.
The pain still lingered in his mind while darkness swallowed him.
[ You died ]
He was back in white space with a smile plastered on his face.
'I love this world.'
Despite the torment he experienced, Noa still embraced everything that happened to him in the last hour or so.
'Let's see my stats.'
His wait to learn his progress had ended, and he would check his notifications.
