Once caught, an instance of SCP-8975 is to be transferred to a 7x7x5 meter temporary holding chamber with reinforced steel walls. The amount of sustenance in the form of meat or fish that should be provided to an Instance of SCP-8975 is still pending.


All 4 of the presumed adult instances are 2-2.7 meters in height, 3-4.3 meters in length (with tail and spike included 6.7-8.8 meters), and 1.7-2.3 meters in width. Both infant instances are  0.9 meters in height, around 1.6 meters in length (with tail and spike included around 1.9 meters) and in width around 0.6 meters.


All subjects bear a resemblance in body structure to the house cat excluding the longer tail and detachable 50cm spike at the end of the tail. The fur coat of every instance, as well as the spikes and claws, are made up of an unknown metal alloy that instances can darken to absorb up to 100% of incoming light.
