As I looked at the list of options, I realized there was a lot more to consider since almost every bonus would be somewhat beneficial, except bonus 3, which would just be inconvenient and ridiculously tall.
After the initial excitement wore off, I got up from my bed and opened up my secret stash of snacks. After all, my brain would need extra energy for all this extra thinking. I opened the packet of pickle-flavoured chips (underrated btw, you should try some) and started munching on them as I focused on each option, and to my surprise, a secondary window opened with further details on each bonus. Except 3, because I wasn't interested in it.

As soon as I saw the eighth option, I started wondering if I already possessed the sacred gear and trying to remember how they described the process of awakening a sacred gear in the anime. I put the half-empty packet on the bedside table and lowered it into a horse-stance. I then curled my fingers and raised my hands up to my chest as I began to imagine 'ki' or some kind of energy gathering there. My closed eye squinted as my focus and emotions became more intense with me fully immersed in my imagination.
I then pushed both my hands forward when I felt like I had reached my mental limit and shouted, "GALICK GUN!"
Suddenly, a bright light emerged from the back of my hand. Scales seemed to form over it, and a bright purple gem emerged from it. The scales then rapidly grew and transformed into a black gauntlet that covered my hands up until just a bit after my wrist.
"KEEP IT DOWN HARUTO!" My mom yelled from downstairs due to my sudden shout.
I winced at possibly incurring her wrath and yelled back, "SORRY!" before quickly realizing that more shouting was probably not the way to go.
I just shook my head and decided to worry about it later as I was extremely curious about my gear and mentally pushed it to do something.
The Purple gem in the gear then glowed as I felt myself become stronger, faster, and smarter (thinking faster). My eyes widened in shock and recognition, 'I got a god damned Twice Critical. One of the most common sacred gears.'
I sighed and sat back down on my bed, and started munching on my pickle-flavored ships again, greatly disappointed at the very mid sacred gear I had and glad to have not blindly picked option 8.
Glancing at the purple system windows, I noticed that the 8th option was now different.
[8. Unlock Sacred Gear Balance Breaker and Sub-Species Balance Breaker.]
'Intresting.' I thought to myself, but ultimately, those were things that I could unlock with some training, so I decided to forgo it.
As I pondered over each of the options, I narrowed it down to either Emperor Eye or the Zone Toggle, both incredibly useful now and in the future. Staring at the sunset from my window, I felt an uncomfortable amount of sweat on my brow from all the overthinking and realizing I wasn't going to get anywhere like this, I just decided to flip a coin on it.
I pulled up an online coinflipper (couldn't be bothered to get an actual coin from my wallet all the way in my wardrobe) and saw that it landed on heads, meaning I picked option 4.
When I clicked on the Zone Toggle and then clicked Confirm, I felt a cold rush flow through my head as the power clicked into place, instinctively feeling the ability and the power to use it at will.
