[REPORT FILE: X-02]
DATE: [REDACTED]
SUBJECT: X-02 Emergency Deployment & Engagement Assessment
OBJECTIVES:
1. Assess battlefield conditions and rebel force advancements.
2. Deploy Subject X-02 as countermeasure against increasing resistance activity.
3. Measure combat execution efficiency in high-risk scenarios.
4. Evaluate limiter adjustments for optimal operational performance.

"They're adapting too fast. This isn't like before."
The command tent was filled with the sound of urgent voices, the flickering holographic map casting sharp blue light over the gathered officers. A grid of battle zones was displayed, and the rebel-controlled areas were spreading faster than they had anticipated.
One of the officers scrolled through recent reports, tension evident in his clenched jaw. "Their strategies have evolved. Coordinated strikes, proper chain of command, and tactical retreats instead of blind aggression. They're learning."
"This wasn't an issue when we had full control over every engagement," another officer interjected, glancing at the projection with a frown. "Our calculations indicated complete suppression within months. Yet, here we are."
"The rebels are not just surviving anymore," the lead officer muttered, voice edged with frustration. "They're winning battles."
A brief silence followed, each officer processing the grim reality. Then, a final decision was made. "We deploy X-02. Effective immediately."
---
Caleb's containment chamber pulsed with dim artificial light. Suspended within his pod, he was neither asleep nor awake-merely existing in the space between commands, between obedience and the remnants of a consciousness he refused to surrender.
A sudden influx of neural directives hit his system, forceful enough to pull him into full awareness. His eyes snapped open.
**Directive Update: Deployment Authorization Approved.**
He exhaled slowly, watching as his restraints retracted. The chamber disengaged, releasing him into the cold, sterile air of the facility. As his feet met the ground, a voice crackled over the intercom.
"Subject X-02, you are to be deployed immediately. Operational restraints remain in place unless combat efficiency demands override. Awaiting confirmation."
He flexed his fingers, rolling his shoulders as he processed the data flood outlining the situation. Growing resistance. Unforeseen strategic shifts. A battlefield that was beginning to slip beyond their control.
His role had not changed.
He was their solution to a problem. A weapon, nothing more.
"Requesting limiter reduction," he said evenly. "Full execution authorization."
A pause. Static hummed through the comms before the response came.
"Limiter adjustments under review. Stand by."
He waited, motionless, as the unseen overseers deliberated. Seconds stretched into minutes. Then-
"Limiter override granted. Execute at will."
His vision darkened for a moment as the additional restraints in his neural framework disengaged. A surge of power coiled through his limbs, controlled yet absolute.
With a final glance at the chamber behind him, at the lifeless silence beyond the glass where A-01 remained frozen in time, Caleb stepped forward.
Deployed once more to the battlefield. Once more into war.

OBSERVATIONS:
- Subject X-02 deployed with immediate response and compliance.
- Limiter removal approved under critical battlefield circumstances.
- No detected anomalies in cognitive processing or command adherence.
- Further analysis required on rebel advancements and adaptation rate.
