Study!
Smith muttered to himself, and then a more dazzling light emanated from his body. He felt an incredibly powerful force surging within him. If there were no surprises, this should be the legendary immortal power.
"Ding, do you want to spend 5,000 points to learn the third level of the Yu Zhang Immortal Method?"
The first level cost 1,000 points, the second level 2,000 points, and now the third level required 5,000 points?
Smith nodded thoughtfully but decided not to proceed with the third level just yet. He was still hesitant about whether to continue practicing the Yu Zhang Immortal Method or directly purchase godhood. But there was no rush—he would take his time.
"It seems you've directly mastered the second level," Zhongli remarked with a subtle expression. "I underestimated the capabilities of this guild."
"Yes, but the point requirements are quite high," Smith admitted. "Besides, I don't even know how much I've truly mastered yet."
As he spoke, a golden energy block formed in his right hand but soon dissipated.
"You've reached this level already?" Ganyu, though unfamiliar with the Yu Zhang Immortal Method, recognized its essence as an immortal.
Zhongli observed Smith for a moment before stating, "Your mastery of the second level is quite impressive. Compared to ordinary Adepti, you're already very powerful. If you acquire proper martial arts training, you might even surpass Keqing."
There were variations in strength among the Adepti. Gaining the Eye of God did not instantly elevate someone to supreme power—it required further development.
For example, both Keqing and Ningguang possessed the Eye of God, but in direct combat, Keqing could easily defeat several Ningguangs. Of course, Ningguang was not defenseless—if given time to prepare and leverage her vast resources, she could put up a formidable fight.
Keqing: "ヽ(o`皿o)?"
If anyone else had made that comment, she would have given them a piece of her mind.
"It is indeed a remarkable ability," Smith acknowledged. "This is a new function unlocked after the guild upgrade. In fact, you could also sell the Yu Zhang Immortal Method in the guild shop to earn points. I believe this is just one of many abilities the guild will continue to unlock in the future."
Keqing eyed the jade slip in Smith's hand with some hesitation. If possible, she wanted to learn the immortal arts as well. Despite her initial skepticism towards the Adepti, she couldn't ignore the benefits of their teachings.
Seeing her interest, Zhongli took out another jade slip and handed it to Smith. "This contains my martial arts techniques. You may find them useful."
"Ding, discovered the martial arts of the God of War Morax. Do you want to spend 1,000 points to gain basic mastery?"
Only 1,000 points? Smith accepted without hesitation.
He closed his eyes and internalized the contents of the jade slip. After a long moment, he opened them again. "I spent 1,000 points and have already attained a basic understanding. Morax's martial arts are incredibly refined—every weapon technique is honed to perfection."
"If we're only considering martial prowess and destructive capability, the current Electro Archon, Baalzebul, is not inferior to me. I can't really claim the title of Martial God anymore," Zhongli said, shaking his head. "The world we previously visited was quite dangerous. Can you provide more details about it?"
"Of course. I believe we'll return to the Naruto world in the future." Smith then elaborated on its background.
"So the energy I sensed from that child was Asura's chakra, and the presence watching me was the Sage of the Six Paths. He was likely observing from the Pure Land. No wonder the aura of the Reaper felt similar to his—it's possible that the Reaper itself was a creation of the Sage of the Six Paths," Zhongli mused. "This Sage is not to be taken lightly. If we revisit that world, we must proceed with caution. I can sense that he poses a genuine threat to me."
"Chakra is a fascinating energy," Smith agreed. "However, no matter how powerful someone becomes, their lifespan remains limited. After all, chakra is extracted from the body's cells."
There was much debate about the cause of Hashirama Senju's death. Some believed it was purely for the sake of the plot, but those familiar with the lore knew he had exhausted himself during his battles—particularly when sealing the Nine-Tails. His use of large-scale techniques depleted his chakra reserves to dangerous levels. Even as one of the strongest warriors below the Sage level, Hashirama died before reaching fifty.
"Emperor, that world has many interesting ninjutsu techniques. Can we learn from them?" Keqing asked, excitement in her eyes.
She had been particularly impressed by Minato Namikaze's space-time abilities. If she could master something similar, it would greatly enhance her efficiency in Liyue.
"The ninja world has endured thousands of years of warfare, leading to the development of countless powerful techniques," Zhongli noted. "During the Demon God War and even before that, many formidable beings existed. Most demon gods primarily relied on their innate power rather than techniques."
He gave Keqing a meaningful look. "Your fighting style already bears some resemblance to Minato Namikaze's. You should study Hokage battle techniques for inspiration."
"Yes!" Keqing responded eagerly.
"As for how to quickly improve your combat effectiveness," Zhongli continued, "my immortal arts are not suitable for you—at least not right now. You don't have enough points to spare. Instead, I suggest using your points to obtain the Eye of God, which will significantly enhance your strength."
Keqing and Ningguang nodded thoughtfully. Clearly, Smith had accumulated far more points than they had, possibly due to the privileges of being the guild president. However, they harbored no resentment—without Smith, they wouldn't have gained entry into the Dimension Guild in the first place.
Zhongli then turned to Smith. "Do you have any plans for the guild's future?"
"No concrete plans for now," Smith admitted. "If possible, I'd like to recruit the Wind Archon, the Grass Archon, the Hydro Archon, and the Electro Archon. But it's not the right time yet."
He thought about Raiden Ei. If he approached her now, she might just cut him down on sight.
For now, patience was key.
