During this period, Xiu remained a principled individual who adhered strictly to rules and regulations.
Moreover, his concern was valid. People from other time-spaces acting recklessly in the Golden Time-Space could cause massive disruptions to its order. Xiu would never allow such disorder to occur, nor would he be the one to cause it.
"Time-space order? But this isn't something we can control," Smith said as he flashed beside Xiu, placing a hand on his shoulder. The members of Dongchengwei reacted instantly, their expressions tense. "Are you still trying to control it now?" Smith asked with a smirk.
Xiu looked at Smith in shock. The women around him had combat power indexes on par with his own, but Smith's power far exceeded his. Where did this man come from? More importantly, could he be an old monster like the Godwalker?
"Do not stand in our way. The order of time and space will remain intact," Smith warned before turning to Keqing and Hu Tao. "The battle has already begun. Let's go!"
As Smith and his companions left, Ming turned to Xiu. "Xiu, what do we do now? The opponent's power..."
"It's beyond our capabilities," Xiu admitted bitterly. "When I faced him, I couldn't even raise my combat power index. His strength likely exceeds 40,000—maybe even 50,000 or more. If he truly wanted to intervene, Black Dragon wouldn't stand a chance. Now, all we can do is pray that his actions won't disrupt the time-space order."

Meanwhile, the battle had begun. Hu Tao eyed the Black Dragon, a being of pure destruction. "So this is demonic energy? It's much weaker than the demonic resentment I've encountered before. I should be able to purify it."
In the Rebirth Hall, dealing with corpses infected by demonic resentment was common. If left unchecked, they could cause enormous problems.
"Not all demons are the same," Smith explained. "Black Dragon is just a demonized supernatural walker, not a true demon. If he were a Demon Lord, even with a comparable combat power index, you wouldn't be able to cleanse his demonic nature."
Smith continued, "Black Dragon's combat power index is at least 40,000. If he succeeds in fully demonizing himself, it may increase even further. This will be a challenge for you."
"Got it!" Keqing's eyes gleamed with excitement.
Black Dragon was no saint. Eliminating him carried no guilt. Keqing hoped he would be as formidable as Tartaglia. Without hesitation, she and Hu Tao charged into battle.
Their sudden attack caught Black Dragon off guard.
"Combat power exceeding 30,000? You must be the ones I sensed earlier," Black Dragon sneered, though frustration flickered in his gaze.
If he had known about such strong warriors lurking in the Golden Time-Space, he would have eliminated them before they became a threat. Now, just as he reached a crucial moment in his transformation, they had appeared to ruin his plans.
Moreover, their age baffled him. How had such young fighters achieved such power?
"You're neither man nor monster," Keqing scoffed, attacking with her Rock Knot Green.
Hu Tao quickly followed suit. Though their combat power was slightly lower than Black Dragon's, they posed a significant challenge.

On the sidelines, Wang Dadong and his team were stunned. They had braced themselves for a desperate battle, even considering demonic possession as a last resort. But now, two girls their age were holding their own against Black Dragon.
"Why aren't they on the KO list?" Wang Dadong muttered. "Any one of them should be KO1. Maybe the real strong ones don't care about rankings at all."
"Wait, look at Wang Arthur!" Wang Dadong pointed at his friend, whose face was turning pale. Since their arrival, the Sword Demon had been exerting more control over him.
"Don't worry," a voice reassured them.
Smith appeared nearby, placing a hand on Wang Arthur's sword. Golden-green energy radiated from him.
His aura was strange—golden from the Yu Zhang technique, but also green, infused with the Grass God's power. While Smith had intentionally chosen the Grass God's path, the color still felt unnatural to him.
As Smith's aura enveloped Wang Arthur, the young warrior roared in pain. The Sword in the Stone emitted waves of dark energy, resisting the purification.
"Be careful!" Wang Dadong shouted. "That thing is dangerous! It took over Wang Arthur without resistance. If it corrupts you too, we're doomed!"
"Don't worry. It's just a sword demon," Smith chuckled.
With a flick of his wrist, he pulled the Sword in the Stone from Wang Arthur's grasp. As soon as the sword left his hands, Wang Arthur collapsed, drained of energy.
Now in Smith's grip, the sword pulsed with dark energy, attempting to corrupt him.
"Submit!" Smith commanded, his aura flaring.
The dark energy recoiled instantly. The once unruly Sword Demon was now utterly subdued, as lifeless as an ordinary blade.
Turning to Wang Dadong and the others, Smith smirked. "See? As long as you're strong enough, demons are nothing to fear."
