Failure didn't keep Naruto down for long.
Sitting in the basement of a rarely used church building inside of Vatican City, because those after him would never assume he would hide right under their collective noses, Naruto looked under a microscope as he used a scalpel to etch a magical circle into a glass marble. Naruto was being very careful with his work, since he needed to make quite a few of these to increase the quality of his work. His arms were a little shaky, but not shaky enough that he wouldn't be able to get the circle down on the marble.
Portable Slime Deployment.
Naruto had a limited supply of bottles and vials, so every slime that he produced had to be carried in them, so Naruto really needed to clear inventory space for future experiments. It would be a lot easier for him to store the slimes inside of marbles that he could just throw at people, and say a magic word to deploy the slime. He even got colored marbles so he could sort the different slime types he had created into them.
He only had 3 types, but whatever.
People underestimated how much hard work went into just the equipment that he had to create in order to hold the stuff. Naruto had to do minor enchanting magic on the bottles that held magical materials, and further strengthen the bottles that held slimes in them. Even now, Naruto was applying magical power into the magical circle that he carved into the marble.
Naruto already used a leather belt, and bought some Yugioh deck holders so that he could have something to sort the marbles into for easy access. Basic items for sure that could help him in the long run, and when enchanted with minor teleportation spells to that he could teleport the marbles back into their holders after he had released the slimes from them. He already finished enchancing the holders, and now he just needed to finish enhancing the marbles and applying the three spell circles to them.

"Hello... is there somebody down here, I noticed the light was on."
'Shit... shit balls, fuck me in the ass.' Naruto thought to himself as he turned his head, and he sighed in relief when he saw that it wasn't an exorcist that was coming down the stairs. Naruto could tell it was a woman's voice, and the voice was very gentle, so he didn't think he would have much trouble escaping if things came down to it. While he might not be able to beat Xenovia in strength, he was still a pretty well built guy, and normal women couldn't really hope to match him there. "Sup, I'm down here!" Naruto called out, since otherwise she was just going to turn the lights off on him.
He needed those lights on.
"Ah! Okay, you know Church service isn't until Sunday right?"
"Not part of the Church, don't worry though, I will be out of here way before then. Just needed a very quiet place to work for awhile." Naruto stated as he lifted his hand off of his work, and he waved off her concerns. He knew when church was going to be held next, so he knew exactly when he needed to escape from this place and move to his next hiding spot. "Whoops, Daddy dropped his scalpel, Pork can you bring Daddy his scalpel?"
Naruto accidentally threw his scalpel across the room when he waved at the girl, without looking at her.

Naruto recreated the potion that he used to turn Pork into his Orc form, but since that potion was incomplete, Naruto created a weaker version of the potion that turned Pork into a smaller version of the Orc form. Now standing at 3 feet instead of 7 feet, and having much less defined muscles, Pork the Orc could hold this form for about 3 hours in total before he was forced to go back into pig form. He was useful as an assistant in this form though, so Naruto put his child to work and had him sorting through his stuff for him.

When Pork gave him his scalpel, Naruto rubbed the top of his head between his pig ears. Pork enjoyed the attention, before he turned around and saw the girl who walked all the way down the stairs.

She seemed about his age as well, which was a major bonus since that meant that he could easily escape if he wanted to. Beautiful blond hair the same color as his own, and green eyes that was just as vibrant as his blue ones. She even had the same peach skin color as he had.
She looked like she could pass for his sister, and pretty damn easily to, since both blue and green eyes were recessive traits, it could easily be stated that their parents both had blue or green eyes and one took after one parent, and the other took after another.
"Wow, you are the first person I have ever met that looked so much like a girl version of me. Want to take a seat?" Naruto grinned as he offered a spot next to him, just for her. She seemed slightly taken back for a moment. "I'm about to start another experiment, and having another set of hands would be awesome." Naruto would make use of this girl.
Asia seemed even more surprised.
"You want my help for something... and... your arms!" Asia finally noticed the injuries on Naruto's arms. She saw that his arms were shaking visibly from the injuries, and Naruto just looked at his own arms when she pointed them out. The injuries were mostly healed now for some reason, but yeah they were pretty bad, and they might leave some scars.
"It's not a big deal, I was doing an experiment and just a little hurt is all. Don't concern yourself over it... eh?" Naruto saw her sit next to him, and two silver rings appeared on her fingers. She placed her hand over his arm, and a green light appearing on her hands, and then bathed his arm in that same light. His arm began to visibly heal from the damage they had taken, and it didn't even take a full minute before she healed his arm and then started to heal the other one. "Oh, cool, you have a magical power. That's pretty cool, but like I said, you don't have to worry about me too much." Naruto could see that this stranger to him was genuinely concerned over his well being.
That was strange, but he could understand.
When he saw somebody in need, he felt concern for them as well, but he made it a point to try and avoid acting on his instincts. Every time he helped people, somehow things ended up going worse for him.
"There, all healed! Does it feel better?"
"Way better, want to stick around for the experiment?" Naruto took his book from his jacket and he started to bring out the materials that he was going to need for his experiment. Naruto even used a chemistry kit's bunsen burner. It was tiny and used for smaller scale experiments, but Asia seemed awed.
She rarely ever saw magic at work.
Since most magic was kept to select part of the church, and she wasn't part of that section, she never actually got chances to see magical experiments. She saw animal organs in jars, jars with strangely colored liquids in them, and plant parts were in jars. Naruto put half a bottle of water in a glass container over the burner, and got the water ready for an experiment.
"What are you making?" Asia asked as she looked at Naruto open a jar.
Her nose recoiled at the foul smelling liquid as Naruto added a small amount to the water of the experiment. With one hand, he wrote down what he was doing, listed the ingredients and the properties of each ingredient added.
"Don't know how it will turn out, but I'm going to be trying to make a potion that can be applied to people to increase their pleasure senses and dulls their ability to feel pain. It has multiple uses, but I plan to infuse this potion into future creations of mine." Naruto could already see it now. The future creatures that he could create with this could be game changers for his monsters.
Asia showed interest when Naruto reached into a jar and pulled out small eyeballs belonging to an animal that she didn't recognize, since the jar was JUST filled with eyeballs. While the water boiled and changed color as the added liquid to it mixed together, Naruto started to crush the eyeballs into a fine paste.
"Why pleasure though?" Asia innocently asked.

Not only does Pork, by instinct, feel attachment to me, but adding my hair allows his form to take on the form he would have if he was more human." Naruto explained the purpose of adding his hair to a good amount of his potions. Human hair was useful since it allowed potions to see the different between the human form and it would change how things affected humans compared to plants and animals.
Asia barely understood that, but what little she did understand sounded impressive to her, so she nodded her head and just sat patiently, watching Naruto work. Naruto mixed together several different fluids into a water bottle, and he passed it to Asia.
"Shake this until the fluid turns purple, and I'm not talking just any purple, but a very bright, neon purple that gives off a light glow. Anything else will make the potion explode." Naruto stated to her as he closed the lid on the bottle. Asia looked surprised for a moment, before she took the bottle in both of her hands and started to shake it up and down.

"Of course it is, it's why Mages uses never use potions. It takes some real stamina and a firm body to be able to make the harder potions that need some serious physical work to be put into it. Once I needed to produce a lot of sweat for a potion, so I had to do push ups until I was dripping with it." Naruto gestured to the bottle of sweat. Naruto grabbed the bottle and opened it up, and even though she was expecting a body odor smell, Asia was surprised when she smelled peppermint instead. "I saw that surprise, most potions I use require peppermint since it has great enhancement qualities to it. So I have a jar of Peppermint-infused Sweat, Peppermint-infused Rattlesnake venom, and Peppermint-infused peppermint water."
"Peppermint infused... peppermint water?"
"I know, do you know how weird it is to infuse somebody with it's own qualities? That water is more peppermint than water." Naruto grinned to himself at that one. He added the sweat to his part of the potion, and when he stirred it up, Asia expected something to happen. Instead though, the potion stayed the same color and all that changed was the smoke coming out of the potion changed from clear to a light grey color.
-2 Hours Later-
"-and here we have it." Naruto stated as he held up a vial of a thick and creamy purple potion, and Asia had worked up a sweat. Her arms were visibly shaking slightly from the amount of effort that she had to put into working to help him.
Asia looked at the dark purple potion.
"You made something else too?" Asia asked.
"The Anti-Potion you could say, I made it to neutralize the effects of this potion. Since I don't know how long the effects would last otherwise. It would really suck if they were permanent. So, want to be my test subject with me?" Naruto asked as he got a rubber glove on and took some of the potion out of the bottle. He rubbed some on his own arm and rubbed it into his skin until the purple was all gone, and only his skin remained.
"You're testing it on yourself?" Asia asked him in surprise.
"Well, yeah, for potions like this I need to see if they are safe for others. Ah... yep, I can feel that taking effect." Naruto stated as he felt a sudden increase of pleasure just from the slight breeze of the AC pointing in their direction. He only felt the increase in the spot he applied the potion, which meant that he had succeeded there.

Naruto asked her, as he scratched his other cheek with some awkwardness.
He kept trying to make friends, but people were always freaked out by his experiments, since he was so passionate about them that he had too much trouble hiding them.
