Chapter 14 - Meditation

Another revelation had hit hard as always. What made him shiver wasn't the fact that the relic [Rashin] described his name, but because the other two relics.

'I had a guess that this relic was meant to be my name... but, those two relics are scary.'

Silent: "Wait, wait! How could thirst and hunger be scary?"

Those two relics were so friendly. They calculated his thirst and hunger readings. What in the hell is scary about those relics?

Well, in his current situation... It's really frightening!

Not being able to lift his head off the pillow, a mere punch through the air can cause his death so easily, his fragile body, and his corrupted mind. He won't be even able to move, let aside standing up and go out hunting, drink water, cook and then finally eat... simply, It's terror!

5 hours had passed since his first wake-up in this accursed hell. He accumulated 160 deaths, got a total of 20.6 SP, got the curse of the first flaw, got the psychic enhancement and finally being certain that the relic [Rashin] resembled his name.

The real problem was thirst and hunger.

Fortunately, now the most mysterious relic has been uncovered. The young man's name in the trial was none other than... Rashin.

The unfolded truth is slowly shedding the light on itself.

'This problem won't take long, right?'

"Yes... Cough! Rashin..." Being chained in that fragile body with a corrupted mind and still self-disciplining himself shows how strong of a will the young man has... or now, he is Rashin.

Clank! Clank! Clank!

'Huh?! That fight hasn't finished yet! After all of this time?!'

Sounds of clashing swords, two swords of fighters, or whatever they were, were fighting each other in a fierce battle outside of Rashin's cracked, burned, devoured by time, wooden room.

Rashin was at such a high level of confusion.

He heard the same clash 5 hours ago before he even had started his first self-slaughtering session. It's logical to assume that they have monstrous stamina for them to be able to fight for 5 hours continuously.

In fact, their clash hadn't stopped even for a second once it had started, but Rashin was fully concentrated on accumulating as many deaths as he could, causing their clashing noises like clanging swords and war cries to have fully vanished even from his corrupted mind.

'Strange...'

Surrendering to his state of comprehension, Rashin smiled, calming his mind and relaxing his body which was both shattered from head to toe.

Staring at the unchanged, fixed relics, thinking if he wouldn't be able to reach that zero SP. What if he really couldn't, forcing him to stay as he is for eternity?

'Hehe, but what if I could?!' With this thought in his corrupted mind, Rashin tensed his cheeks, smiling wider as his lips formed an arch on his paled face. He was not going to stay still, he was not going to surrender, he was not going to give up...

'One day, I will be in your place... Just wait for me!' Glancing at the opened window which the sound of those two warriors' clash had penetrated through. He meant being in their place fighting like a real warrior, not just a fallen corpse who gets killed with a mere below-normal punch!

Rashin Felt surges of discipline and adrenaline flowing in his veins. A third session of self-murdering is about to begin!

But first, Rashin chose to calm his mind a bit more. Perhaps it would make his thoughts more clear in order to be able to continue for a longer margin of time... To increase his chances of surviving in this hell.

Rashin closed his half-opened eyes and tried to calm himself as much as he could.

'Inner peace... That's what I need the most.' Feeling he was about to be immersed in his relaxation, Rashin felt his soaring pain was slowly fading away. It didn't disappear, that would be impossible, but his full focus on calming himself forced his corrupted mind to ignore that pain until he was finished.

Closing his eyes completely, utter darkness devoured his vision, echoes of swords' clangor, Rashin became fully engaged in his relaxation or rather... It was meditation.

Eventually, he became like a real fallen corpse would be.

In the vast expanse of Rashin's subconsciousness, immersed in his meditation state to the best he could. Out of absolutely nowhere, A purple-colored particle initiated its formation in his mind's domain. Rashin didn't give a damn and maintained his concentration on meditation as if nothing happened.

Soon, another one of those purple particles appeared. It was the exact same size and had the same glowing brightness as the former one too. The two particles hovered at the same height beside each other, maintaining a descent distance in between.

'This feeling is the best...' Indeed. His state was far from being called destroyed. He was shattered and corrupted.

Nightmarish hell chaining him inside a fragile body. Only now did he feel a bit of warming sensation from within.

Decreasing the distance between them, the two particles slowly attracted each other towards the center in between. Like a strange magnetic force was pulling them in the middle. Closing the gap between them as Rashin continued his meditation, unaware of the magic that was happening in his subconscious domain.

Both the two particles touched the surface of their spherical bodies, colliding into themselves, becoming one particle in the process with a slight size difference as it was a bit larger, but not recognizable at first glance.

Still, Rashin was emerged in his meditation without a nerve giving a bit of attention to those particles... or now, it's only one.

Shortly after, another particle existed within his domain, away from the former particle by a descent distance too... and it slowly started its displacement towards the larger particle. This time, the speed of the former particle was a bit slower than the newborn particle which made a lot of sense.

***

Nearly 10 minutes had passed and only now did Rashin finally finish his mind relaxation. Sighing in relief as his eyes slowly began to open their arches. His soaring pain found its gateway to the roof of his senses.

Rashin returned to his usual state!

And not only that... He was different!

A slight difference had taken place in his head... especially his corrupted mind.

It became a bit sharper!

He couldn't know how but found a conclusion that his meditation was the reason behind it.

Glancing at the SP relic and willed to expand it so that he could plan what to do next... and what his next goal would be.

[Main Quest: Reach 0 SP!]

[Current SP: 999,979.3 SP]

'Hmm! Am I hallucinating? I remember it was only ( .4 SP)...'

Before he could grasp that surprise that flashed under his line of sight, another revelation came to worsen the situation...

[10 Minutes has passed!]

[Minimum SP concluded!]

[A new reward shall be granted!]
