Chapter 30 - Fight of the Sacred Waterfalls (4)

<2 Minutes earlier>

While Spiren was on his knees, completely unable to stand up, the Mantis sheathed one of his daggers and stared at him. This time was a serious one. Parmas looked at him dead in the eye and asked:

"Where... is he?" Spiren looked at him with hatred, Breathing heavily and healing himself at the same time. He just raised his head and met the Mantis's eyes. Now, Spiren was calm and more likely feeling a bit of sorrow... not just a bit, it was well written on his face.

"Why? Why are you chasing a dead man? TELL ME?" Parmas didn't open his mouth and waited a couple of seconds until he spoke again.

"Because I know that he isn't." Parmas, for the first time in a while, said in an even and calm tone.

"You know nothing. You didn't see his own blood scattered everywhere. You didn't see him starving and eating his own flesh to survive. You know nothing about him... and you will never know."

Spiren said with his eyes became a bit watery.

On the other hand, Parmas smiled and took some steps, reaching the fallen Sacred Slayer.

"You are talking... like you aren't one of them. Hehehehehehe." Spiren's eyes widened! Not because of shock revelation or something like this. No, it was out of anger and fury.

"you... WILL PAY FOR THIS!"

As the door was pushed open and an anonymous hand emerged from the darkness that swallowed every moonlight that was present in this sacred region, A third voice resounded in the whole area.

"Who... The fuck are you... to disturb my sleep?"

Parmas smiled and his lips curled upwards while tilting his head backward, a hint of feeling victorious of what he was looking for. In fact, what he was looking for came to him on his own two legs.

Spiren stared in shock and happiness for an anonymous reason... at least for now.

As the hand emerged from the darkness, gripping the side of the door with some destructive force, the silhouette's leg took a step out of the domain of shadows and his other hand emerged and took a breath under the calm moonlight.

Spiren widened in shock! He never expected that person to come out of that place... out of that wooden house.

Soon, the figure's hair came under the moonlight and after that, his whole body followed it. That person was wearing an unzipped red jacket with red long trousers that reached his heel with red hair.

On his torso, there was some solidified matter, its color was red too and that matter reached both of his arms for a bit.

"Finally! Hehehe hahahahahaha... you showed yourself." Parmas said while laughing and licking his dagger like a mad scientist.

The anonymous figure walked a decent distance until he reached near them but he still was a bit far from both of them.

"R... Ra..." Spiren fell in utter shock. He couldn't even slip that simple and single word out of mouth's ridge. The red silhouette looked at the fallen warrior and said in an even tone:

"You... are injured. Your looks towards me... are you expecting me to help?" Spiren broke his shock state and looked down, not daring to meet that person's eyes once again.

"And you... you must be the cause of my irritation. You disturbed my sleep."

Parmas looked at him with pure mock.

"Disturb your sleep?! Don't make me laugh, hahahahahaha." Parmas laughed. He only laughed. Spiren took his place and spoke with... a huge revelation!

"R-Rashin! Show him what you are made of."

Silent: "R-Rashin?!! Huh?!!"

Suddenly, the red silhouette smiled and looked at him, his eyes were blacked out.

"You... know me! Well, no need to tell me. I will do that anyway." And then, he raised his head facing the soft moonlight, making his eyes appear for the first time.

His eyes were the hunter ones which are always half closed. His hair was so long, like a curled forest branches around each other.

Yes, the red figure was indeed... Rashin!

"Hehehehe, enough. Time to kill... my main target."

Hahahahaha." Parmas laughed and declared the fight on Rashin. This time, Rashin, without a doubt, joined the fight of the sacred waterfalls!

"As you wish, Intruder!" Parmas looked at him with perplexity, but he didn't care about anything except for killing Rashin once and for all.

Rashin forwarded both of his arms with his fists taking the shape of a claw, bending his arms with the center being his elbows. Making a right angle within his arms, Rashin uttered two words that none of them heard.

Parmas didn't bother to unsheathe his second dagger as one of them was totally enough to kill that weak, pathetic... opponent! Suddenly, the Mantis's eyes widened as there was a blow harrowing towards his face. It was only a breadth of a hair away from striking at his face, but he could dodge it at the last moment.

Shocked, he stared at Rashin and saw his figure in front of him. Soon, Parmas realized that his hands were different from where he had grabbed the wooden door. It was reinforced with something unusual!

"Gauntlets? You are in position of a weapon?!!!" In an instant, another blow was shot. This time it wasn't at his face, but on his legs from below. Wait! How would Rashin attack the Mantis's legs with his hands? He would be dead when he even thinks about doing this!

"You! HOW MANY WEAPONS DO YOU HAVE?!!!" The truth is, Rashin didn't use his hands or rather his gauntlets. Instead, he attacked with his right leg, drawing a small arch on the ground until it struck his opponent's left leg from the side. It was just like the gauntlets... Warboots!

Parmas tried to resist this sudden attack but his attempt went in vain as he found himself trembling and falling to the ground with nothing to support him and get up again.

Spiren from afar, still lying on his knees unable to stand up from pain, but he totally ignored that pain and even ignored his healing process and watched the fight... dumbfounded!

'Rashin... I knew you would be strong... But to be this strong! I still can't imagine how you summoned those gauntlets! They made you a monster. They should get ready for what is about to come.'
