Chapter 7 - The Aftermath – Wounds of War and the Prison of Lost Glory

The remaining gods assembled in the destroyed hallowed ground after battle elements had dissipated into mourning silence. The atmosphere carried both deep unhappiness and historical sorrow that exposed the severe wounds suffered by all present. The First who had always played the part of stoic keeper spent his time healing the physical injuries and emotional wounds that afflicted his family. The Fourth suffered the most severe injuries as his complete body now displayed permanent traces of his mental scars. His conflict-related loss of right eye created an everlasting symbolic connection between his visual disability and the forced voicelessness from the mystic seals applied after his power run amok.

The aftermath resulted in a hidden directive passed by both fearful and remorseful minds. The Fourth's complete power was considered too dangerous for cosmos stability only because of its overwhelming unpredictability. A mystical prison entered existence deep below the castle to both punish and protect the Fourth. The Fourth was sealed in a secure chamber which became accessible solely to the First, Second, Third and the completely innocent twentieth mind. The deity spent thousands of years in solitary confinement as a warning about the terrible risks of uncontrolled passion that divide birth from destruction.

The lonesome void did not erase all signs of life from his spirit. While in seclusion the Fourth focused his mind on understanding his power loss as well as finding a way to repent. He discovered during his soul-healing process through relentless thinking that both his suffering served as a curse and a catalyst which could one day lead him to transform sorrow into new beginnings.
