Anna remained where she was, as she was and motionless. But she thought that they must not be very intelligent. It was obvious that she knew. That didn't change the fact that she was stuck with animals. Quite the opposite. It highlighted that horrible reality.
"She did me a favor. She ended the family discussion about how and when to reveal this to you. However... There's one more important thing you should know. No human who knows our secret leaves my watch alive."
Anna raised her head and glared at him with all the contempt she could muster.
"Then I should try to run away. I'm not going to lie down with a... Big dog. A ferocious, violent, unfeeling animal..."
Adam grabbed her arm with astonishing speed, there was no longer any reason to hold back his abilities in her presence, and forced her to her feet.
"You're going to have that big dog between your legs tonight! We have no reason to put this off any longer." He said and released her with a shove. "You seemed very comfortable when the big dog between your legs was my father." He said without emotion, but stared at Anna with a cutting gaze.
"You... Will you finish it later?"
"Finish?"
"Yes. Make me eat grass by the roots, as someone once told me..."
Adam became thoughtful.
"I'm sure you'll want more after I'm done."
"I don't doubt that. And that's why I prefer death. I can't be the lover of a... monster."
Adam was silent for a few seconds.
"If you don't please me, you won't be the slut of just one monster, but of four monsters. And if you defy me by taking your own life, I'll turn you into a monster too."
Anna felt hot tears running down her face.
"Isn't there a good option for me?" She asked with a sore throat.
"There is. Relax and have orgasms." He said and went to the door. "Take a shower, Anna. After tonight you won't be called a girl anymore." He said and left.
Anna let herself fall to the floor in tears. She didn't even notice when Jenna came in, sorted clothes for her, and helped her up and into the bathroom. Jenna scrubbed Anna's body and washed her hair. Then she sat her on the bed, wrapped her in a towel and brushed her hair.
At no point did Anna stop crying.
When Jenna had finished, she stood in front of Anna.
"Put on the clothes on the bed."
Anna stood up and obeyed, still oblivious to what was really going on.
"I'll bring you a green drink, you mustn't drink even a drop of it. You can drink from any bottle in the glass case in this room." She said and waited for Anna to look at her, to make sure she was being heard, and took out a bag with something green in it and held it out to Anna. "Put this in the green drink. Adam always likes to drink this before..."
Anna took the sachet and after meditating for a few seconds, turned to Jenna.
"I have a better idea."
"It's not poison, Anna. On you, it'll make you feel horrible cramps and humiliated that you can't get out of the bathroom."
"And what will happen to 'it'?" Anna asked in disgust.
Jenna looked at her pityingly.
"If he drinks it all... That amount could kill him for a while."
Anna stared at her uncomprehendingly.
"For a while?"
"An Alpha isn't easy to kill. That was the poison that killed Allister, but even he, who was a Gamma, needed many months of ingesting that poison to die. Adam, you can sleep for a few minutes or a few days."
"Did you put it in Allister's food?"
"No. It was a witch's maid, who believed that Allister was hurting Suzy and outraged by this, she..."

Jenna put the tray on the table in the corner of the room and turned to Anna.
"Maybe it's not so bad. I... Give me back the medicine I gave you. Neither of us will be safe with that attitude and..."
Anna turned to Jenna. Her expression was exactly what it should always have been, but her father had sold her the right to it, the expression of a young woman who was unprotected, helpless and confused. She opened her hand with the small package carrying the herb and when Jenna reached out to take it, she closed her hand.
"I don't know why I said that, I don't want to kill Adam, but I'm scared. He thinks I'm experienced, he believes I got into bed with his father and..."
Jenna put her hand to her mouth and her eyes were haunted.

Anna lowered her eyes. She felt her face burn with shame and remained silent. The silence said much more than her words.
