So, I was sitting in my room and my door open. My mom came rushing inside and told me someone had called; I was shocked because her expression scared me to death.
I was like what? I mean, my face fell off after all. When my mom came with that expression, my heartbeat began to beat fast like it was about to explode.
Whenever I hear something, my mind starts running in a negative direction, never in a positive, because I know how lucky I am when it comes to problems.
I am always lucky with problems and all the outcomes on the table are always turned towards me because problems are in love with me.
Obviously, I am the magnet which attracts all the problems so definitely when she came and told me I was surprised and I saw my dad holding his phone and I was holding my heartbeat, the phone was on speaker, and just as soon I heard they were exchanging few words everyone in the house was on serious state and the person on the other end began to inquiry and then they said that we were delighted to announce that.
Stephania Ivy Alonzo has been selected to be the first candidate from our college to present at the China Association.
I was like, they could have come in with a better idea,, but I didn't blame them. They have also got short notice on preparing this.
So, as my dad and mom heard I was praying that they would be happy and wouldn't be cross-questioning if and guess what they were happy
They were good, but somewhere, they were concerned because I would be going all alone. So they discussed many more things. My faculty told them not to worry; she would be going to Delhi, and then she would be meeting other students out there.
There will be a gathering in Delhi, then to China; my mom and dad will be a little bit happy, but still, they were concerned again.
Not because of a foreign country but because of expenses, so definitely, my parents were worried and concerned.
But that also my faculty, explain to them that don't worry, mam and sir everything will be under control. I was happy when I saw them finally being happy with zero concern.
So, after a long one-hour discussion, they accepted and allowed me to; my mom was so delighted and so happy that she wanted to share this news with my family like a news reporter, but I refused and told her not to.
Not Now until I reach there because you know evil eyes are there for everyone, and I don't want this to affect and take over everything from me. So even after my mom, I also clearly instructed my dad not to reveal a single word of it. This should be within the walls.
Then, we had dinner, and then we decided that we would go shopping tomorrow because, yes, I needed to buy some good dresses for myself.
My mom and dad were supposed to go together, but I decided to go with my Mom because dad couldn't go. Yeah! I know he can't walk.
Obviously, you know his condition, but still, he decided to stay at home. He wanted to join us but could not due to his medical condition.
My brother was at home.
My brother wasn't a little bit suspicious, but that didn't stop him. He was completely convinced and I decided to reveal the truth to him but later for sure.
When I went to sleep, I couldn't stop but thank God again and again because everything was planned according to the plan.
I checked the mail, and everything was good; the person called, whom I met in the Globalvel app.
"Send me the ticket next week" I told him.
Next week, I will be flying off to the overseas.
And then I thank god. It was not something.
I was expecting it. I really thought that my chances were low for going that's was 1% and 99% was not going.
But God made it possible finally. Something good is going to happen to me.
I know that I'm gonna mess it up and everything can be taken out, but the fact is that I am not scared but I'm happy that I will be getting a chance to go there as a nominated.
