'This world is bluish and dark. There are also modern building ruins everywhere. The sky also has weird patterns and as if it's too close to the ground. As if I am underwater.'
I saw some fish swin passed me.
"I'm umderwater."
I tried to swin but I can't seems to be able to swim. The water around me doesn't move as I struggle. As if I weren't here at all. As if I can't touch anything at all. I can't feel anything either. But I am still touching the ground.
'The top half of this building seems to be over water I'll just teleport on the top of that.'
I used the camera and zoomed on the top of the building and after I removed the camera, I am on top of it.
"So this is the power of this camera."
I looked around the world around me. It was surely a city but almost every building are submerged in water. The only ones left are tall buildings and skyscrapers.
'I expected to see some human corpse but it seems there's none at all.'
There's a small boat sailing near the building in front of me. I used the camera again and teleport on the boat.
There's a girl who looks around 12 alone on the boat with some foods and supplies. I even thought she was the only person in this world for a while.
"Hey, kid"
I tried calling her but she doesn't seems to be able to hear me. Af if I weren't here at all. Maybe I'm not physically here after all.
I decided to follow her in her boat for a while.
After sailing for a few mins she stopped near the building one the small hill which is seems to be a mall. She went inside it. The mall is about five stories tall but only the top one is on the water. She swim inside the mall and I followed her. Since I can't seems to be able to swim, I just decided to walk underwater.
There are some items floating on the water but she doesn't seems to care them at all.
She dived into the water and search for a while. After that she came back to the surface to breathe and then move to the next room.
In the next room there are some cup noodles floating on the water. She smiled for first time since I met her and begin putting cup noodles in he bag. After that, she seems to be satisfied and went back to her boat.
'Is she really the only one here?' I said to myself wondering where everyone else in this world is.
I continue following her to her boat. She start rowing her boat again and heading to a particular direction.
After a while she stopped at the building that is five storied above the water. It is already evening when she reached this building. She grabbed the supplies and went straight to the top of the building.
'How could a small girl carries that much supplies to five floors alone.' I mutter myself.
She seems to be a quite strong one.
After we reached the top of the building, there is a tent on the top of it and some furnitures. There are also many food supplies over here.
She use a gas stove to boil the cup noodles.
'Since she use the very water to boil them, it seems to be fresh water.'
After the noodles are cooked, she ate them while watching the sunset. I also watch the sunset with her. The sunset here is truely beautiful across the setting sunlight hitting the horizon of water in the submerged city.
"Who would've thought sunset in the sunken world could be this beautiful."
As soon as I said that she looled at my direction as if she could hear me. She turn away after being froze for a while and continue watching a sunset while finishing her cup noodles. And then she went inside her tent and fell asleep.
"Honestly, you could just use the room inside the building you know." I said it to her as if she could hear me. But did she reallt hear me?
I use the camera teleporting around the top of the tall building looking for any sign of life for the whole night but it was futile. There is no sign of life except for her.
"At least I could enjoy the starry night sky."
Since there is no more artificial night lights and the night is also clear of clouds, I could clearly see the stars in the night sky.
I decided to check up on her again and when I reached to her tent back, it's already been morning. She seems to be awake but she is still lazing in her bed.
"Well you are alone but still doing fine."
"I wonder how could I return to my world?"
As soon as I think about it the strange door appear behind me. I decided it's time for me to go back now and opened the door. There's only bright white light inside it.
Then she rushed toward the door. I'm sure she could see the door. She is confused about the strange door mysterious appearing near her. She is just forze and standing in front of the door.
I tried touching her shoulder and strangely I could touch her now. I was just like a ghost not being able to touch anything except for ground before. She was surprised and immidietly looked behind her and looked at my eyes.
Without thinking further, I pushed her inside the door. And then I also followed her inside the door afterward.
