Chapter 8 - The Marriage

In Jwalana Kingdom, Abhiveera was reading the letter came from Aaro. His family members were sitting arround him, waiting for him to tell what is written in the letter. Is it yes or no?

As he read the letter, a smiled appeared on his lips. When he was done reading, He put the letter down and looked at his family members who were eagerly waiting to know what is the answer from Aaro kingdom. Will they be able to meet the princess and make her their family member?

"Father, what is written in the letter? Did they accepted the proposal?" Ashwant asked.

"Yes. They accepted it." Abhiveera replied, smile wasn't leaving his face even if he tried to suppress it.

Hearing this, everyone smiled and looked at eachother. The happiness was filled in the room.

Raksheet was sitting next to his mother, with a sweet smile on his face. He was just thinking how his life will change after this marriage. Responsibility, a life partner, how will he manage this all? But with this all, he has a feeling. A feeling that everything will be fine. His mind was reminding him all the responsibilities he have to take care of after marriage, making him feel stressed but his heart was reassuring him that his marriage will bring so many good things for him. He was a bit worried but happy as well.

"Ah, so Viraaj choosed that Kumar family instead of us?" The king of Bayar kingdom 'Abel Bakshi' asked displeased.

The spy he sent to Aaro to keep an eye on chakravarthi family spoke. "Yes your majesty. King Abhiveera sent a marriage proposal of his grandson Raksheet for princess Ira and king Viraaj accepted it right away."

Abel clicked his tongue in annoyance "Such a bad decision. Does he like to suffer more and more? If he like to suffer then it's okay but he should spare his poor granddaughter. She don't deserve such a miserable life."

He sighed deeply and continued "I feel bad for that poor child. She should be here, in Bayar kingdom.....she belong here." His face turned severe and his eyes darkened as he said the last sentence. "Only we know how precious she is."

He stood up from his throne and walked towards a canvas. "Don't worry princess. I will give you what you deserve."

Surprisingly, There was Ira's painting on that canvas. The princess that never came infront of anyone, her painting is in the palace of Bayar kingdom who are their biggest enemy.

"Father! you said she will marry me! Now how can she marry someone else?!" The prince of Bayar kingdom 'Pavan Bakshi' yelled as he threw the chair near him.

Abel closed his eyes and took a deep breath "So what? I will indeed make her marry you. Even if she get married to that prince of Jwalana Kingdom, i will bring her here. Trust me. I am your father, i will do everything that can make you powerful and surpassing, even if i have to destroy someone's life. Let her marry him, it will only help us destroy our two biggest enemies at once."

Finally the day of marriage has come.

Ira was in her chamber. Getting ready for her marriage. Her maid's were helping her get ready. She was wearing a red-golden dress, looking glorious on her. It was so beautiful but heavy too. The jwellery was enhancing her beauty. Her necklace, wristlets, earings, nose pin, everything was covered with diamonds and gold. Her hair were tied up in a bun and she was wearing a red chunari on it. She was wearing a little more makeup than usual.

She was sitting infront of her dressing table and letting her maid's do whatever they want. She don't care how she is looking. The only thing which is roaming in her mind is she will leave today. She will leave her grandfather, her mother. Her everything. This all happiness which is filled in the kingdom is nothing infront of the pain she is bearing. Her grandfather's face was appearing infront of her eyes again and again. How will she live without him?

At the same time, knocked happened on the door. Everyone looked at the door and found Viraaj standing there with a smile on his face.

The maids quickly stood up. They greeted Viraaj before leaving the chamber, giving Ira and her grandfather some alone time.

Viraaj entered in chamber.

As Ira saw her grandfather, tears started to form in her eyes. She quickly stood up from her seat and hugged her grandfather.

Viraaj was controlling his emotions from a long time but after seeing Ira like this, in a bride dress, looking so beautiful and knowing she will leave today, he can't control himself anymore. His happiness, his proud, his smile, everything will leave today with Ira. The bird he pampered from so long will fly today, leaving him alone. But he can't stop her. Her freedom is waiting for her. Her life is waiting for her. She have to fly where her life is beautiful and happy. And that's more important than anything else. Finally she will have the life she deserve.

Ira was crying in his grandfather's embrace. Without caring about anything. She want this time to stop. She don't want anyone to come and tell her that she have leave now. She have to leave her grandfather. Her kingdom. Her grandfather's embrace is the safest place for her and she don't want to leave it. Even if the whole world turns against her, she know her grandfather will always be with her. But today, she have to leave him. Tears were flowing non stop and she was sobbing so badly.

Her grandfather didn't wanted her to be sad on the day of her freedom. Freedom from this kingdom who want her to be perfect. Freedom from the family who never loved and appreciated her. Freedom from the past, the memories that always hurted her, make her feel depressed.

He rubbed her back "Don't cry.....calm down. Today is your marriage, how can you cry like this? Huh?" He held her chin and made her look at him. "Let me see how beautiful you are looking today." He held Ira's shoulder and made her stand infront of him straight. "So beautiful. A beautiful bride like you should never cry. There should be a smile on your face not tears in your eyes." He wiped tears from her cheeks and kissed her forehead.

"G-Grandfather, i don't want to go. I d-don't want to go away from you." Ira said, tears flowing down from her eyes.

"I can understand my child. But you have to go. Don't worry about anything. I am always with you. Your grandfather will always be there for you. I will come to you whenever you need me or want to see me." Viraaj said with a smile even though his heart was aching.

"I-I know, but-" She burst into tears again.

Seeing her crying like this, Viraaj couldn't control his tears. He pulled her in his embrace and hugged tightly. Rubbing her back and placing kisses on her forehead.

"Don't be like this, you know this is the only way I can see you happy. Don't make it hard for me to let you go. Don't make me become selfish and stop you from embracing your happiness."

"Y-You are my happiness." Ira said inbetween her sobs.

Viraaj chuckled sadly on her reply "My dear, There are more things that give us happiness but you are not introduced to them."

He wiped the tears from his eyes and broke the hug. "Now, you should get ready. Look, your makeup is ruined because of crying. Marriage ceremony will start soon. I will send the maids in. Get ready, ok?"

Ira nod while wiping tears from her eyes. She wanted to hug him tightly but can't. The more she will cry infront of her grandfather, the more she will hurt him.

"Good. Come soon. I am waiting for you down stairs."

He hugged Ira one last time before leaving and kissed her forehead and went out.

Everyone was in marriage hall. Waiting for marriage ceremony to start. All the guests were enjoying the conversation with eachother and praising the decoration but eagerly waiting to see the bride. The youngest princess of Aaro kingdom whom no one saw yet.

Even though so many people had questions about her not showing up infront of them, no one dared to asked it. Dhishva is too strict and reserved person. He don't like to open up infront of other people. He is not a cruel tyrant but peoples are still scared of him because of the severe look on his face and the unforgiving nature of him towards the criminals and offenders.

The marriage hall was big, luxurious, decorated with red and golden colour of decoration. A big glassy Chandelier hanging in the centre of the hall. The stage for bride and groom was at the end of the hall, opposite to the door of hall with decoration of flowers.

At a side, Abhiveera and Viraaj were discussing something with each other.

Dhishva and Ashwant were sitting next to them.

All the Queens were busy with each other.

Veer and Veera were sitting at the corner, without showing any interest about the marriage. Giving weird looks to everyone who approached them.

Raksheet was sitting on his seat on the stage and his brother Ahil was standing next to him.

"Look, how good looking he is." Veera said, talking about Raksheet who was looking so good, sitting on his seat like a king. Wearing golden-red dress with groom's turban and jwellery. His facial features were so good and his body is well built and well shaped. His golden eyes were like fire and were looking arround the hall, observing everything. His dark brown red hairs were covered by the turban but some of his hair were out of the turban, landing on his shoulder. His light brown skin was so attractive with his shrap jawline. Any girl can fall in love with him at first sight.

"Hm" Veer replied.

"I would have married him instead of that Ira. A girl like her don't deserve to marry such a handsome prince. Especially when he is going to be a king! He is the crown prince! She is nothing but a burden for this family. How can she have such good luck?" Veera was so jealous and it was seen on her face.

"I know what you mean but control yourself. Don't create any scene or else grandfather and father both will throw us out. And after marriage they will make us regret our actions. So better sit here and let them do whatever they want. No need to go there." Veer warned his sister because he know his sister is short tempered and can do something stupid which will put both of them in trouble.

"Brother, the decoration is so beautiful, isn't it?" Ahil asked, roaming his eyes arround the marriage hall excitedly.

"Yes." Raksheet replied only in one word.

"I think your in-laws are good and kind. Everyone is so respectful, aren't they? Their hospitality is good too."

"Yes."

"Except that two brother and sister over there." Ahil pointed towards Veer and Veera. They were looking like a statues. They weren't moving or talking to anyone. "They are looking mean and rude. Grandfather told me they are twins. Both are weird. Look how they are glaring at everyone. May be they are not interested in this marriage. What do you think brother?"

"I don't know."

"Why are you giving such a short answers? I think you are also not interested in this marriage. If yes, then get up and give me your turban. I will be the groom and marry princess Ira." Ahil said jokingly.

"Shut up!" Raksheet whispered to Ahil, controlling himself from scolding his little annoying brother infront of everyone.

Ahil was controlling his laugh so badly that he can burst in laughter anytime.

"I asked you to stay with me because I wanted someone to be with me for moral support. Not to irritate me with your silly questions." Raksheet said, feeling annoyed.

"Brother, don't you want to get married? That's why you are looking annoyed?" Ahil asked with a serious look, making Raksheet believe him.

"It's not like that.....I am just a little nervous. I don't know what will happen next. Whatever grandfather told me about princess Ira, i am feeling nervous to meet her because of that. it's going to be awkward for me to face her." Raksheet was nervous. He is going to marry a girl whom he didn't met yet but heard about her from his grandfather. And after hearing what he told about her, Raksheet is more worried.

"Are you worried because she have health issues? And may be it can affect your future?" Ahil asked concern. He sat down next to Raksheet.

"May be. It can affect our kids. Our lineage. But.....i trust grandfather. He won't have asked me to do this if it's not good for our kingdom. I hope what I am worrying about will never happen. I hope everything will be alright." Raksheet said, hoping everything to be alright and as he want.

"Don't worry. Everything will be good." Ahil reassured Raksheet but he was concern too.
