The next day,he woke up a usual and was about to start cultivation again but he remembered what his mother told and immediately got out of his cultivation stance.It was not that he was afraid but he just wanted to show respect to his mother as she had always been kind to him and as a mother,she always thought of what was best for her children thus which made him refrain this day.
He went out and as always met her in the kitchen preparing breakfast for the family.He sat by her and asked if his father had returned but she said no which made him surprised.His father would always return the same day anytime a situation had risen.However,his mother soon continued
"Your dad said he will spend a couple of days at Exploration realm so he won't be coming home.He needed to sort out some minor issues before coming home,so he won't be coming home to give you cultivation guidance thus you are free in the period of his absence and should go out to play"
To any ten-year old who heard the word play would be extremely happy but Steve only contemplated a bit and said
"Then I'll be going to the mech simulation centre to train myself"
As if his mother expected this reply,she just nodded and gave him a kiss on the forehead before continuing her cooking.Steve waited at home for his mom to finish cooking and ate his food to feel energised before going out.However,before he went his mother gave him his father's share of the food and said he should pass by the military area to drop the food before going.He dropped it by a subordinate of his dad he trusted would surely pass the package as he wasn't allowed to enter naturally as a ten year old kid.
Then what would the citizens say about the military of planet Aurora;incompetent,uncivilized and indiscriminate thus he wasn't allowed in.He immediately checked his comm watch to find if any of his friends had arrived at the mech gaming centre and surely he found a naughty boy who always out of home to come and play these games.
Steve:Daniel please are you going home soon anytime from now as it is late in the morning.
Daniel:No,There is this new platform on the mech piloting section where I get to partake in real mech combats that occurred.Its about to be uploaded anytime from now so I want to stay and play.
Steve:That's great as I'm on my way there.But are you sure you have nothing to do?
Steve asked this question as he knew Daniel liked to sneak out of his house just to come and play the mech game when he hadn't even done anything at home.Daniels parents lived two houses away from ours thus we could see his doings .His parents always had to come and drag him home from here after finding him and they were who even forced him to cultivate or else he wouldn't.So this was naturally a normal question from his side.
Daniel:Of course yes,you can even call my mom as I have done all my chores.You can even call her to ask her if you want.
Steve was surprised from the boldness of Daniel that his mother can be called and confirmed.Steve and his other friends had always been the ones to tease him that they would call his parents and report where he was.But with he proposing the idea t call his parents himself,Steve knew this guy was surely speaking the truth.Thus he didn't even bother and continued
Steve:There's no need for that.You just wait for me there and I'll be there in the blink of an eye.
Daniel:I'm literally blinking non-stop so you better turn into the Wind Tredder and reach as you can.
Steve naturally knew of the Wind Tredder.He was someone had reached a degree of cultivation were he couldn't even begin to fathom.He just knew that the guy was just a terrifying monstrosity which other alien civilisation just hated to fight against.Hewas well known for his groundbreaking career in travelling just a bit faster than light.This was someone which low level people like him couldn't even communicate with not to talk of directly impersonating him
Steve:LOL,now stop the jokes.I'm on my way now so bye.
Daniel:Ok,bye
Steve then continued on his journey towards the gaming centre.It was located right in the middle of the city,Mondelvia.His house was kilometre away from the gaming centre which he should have boarded a transportation shuttle or train but he avoided or that just to walk around the city and observe the city with his naked eyes.Though he arrived at the location over thirty minutes late,he still appreciated it as he saw many wonderful things that made him just adore the peacefulness of his life.
He was quite matured for someone his age however that was because of how he witnessed the fall of his cousin some years back in one of those capital planets who had beings with great cultivation ranks.This was as lack of strength on the part of his cousins parents which resulted into such an outcome.Thus he vowed to become stronger for the same thing not to happen to him,his parents or anyone close to him as he took that encounter as a reminder and this was what he had grown into.A little ten-year boy who had the mindset of an adult.He shoved those thoughts into the back of his head and enterd the Simon's Gaming Corporation.
However upon entering the gaming centre,Steve was given an immediate shock with what he saw.
