CHAPTER 12
Mi Ran POV
Finally all the teams are done with work and already left so know we can leave, luckily is just 8:00pm my team members are already packing their stuffs ready to leave, I stood up and took my phone I put it in my bag and hang my bag on my shoulders, I sighed before I said "Annyeonghi gyeseyo(goodbye/to someone staying/formal)" non of them responded so I took that as a signal to just leave, as I walked out the door I only prayed for two things, one is to not meet president Kim and the second is to not meet Jung Soo-hyun, although he is nice, I think he is weird.
I walked out of the company and started walking down the streets hoping to find a taxi, I saw a taxi coming my way and I stopped it, I told the taxi driver the location of my apartment and he drove off, I look outside the window admiring the beauty of the streets at night, is beautiful and colorful I thought before I smiled a little, if only my life is colorful as this streets, my life will have been easier, leaving alone is not nice, but I try to force myself to believe it is, but actually deep down I always thought of what having a family will be like, it must be amazing I thought.
Every time I see a family walking down the streets together, I try to force myself to believe that they must have their own problems, they just won't show it, so leaving alone is much better, the only thing I think is cool now is being rich, getting to go to all that luxury restaurants, wearing luxury clothes, leaving in a luxury apartment, riding a luxury car, living a life of luxury, while thinking about that I didn't even realized I was smiling like an idiot.
"Ma'am we are here" the taxi driver shouted snapping me out of my thoughts, I paid him before I walked out of the taxi, I walked towards my apartment, the streets was dark due to no street lights, I think the bulbs spoiled but the landlord is too stingy to put on a new ones and she is here adding frustration to my already frustrated life, always asking me to pay the rent, wait till I get rich and move out of here that's when she will realize how important I am, I smiled evilly thinking of that.
I stopped on my tracks when I noticed something close to my apartment them, I looked closer and realized it was a human and the person seemed to be sitting, I walked closer and turned on my phones flashlight, I pointed the flashlight to the person direction, when u saw the person's face I turned off the flashlight immediately, it was my landlord, probably waiting for me to come back so she could ask me about the president, I walked slowly trying not to wake her up, I removed my keys from my bag and opened the door slowly, I walked in and closed the door behind me slowly, after I closed the door I released a breath I didn't know I was holding, hope she doesn't realize I am back, I walked into my living room and dropped my bag before I went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, I only had biscuits for lunch cause I didn't want to spend much, and all the foods there are so expensive, I opened my cupboard and all the cereals are finished I opened the freezer and they was nothing expect for two eggs and one cabbage, I sighed and opened the another cupboard and I found five cups of ramen, I sighed before I took one, at least this will last me two days before I figured out what to do, I prepared the ramen and went to my room to eat it.
After I entered my room I realized I left my phone in the living room, but I was too lazy to grab it so I sat on my bed and started eating the ramen, after I was done I dropped the bowl on the floor and lay down on the bed, I tried to sleep but I just couldn't I checked the clock in my room and it was 9:26pm, I wanted to sleep early so I could wake up early but seems like I can't, so I stood up and took the bowl of ramen and dragged my feet to the living room, I kept the bowl in the kitchen before I took my phone and sat on one of the couch, I turned my data on to watch some Tik Tok videos, I was about to enter the app when I saw a notification from kakaotalk, I looked at it to make sure my eyes isn't deceiving me, I had the app but I never really used it cause I had no one to chat with, I entered the app immediately I saw the notification and saw:
Unknown sender: hii 🙋
I immediately checked the person's bio and saw his profile pic, it was "jung Soo-hyun" I know this name somewhere I thought, when I remembered the owner of the name I sighed in disappointment, who was I expecting, "president Kim" a voice in my head said, I slapped my cheeks a little to stop thinking about that, cause I know it will never happen, I was about to ignore the message but I decided to reply it, he is the only friend I had anyway I saved his number before I replied
Mi Ran: hello
Immediately I replied I saw he had already seen it Aigoo was this guy waiting for me to reply
Jung Soo-hyun: how are you😊
Mi Ran: I am fine, U?
Jung Soo-hyun: same here😁
Mi Ran: that's nice to hear
Jung Soo-hyun: Soo what you doing?😆
Mi Ran:Isn't it obvious I am charting with you, that was what I was typing but I deleted it, why will he even ask that when I am obviously charting with him, I sighed a little before, I typed
Mi Ran: nothing much
Jung Soo-hyun: oh okay, Soo what's popping?😎
This guy really uses weird emojis, I thought.
Mi Ran: nothing much, I replied again.
Jung Soo-hyun: how was your first day at work, hoped you enjoyed it.
I didn't, that's was what I was about to reply but I decided against it so I said
Mi Ran: I did
I was trying to put an end to the conversation but this guy doesn't seems to get it
Jung Soo-hyun: do you have any questions, if you do feel free to ask😉

Mi Ran: i don't, goodnight I have to sleep early to wake up early tomorrow.
Jung Soo-hyun: oh okay, goodnight besty 😇.
I didn't reply cause I know if I did this guy will try to start a new conversation with me, I sighed before I turned off my Data and entered YouTube to watch tale of the nine tailed fox, I had to go offline for him to believe I am asleep, I was watching the movie and started feeling sleepy but I wanted to finish the episode before going to sleep…...
