Chapter 7 - 7. First Encounter ( first pov)

As they ventured deeper into the vast and shadowy ruins, they stumbled upon an ancient library, its towering shelves filled with forgotten tomes and scrolls that seemed to whisper secrets of a bygone era. The air in the room was thick with dust, but there was an undeniable aura of knowledge that clung to the place. She stood still for a moment, mesmerized by the sight, her eyes scanning the rows of books as though they held the answers to questions she had long kept hidden. With a determined look, she turned to him. "I need to know more about this forgotten family," she said, her voice low but filled with purpose. "This is the key to everything." Understanding the weight of her words, he nodded, though there was a lingering sense of uncertainty in the air. They knew that their paths had diverged here—she had to immerse herself in the knowledge that these books contained, while he would continue to explore the mysteries that lay beyond. With a final glance, they parted ways, the quiet rustle of pages turning the only sound in the vast emptiness of the forgotten library.

" She didn't say that, but that seems to have been her goal from the beginning. The library"

' if it is not about the strange sound in this place that seems familiar i would also visit it'

I could feel a strange change in my body. As if every cell in my body was beginning to resonate with the energy I had absorbed from the place. It was a mysterious feeling, yet at the same time, very powerful. Every step I took inside this place brought me closer to understanding a new power within me. Now, I could feel the energy surrounding me, and I felt it transfer into my body as if it was a part of me. This power seemed like something that had existed inside me since the beginning of time, but it had been hidden, and now it was beginning to emerge clearly.

However, I couldn't continue thinking about this power for long. There was something else in this place that caught my attention. It was a faint sound, moving through the area as if it were hiding in the shadows. I could hear it clearly, but sometimes it would fade away only to return, sparking my curiosity even more. The sound moved from the dark corners, as if someone or something was watching me, and I couldn't see its source.

Suddenly, a huge creature appeared before me. The monster in front of me was covered in dark shadows, its eyes glowing a deep red, as if they were burning with the same energy I had felt in my body. It seemed like the monster drew its strength from the shadows surrounding it, and everything in that moment appeared foggy to me. I could see the creature, but I felt like I couldn't see it clearly. Its eyes were like burning red stars, piercing the darkness and casting light on this entity that seemed like something born of nightmares.

[Alert! An enemy is nearby. Battle incoming. Prepare!]

Those words that appeared in my mind made my heart beat faster. I had imagined this day, the day I would have to face the deep forces of this world, but facing such a creature at the beginning was something I hadn't expected. I knew I couldn't escape this. I only had one choice ahead of me, and that was confrontation.

There was something strange inside me, something like fear, but also an irresistible passion. At first, I thought about running away, but something made me focus, to look at the monster and study every step it took. There was something deep inside me, as if I wasn't alone in this fight. Something in my body was telling me: "This is your moment."

My eyes fixed on the monster, and my ears tuned into every sound around me. The ground trembled under its feet, as if it were sharing its power with it. It was getting closer quickly, but all I could see was the red light emanating from its eyes, like a flame in the darkness, getting closer and closer.

I didn't have many options, and the first thing that came to my mind was to channel my energy to block the attack. I tried to gather my strength, focusing on what I had learned from this strange system in my mind. My mind was filled with thoughts, but I focused only on that moment. I tried to think about how to use the energy, how I could move faster. The power was in my hands, but I needed to know how to direct it.

When I raised my hand, I felt an extraordinary energy flowing through my body, as if it were spiraling around me. I instinctively controlled it and then launched it toward the monster in a focused strike. I wasn't sure about its strength, but fortunately, it was enough to repel it. The monster staggered back, but it quickly returned, as if the strike had no effect on it. It was laughing, and the sound coming from it was like deep whispers, as if it were unimpressed by my power.

[Skill acquired: Basic energy control. Level 1.]

This was the skill I had just acquired, and I could feel my body interacting with this power. I gathered my strength once more and was able to direct a new concentrated burst of energy at the monster. But this time, the strike was stronger, more intense. With the final attack, the monster exploded into pieces of shadow that emitted a dark red light and vanished into the air as if it were a mirage.

[Mission complete: Defeat the dark entity. +20 energy points.]

I took a deep breath, still in disbelief about what had just happened. I hadn't expected to be able to defeat this creature in my first encounter. I felt stronger now, but at the same time, I was aware that this was just the beginning. Dark creatures like this could be everywhere here, and every step might carry with it another threat.

[New mission: Explore the surrounding area. Discover hidden secrets.]

It was clear that I couldn't relax now. I felt like the place itself was watching me. It was the feeling that everything around me was silent, as if I was part of this larger mystery that I still didn't understand. The shadows around me moved in silence, as if they were holding secrets that hadn't yet been revealed.

At that moment, something else crossed my mind. I may be in a place full of dark and mysterious forces, but now I have the power to face these challenges. My heart was beating faster, as if every step I took brought me closer to something I hadn't expected yet, something that could change my destiny.

Was I ready for that? I don't think so, but I can't back down now.
