Chapter 17 - 22-30

Chapter 22 Gifts

"My two wives, I have a gift for you," Lin Yu said with a mysterious smile.

With a flourish, Lin Yu produced three items from his pocket: a radiant blue gem and two talismans, each bearing the intricate carving of a dog's and a horse's head.

"What are these?" Ai Haibara and Ran Mouri asked, their curiosity piqued as they examined the objects in Lin Yu's hand.

Lin Yu first placed the dog talisman and the horse talisman into Ai Haibara's outstretched palms and explained, "These are the Dog Talisman and the Horse Talisman. The Dog Talisman grants immortality and eternal youth, while the Horse Talisman can heal any injury or illness."

Hearing this, Ai Haibara's mouth fell open in astonishment. "This... this is incredible!" She gazed at the talismans in her hand in disbelief. "You're just giving me something this powerful? Horse, dog... I'm guessing there must be other talismans as well!"

"My wife is so clever. This set is called the Twelve Zodiac Talismans. There are twelve in total, each corresponding to a zodiac sign and possessing unique abilities. But for now, I only have these two," Lin Yu explained with a smile.

Lin Yu then gently activated the power of the talismans, and they dissolved into shimmering light, integrating seamlessly into Ai Haibara's body.

Ai Haibara's eyes widened as she watched the two talismans slowly vanish from her palms. She touched her hand curiously, but felt nothing out of the ordinary. However, at that precise moment, she suddenly realized that her perspective seemed to have shifted – she was taller.

Ai Haibara looked at Lin Yu in surprise, only to be met by his intensely lustful gaze. Two bright red streaks of blood had appeared beneath Lin Yu's nose, and his eyes gleamed with undisguised desire.

Following Lin Yu's gaze, Ai Haibara instantly understood the situation. Her face flushed crimson, and she angrily hissed, "You pervert!"

It turned out that both the Dog Talisman and the Horse Talisman possessed potent healing properties. As these two talismans merged with Ai Haibara's being, her body, which had been shrunk due to the effects of the APTX4869, was rapidly restored to its original adult form. However, caught completely off guard, Ai Haibara's transformation was instantaneous, and her child-sized clothes were unable to withstand the sudden change, tearing apart.

A significant expanse of fair skin was exposed, providing Lin Yu with an unexpected and alluring spectacle. He stared greedily at the beautiful sight before him, his eyes blazing with excitement.

Ai Haibara felt a wave of intense shyness and embarrassment wash over her. She hurriedly covered her body with her hands, desperately trying to conceal her exposed areas.

Seeing Ai Haibara's distress, Ran Mouri quickly rushed into the room, grabbed some of her own clothes, handed them to Ai, and said, "Ai, put these on first."

Ai Haibara took the offered clothes, glanced at Lin Yu with a hint of lingering embarrassment in her eyes, and quickly dressed. She thought to herself that this man was truly incorrigible.

Lin Yu saw that Ai Haibara was now clothed and the captivating view was obscured, but he wasn't overly concerned. There was plenty of time later in the evening, and he could patiently become more familiar with her then. A sly smile played on his lips at the thought.

Next, Lin Yu retrieved the radiant blue gem, the Broken Jade, from his pocket and presented it to Ran Mouri, saying, "Ran, this is for you."

"No, Yu, you should keep such a precious thing for yourself!" Although Ran Mouri didn't know the exact function of the blue gem, having just witnessed the power of the two talismans, she instinctively knew this gift must be extraordinary.

"Don't worry, Ran, nothing in this world can harm me," Lin Yu said gently, caressing Ran Mouri's head. He then slowly guided the Broken Jade into her body. However, unlike Aizen's Hogyoku, this Broken Jade was a product of the system and possessed exceptional quality. It lacked any dangerous self-awareness. Even if it had, Lin Yu would have ruthlessly eliminated it. He would never allow anything to endanger his beloved wives.

Ran Mouri looked down at her body curiously, trying to detect any changes, but no matter how closely she examined herself, she felt exactly the same as before.

Observing Ran Mouri's adorable confusion, Lin Yu couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Puchi, Ran, stop looking! The Broken Jade will grant you the ability to be immortal, and it can also continuously evolve. In the future, you might even be able to shatter a planet with a single punch!"

Chapter 23 Return to Dragon Ball World

"Lin Yu, it would have been great if you had shown up earlier!" Ai Haibara said dejectedly.

"What's wrong, wife?" Lin Yu frowned, his voice laced with concern.

"You said that if we had met earlier, my sister wouldn't have died, right?" Ai Haibara's eyes gradually glistened with moisture, tears welling up in their corners, threatening to spill.

"Don't cry, baby!" Lin Yu embraced Ai Haibara comfortingly, his voice soft and soothing. "Don't worry, honey, I will definitely find a way to revive her."

"Really? Don't lie to me!" Ai Haibara tilted her head up, looking at Lin Yu with tearful eyes, filled with both expectation and trust.

"Don't worry, when have I ever lied to you?" Lin Yu affectionately tapped the tip of Ai Haibara's nose.

"Yes, Ai-chan, I believe in Yu too," Ran Mouri added, her voice gentle. "He is very powerful. He will definitely find a way to revive Sister Akemi."

"Hmm..." Ai Haibara nodded slightly, a faint glimmer of hope flickering in her eyes.

Seeing this, Lin Yu quickly changed the subject. "Wife, you know, I'm not originally from this world. In my world, there's something called the Dragon Balls, which can grant any wish a person desires."

"Is it possible to resurrect the dead?" Ai Haibara asked expectantly.

"Of course! I remember that's how Bulma and I met... uh..." Lin Yu suddenly noticed the silence that had fallen over the room. Ai Haibara was staring at him with an expression that could curdle milk.

Ran Mouri sat quietly beside them, looking at him with a gentle, yet knowing, gaze.

"Wife, please listen to my explanation!" Lin Yu looked at Ai Haibara with a growing sense of dread.

However, Ai Haibara's fist shot out with surprising speed and force, connecting squarely with Lin Yu's face.

After a considerable amount of time, Lin Yu sat on the floor, sporting a bruised face and a bloody nose, looking thoroughly disheveled and pitiful.

"Tell me, what else are you hiding from us?" Ai Haibara demanded, her voice laced with obvious displeasure.

Lin Yu honestly recounted his experiences in the Dragon Ball world to both Ai Haibara and Ran Mouri, holding nothing back.

After listening to his tale, Ai Haibara's expression remained stormy. "Okay! So you already have a wife, but you still came here to mess with us. Humph, you really are a shameless playboy." She placed her hands on her hips indignantly, her eyes blazing with anger and disappointment.

Ran Mouri, sitting beside her, also wore a sad expression. She bit her lip tightly, and tears welled up in her eyes.

Ai Haibara continued angrily, "Ran, let's just ignore this guy." With that, she effectively banished Lin Yu from the room.

Lin Yu, now standing outside the closed door, sighed helplessly.

He knew that his revelations had upset them, but he hadn't wanted to keep such a significant part of his life a secret.

Lin Yu decided to give them some time to process everything and then find a suitable moment to explain himself more thoroughly.

His immediate plan was to return to his own world, gather the Dragon Balls, revive Akemi Miyano, and hopefully offer Ai Haibara a heartfelt surprise.

Lin Yu opened the group chat system mall, intending to purchase a time-travel talisman. However, upon entering the virtual marketplace, he was utterly astonished by the sheer volume and variety of goods on display.

"Damn, why is there so much stuff?!" Lin Yu's eyes widened as he took in the dazzling array of items. There were not only real-world objects like monster meat and fighter jets, but also a plethora of mystical talismans, including thunder talismans, talismans that could turn beans into soldiers, and many more.

What surprised Lin Yu even more was the sight of the Sword Manual of Exorcism! "Wait a minute, is there a sword manual for warding off evil in Tian Long Ba Bu?" he muttered to himself, his brow furrowed in confusion.

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: Everyone, Qiao has signed in and earned 100 points today. I'm truly lucky. I plan to head to Zui Xiang Lou for a few drinks, haha.]

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: Leader Qiao is so fortunate, but alas, I only received ten points for signing in.]

[Boil bones into soup: I haven't been short on points lately, so I sold some monster meat. I didn't expect the meat of these monsters to be so valuable.]

[Lin Yu: Yo! Hey everyone, long time no see.]

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: The group leader is online!] What have you been up to recently? We haven't seen you in ages!]

[Bone soup: +1]

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: +1]

[Lin Yu: Alas, I've been quite busy chasing after my wife recently. You wouldn't believe how beautiful she is. Her face is as flawless as a freshly peeled egg, and her figure…]

[The Girl from the Darkness: Husband, shut up. Are you itching to kneel on the durian again?]

[Lin Yu: Ahem, my dear wife, don't be angry, I was just joking. Look, I'm just chatting with you obediently, right?]

[The girl from the darkness: Humph, you've got some sense. If you dare to talk nonsense again, I'll show you exactly how I'll deal with you.]

[Lin Yu: I dare not, I dare not. Whatever my wife says is what I must do.]

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: Group leader, you are far too henpecked. A man should have some dignity.]

[Boil bones into soup: That's right, group leader, you'll be looked down upon if you carry on like this.]

[Lin Yu: What do you know? This is called respecting and loving your wife. Only in this way can your family be harmonious and happy.]

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: The group leader is right. Husband and wife should respect and understand each other for the relationship to last.]

[The Girl from the Darkness: Husband, you are awesome, I love you.]

[Lin Yu: Wife, I love you too.]

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: Oh my, I can't take this anymore. The dog food is all over the floor.]

[Boil bones into soup: That's right, the group leader and his wife are truly in love.]

[Maoshan Lin Fengjiao: By the way, we should give a red envelope to the group leader now that he's married.]

[Leader of the Beggars' Sect: Yes, yes, yes, I'll send it to you now.]

[Bone soup +1]

[Ding, I'll make soup out of bones and give you an exclusive red envelope.]

[Ding, the leader of the Beggars' Sect sends you an exclusive red envelope.]

[Ding, Maoshan Lin Fengjiao sends you an exclusive red envelope.]

Lin Yu eagerly opened the red envelopes.

[Ding, congratulations to the host for obtaining points]

Chapter 24: The Sixth Universe

Dragon Ball World.

Lin Yu excitedly pushed open the door to his room. Before he could utter a word, a pleasant voice greeted him, "Stinky brother, you're back!"

As the voice subsided, a purple-skinned girl gracefully emerged from the kitchen, a plate laden with fruit in her hands.

The girl's appearance instantly captured Lin Yu's attention. She possessed an elegant figure and a well-proportioned physique, particularly the ample curves of her chest, which Lin Yu found himself unable to look away from.

"Ahem... Sister, sister, have you seen Bulma? I asked her to help me build a Dragon Ball radar," Lin Yu said, forcing his gaze away with some effort.

Bardos glanced at Lin Yu and replied with a smile, "No, but what do you intend to do with the wishing orbs?"

Lin Yu scratched his head and chuckled. "Well... I want to make a wish."

Bardos couldn't help but laugh at his simple answer, then pointed behind him and said, "You're looking for the wishing orbs? I have them right here!"

Lin Yu's eyes followed Bardos's gesture, and to his astonishment, all seven Dragon Balls were nestled in the corner, emitting a soft, mystical glow.

"I originally wanted the Wishing Orb to give me a manicure. Since you want it, go ahead and take them!" Bardos said with a playful smile.

Lin Yu jumped up with excitement upon hearing this, his face beaming with joy. "Really? Sister, you're so wonderful, I like you so much!"

However, Bardos suddenly revealed a sly smile and said softly, "Don't get too excited yet. I have another condition."

Hearing this, Lin Yu nodded without hesitation. "Sister, don't just mention one condition; even if there were hundreds, I would agree to them."

"Alright then, get ready, and come with me to the Sixth Universe," Bardos said to Lin Yu with a knowing smile.

"The Sixth Universe? Sister, you truly are an angel," Lin Yu said, looking at Bardos in surprise.

"Oh? My little brother actually knows about angels? It seems you're still keeping quite a few secrets from me!" Bardos looked at Lin Yu with an amused expression.

"Hehe, well, I wasn't exactly hiding anything!" Lin Yu said with a hint of guilt.

Bardos remained silent, her gaze fixed calmly on Lin Yu.

Lin Yu felt a growing unease under Bardos's steady gaze. He hesitated for a moment before finally deciding to confide in her.

"Well, actually, I have a secret that I've never told you. I have two systems..." Lin Yu honestly revealed the existence of his two systems to Bardos.

Lin Yu held immense trust in the woman who had raised him and was also his wife. He believed that Bardos would keep this information confidential.

"It's truly fascinating that there's a chat group in this world that can connect to all the heavens and myriad worlds, as well as a system that rewards having many children. It seems my dear brother is destined to enjoy endless good fortune in the future."

Lin Yu grinned mischievously and said, "Sister, why don't you also try giving birth to a cute baby?"

Bardos gave Lin Yu a charming glance, then gently stroked her belly and sighed helplessly. "Do you think I don't want to? It's incredibly difficult for us angels to conceive. Otherwise, why would there only be a dozen of us angels after all these long years? Dear brother, we have shared our love many times, but look at my belly; there's still no sign of anything."

"Sister, how can you be sure if you don't keep trying? We are diligently working at it!"

With a playful grin, Lin Yu scooped up Bardos in his arms and headed into the bedroom with the intention of "making a baby."

...

Chapter 25: Champa

Half a month later, in the Sixth Universe, the temple lay in ruins.

"Is this the Realm of Destruction? It feels so shabby, not even half as good as our home!" Lin Yu complained to Bardos beside him.

Bardos offered an awkward smile. She knew this place wasn't as grand as the Seventh Universe, but she still said diplomatically, "This is just the exterior. It's quite nice inside."

However, before Bardos could finish her sentence, Champa had already overheard Lin Yu's words and erupted in fury. "Boy, you have quite the nerve! How dare you call my home shabby in my own territory? Are you tired of living?"

Lin Yu completely disregarded Champa, not even glancing in his direction. Instead, he took Bardos's hand and said with a charming smile, "Sister, you seem to have become even more beautiful!"

Bardos was slightly taken aback, then a subtle smile touched her lips. In truth, before they arrived, Bardos had specifically instructed Lin Yu to teach Champa a lesson and deflate his arrogance. After all, both Champa and Beerus were notoriously lazy. One was nearly as round as a pig, and the other loved to sleep the day away. Bardos and Whis often found themselves wishing they could reform the Gods of Destruction.

"Looking for death!!!" Champa had never been so blatantly ignored. He instantly flew into a rage and lunged at Lin Yu with a powerful punch.

Facing Champa's fist, Lin Yu remained unhurried. The corners of his mouth curled into a confident smile. His eyes were steady and sharp, as if he could see through everything. He moved with the speed of an arrow shot from a bow, his swiftness almost blinding.

Yet, this was just the beginning. The moment Lin Yu took a step, his figure flickered and reappeared before Champa like a phantom. His movements were lightning-fast, catching the God of Destruction completely off guard. Then, Lin Yu clenched his right fist, channeling immense strength and power, and delivered a fierce blow to Champa.

"Boom..."

A deafening explosion reverberated throughout the universe, shaking everything. Champa had never anticipated such a swift and powerful attack from Lin Yu. His body was sent hurtling backward by Lin Yu's fist like a meteor streaking across the sky. He crashed through several stars behind him, triggering a series of violent explosions and fiery bursts.

"Bah, you little brat, you have some skill, no wonder you're so arrogant. But you are still far from my level!" Champa spat, a mixture of anger and disdain flashing in his eyes. He let out a cold laugh, seemingly confident in his own power.

"Really? Then how come I just knocked you away?" Lin Yu retorted with a smile, his voice laced with amusement and mockery. He showed no fear or hesitation despite Champa's counterattack, appearing even more confident and composed.

"Hmph, you sharp-tongued whelp, let me show you just how terrifying a God of Destruction truly is!" Champa snorted disdainfully, his tone filled with threat and challenge. He resolved to unleash his true power and teach this ignorant youth the meaning of real terror.

As Champa's voice echoed, a unique and overwhelming power, characteristic of a God of Destruction, began to emanate from him. This power was so immense and oppressive that it visibly distorted the surrounding space.

"This is getting interesting!" Lin Yu said slowly, a hint of excitement in his eyes. Faced with Champa's provocation, he felt no fear. Instead, he welcomed the challenge, feeling it ignite his fighting spirit.

His eyes widened, and the raw energy of Super Saiyan 4 erupted from his body, transforming into a swirling storm of power that enveloped him. The resulting shockwave was so intense it felt as if it could engulf the entire realm.

As the energy surged, Lin Yu's physical form began to transform. His skin gradually turned reddish-pink, overlaid with a golden aura, and crimson hair sprouted across his body like burning flames. His long black hair cascaded down his shoulders like a waterfall, swaying in the powerful gusts of energy. His eyes also shifted to a piercing golden-red, radiating an aura of majesty and dominance.

His pectoral muscles swelled to an impressive size, bulging like small mountains, brimming with raw power. Every muscle in his body became sharply defined, resembling sculpted steel, conveying an unshakeable sense of solidity. His arms were thick and sturdy, and his palms were broad, suggesting he could crush anything with ease.

"Lord Champa, be careful. This is Xiaoyu's Super Saiyan 4 form. He is very powerful." Just as Lin Yu completed his transformation into Super Saiyan 4, Bardos's voice suddenly reached Champa's ears. There was a hint of worry in her tone, but it was largely overshadowed by an undeniable affirmation of Lin Yu's strength.

Chapter 26: Champa ②

Lin Yu and Champa moved in perfect synchronization, their gazes locked with unwavering determination and resolve.

"Hah!" Lin Yu roared, his voice a deep, resonant bellow that seemed to shake the very fabric of the universe. Simultaneously, he clenched his right hand into a fist, the energy within him coalescing like a tidal wave, instantly infusing his knuckles with immense power.

"Come on!" Champa bellowed, taking the offensive. He too raised his right hand and unleashed a punch imbued with boundless strength. His fist blazed like a fiery meteor, carrying the potential to obliterate everything in its path.

The two fists collided in a cataclysmic instant, like two celestial bodies crashing together, unleashing a deafening explosion. At that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the entire universe shuddered from the impact.

Upon contact, a thunderous boom echoed throughout the cosmos, the roar reverberating endlessly, coalescing into a terrifying storm of energy. The storm, centered on the point of collision between the two men's fists, expanded outwards in all directions, annihilating everything in its wake.

Under the onslaught of this terrifying storm, all the planets and meteorites within a hundred light-years surrounding Lin Yu and Champa's bodies were unable to withstand the force and crumbled one after another. The living beings on these planets vanished in an instant, life extinguished without a trace.

The Kaioshin of Universe 6 watched the fierce battle unfold with a grave expression. The underworld was also overwhelmed, with countless souls pouring in.

"Hmph, not bad! Boy, come at me again!" Champa snorted, a hint of grudging respect in his tone. He hadn't experienced such a satisfying brawl in a long time, not since Beerus had fallen into his latest extended slumber.

"No need for words, let's fight!!!" Lin Yu declared, his body already a blur as he shot towards Champa with lightning speed.

Lin Yu moved so rapidly that even after he had reached Champa, his afterimage still lingered in his original position.

"So fast!" Champa's expression darkened, and he instantly raised his right hand. The moment Lin Yu closed the distance, he clenched his fist and launched a powerful punch.

This blow, channeling all of Champa's formidable strength, whistled through the air like a volcanic eruption, aimed directly at Lin Yu.

Lin Yu's eyes flashed, the corners of his mouth curving into a subtle sneer. He deftly dodged Champa's fist and reappeared behind the God of Destruction.

Champa's face contorted in surprise and frustration. He hadn't anticipated Lin Yu's speed, realizing he had been easily outmaneuvered.

"Damn it!" Champa roared in anger, spinning around to attack Lin Yu once more.

Lin Yu shimmered and evaded Champa's attack again, his figure moving like an elusive phantom, making his movements impossible to predict.

Champa was shocked, finally recognizing that he had encountered a truly formidable opponent. He took a deep breath, focused his mind, and prepared to unleash his full power to meet Lin Yu's challenge head-on.

"Come again!" Lin Yu shouted, charging towards Champa once more. The two figures blurred as they clashed in mid-air, a flurry of fist shadows flashing, and the thunderous sound of their fierce collisions echoed throughout the desolate world of the God of Destruction.

The two combatants traded blow after brutal blow, each punch carrying devastating force and accompanied by a powerful surge of energy, like two meteors colliding in the vast emptiness of space. The destructive power generated by their clash was immense. The very fabric of space surrounding them began to shatter from the shockwaves of their battle. The starry sky fractured, revealing countless black holes that greedily devoured all the matter in their vicinity.

"Oh my, you two, honestly! You naughty little brother, can't you just use your full power already? You know, repairing space is terribly tiring!" Bardos pouted, muttering her dissatisfaction. As she spoke, she gracefully waved the scepter in her hand, mending the fractured dimensions.

Bardos stamped her foot in playful annoyance, her expression coquettish. Her beauty and charm were so captivating they could make anyone fall in love. If Lin Yu could have witnessed this scene at that moment, he likely would have immediately abandoned his fight with Champa to engage in a different kind of "battle" with Bardos for three hundred rounds. Unfortunately, he was so engrossed in his intense duel with Champa that he was completely oblivious to everything else.

Chapter 27: Champa ③

Champa abruptly opened his right hand, and a surge of intense purple energy erupted like a tidal wave, instantly condensing into a compact energy sphere. Despite its small size, the sphere pulsed with immense power, radiating an aura of awe-inspiring destruction.

Within this mysterious and potent purple energy, Lin Yu keenly sensed a terrifying force, chilling him to the bone. It felt as though this power could obliterate existence itself, leaving only despair in its wake.

"Sword Penetration Wave!!"

Lin Yu suddenly unleashed a fierce roar, and a Ki wave as sharp as a blade shot forth from his fingertips, slicing through the air towards the purple energy with blinding speed.

"Boo!"

With a subtle sound, the purple energy sphere trembled momentarily. Lin Yu's Sword Penetration Wave pierced through it effortlessly, continuing its trajectory towards Champa with unstoppable momentum.

"What?!"

Champa's expression twisted in shock, a flicker of astonishment in his eyes. He had never anticipated that Lin Yu could so easily shatter the destructive energy he held in such high regard.

This technique, the Sword Penetration Wave, was a unique creation of Lin Yu's, honed through countless battles and careful thought. While it might not possess the raw power of traditional techniques like the Kamehameha, its piercing capability rivaled even Goku's Dragon Fist.

""Destroy!""

At the critical moment, a frigid voice escaped Champa's lips, like a blast of icy winter wind. As his word fell, a powerful and enigmatic force gathered before him, as if endless darkness was compressed into a single point before suddenly exploding outwards.

The purple energy surged forward like a raging torrent, carrying the power to annihilate everything in its path, rumbling towards Lin Yu. This wave of destruction was incredibly fast, closing the distance in the blink of an eye, threatening to engulf him in utter oblivion.

However, facing such a ferocious assault from Champa, a brilliant light ignited in Lin Yu's eyes. His hair instantly shifted to a fiery brown-red, as dazzling as a burning flame; the red fur covering his body intensified in color, as if stained with blood. Simultaneously, the aura emanating from him intensified dramatically, making him seem like an entirely different being.

Lin Yu clenched his right hand into a fist, his arm muscles bulging, veins throbbing, brimming with limitless power. Without hesitation, he swung his right fist, colliding fiercely with Champa's purple torrent.

"Boom..."

A deafening roar echoed across the starry expanse, as if the stars themselves were trembling. The immense force of the impact warped and distorted the surrounding space, visible cracks spreading outwards like fissures in reality.

Struck by the force of the blow, Champa's face drained of color, blood spurting from his mouth as his body involuntarily recoiled. He stumbled backward several steps before managing to regain his footing. His eyes widened in disbelief as he stared at Lin Yu, his heart reeling from the shock.

"Who are you?" Champa asked suspiciously, an incredulous expression plastered on his face as he scrutinized Lin Yu.

"As for me, I'm just an ordinary Saiyan," Lin Yu replied with a faint smile, a hint of disdain flickering in his eyes.

"Alright, you two!" At that moment, a gentle voice interjected. Bardos stepped forward, her figure flashing, and instantly appeared between Lin Yu and Champa. Her movements were light and graceful, akin to teleportation, a truly astonishing display.

"Sister, I have completed the task. Is there any reward?" Lin Yu looked at Bardos with a hopeful smile, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Bardos playfully rolled her eyes at Lin Yu and said with mock exasperation, "Look at what you two have done to the universe! I still have to clean up your mess, and you actually expect a reward?"

"Sister, I'm sorry. It's a rare fight for me, and I got a little too excited. It must be the Saiyan blood taking over," Lin Yu quickly apologized, a touch of flattery in his tone.

"Mission? Well, Bardos, you actually teamed up with an outsider to bully me!" Champa exclaimed, his face a picture of grievance, his heart filled with indignation.

"Hehe, he is not a stranger! He is my man," Bardos said with a smile, a hint of happiness shining in her eyes.

"Bardos, I was wondering why you haven't been seen for the past few decades. Turns out you've been keeping a gigolo!" Champa said with an unhappy scowl as he looked at the two of them. His tone was laced with jealousy and resentment, clearly displeased with Bardos's actions.

Hearing Champa's words, Lin Yu's expression instantly darkened. He glared fiercely at the God of Destruction, a flash of anger in his eyes. "Hey, you fat pig, do you want another beating? Who's the gigolo? Your whole family are gigolos!"

Champa showed no signs of backing down, continuing his taunts. "What? You kidnapped my Bardos, and you won't let me call you out on it? Pretty boy!" A smug smirk spread across his face, as if he was deliberately trying to provoke Lin Yu further.

Just at that moment, as Lin Yu was about to unleash another string of insults, a sudden mechanical voice interrupted him.

Chapter 28: Champa ④

[Ding, congratulations to the host for welcoming twins, a boy and a girl, and giving you an indestructible kidney and unlimited physical strength!]

"What?" The mechanical voice startled Lin Yu. First, he was dumbfounded, and then a wave of overwhelming joy washed over him. Oh my! He couldn't believe his ears. His wife was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl! This news filled him with immense happiness, but also a touch of confusion. Who could it be? Ran already had a child, so the one pregnant this time could only be Ai or Bardos. Thinking this, he couldn't help but sink into deep thought.

The system's rewards surprised and delighted him—an indestructible kidney and unlimited physical strength. While these two rewards sounded impressive, they also felt a bit peculiar. Especially that indestructible kidney, what on earth was its purpose? But unlimited stamina was definitely a welcome perk, allowing him to last longer in his "sparring sessions" with the girls.

At this moment, an idea struck Lin Yu, and he cautiously asked Bardos, "Sister, are you pregnant?" Since he wasn't sure which wife was carrying his child, he had to test the waters first.

But Bardos frowned and replied, "Xiao Yu, don't talk nonsense! I told you a long time ago that it's incredibly difficult for us angels to have babies, almost impossible." She seemed displeased with Lin Yu's guess, thinking he was making a joke.

"Sister, why don't you take a look first, just in case you really are pregnant!" Lin Yu said with a hopeful smile.

Bardos was slightly bewildered but still listened to Lin Yu and carefully examined her own body. What she discovered was astonishing. Bardos was pleasantly surprised to find that there were indeed two tiny babies nestled within her womb. This sudden news filled Bardos with such joy that she could hardly believe she was going to be a mother soon.

Lin Yu watched Bardos's excitement and secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He hadn't been certain who was pregnant, so he had simply wanted to confirm it through a check. Now it seemed that Bardos had truly hit the jackpot, and his efforts over the past half-month had not been in vain.

"Xiao Yu, did you know about this a long time ago, and that's why you asked me to check?" Bardos asked, her face alight with surprise.

Lin Yu scratched his head and said a little sheepishly, "Actually, I just found out about it too, and the system even gave me a reward."

Champa: "What?! Bardos, you're pregnant! I have a nephew now! Hahaha! When he's born, let me name him Xiangqi!"

"Go?"

With two swift roars, Bardos delivered a powerful double punch to Champa, sending him hurtling thousands of meters away, crashing into a fiery star.

"Ah--"

"It's so hot, so hot!" Champa emerged from the star covered in soot and grime. His entire body was blackened, his hair stood on end, and wisps of black smoke curled upwards.

"Bardos, you're too stingy! It's just a name! Xiangqi is such a nice name!" Champa protested, unconvinced.

"Say that again if you dare! I don't mind requesting a replacement God of Destruction," Bardos's eyes blazed with murderous intent as she glared at Champa, as if she wanted to devour him whole.

"Okay, okay, I won't say anymore, I won't say anymore," Champa waved his hands quickly in surrender, but in his mind, he was already planning to name the child Xiangqi the moment he was born.

"Hmph!" Bardos snorted, turned on her heel, and flew away.

Lin Yu: "Sister, your punch was so satisfying! If you hadn't gone first, I would have wanted to go up and hit him twice myself. Who does that fat pig think he is, giving our baby such a tacky name?"

Bardos: "Don't worry about that idiot, Xiaoyu. You just said you got a reward from the system. What reward is it?"

"Uh..." Lin Yu scratched his head. He could talk about the reward of unlimited stamina openly, but he felt a bit embarrassed to mention the other one.

"Hurry up and tell me! What is the reward?" Seeing Lin Yu's hesitation, Bardos couldn't help but press him.

Lin Yu had no choice but to answer honestly, "It's infinite physical strength and indestructible kidneys."

Hearing this, Bardos's lips curled into a sly smile, and she teased, "Ayu, this system understands you very well, giving you such a reward! It seems only indecent people can be matched with indecent systems." With that, she moved towards Lin Yu with mischievous intent.

Lin Yu was taken aback by Bardos's actions and stepped back, stammering, "Sister, what are you doing? Don't... you're still pregnant."

Bardos chuckled, then took Lin Yu's hand and walked towards the palace, saying as they went, "Sister, of course, wants to test whether your reward is reliable!"

Lin Yu was playfully dragged into the palace by Bardos. He secretly groaned in his heart, unsure whether to be happy or cry. His little brother was definitely in for another workout.

Chapter 29 Luxury Hotel Murder Case

Conan World.

"Ai, Ran, my darlings, I'm here to gain weight!"

Lin Yu's figure "whoosh" appeared in his living room with a bright smile on his face. He hadn't seen the two women for several months and he missed them terribly. During his time in the Destruction Temple, Lin Yu had been thoroughly "trained" by Bardos. If it weren't for the new reward, his waist would have long since succumbed to the relentless demands. As soon as he found an opportunity, he rushed back without hesitation.

Lin Yu's cheerful voice echoed in the living room, but strangely, there was no response from either of the women, and the warm welcome he had anticipated failed to materialize.

"Huh? Where are they? Where did these two girls go?" Lin Yu couldn't help but wonder, a hint of disappointment creeping into his expression.

A few days prior, Kogoro Mouri had called, mentioning a missing person case that required his personal attention, and had asked Ran Mouri and Conan to accompany him, suggesting it could serve as a mini-vacation.

...

"Ran, who is this beautiful girl?" Kogoro Mouri asked, glancing at Ai Haibara in the rearview mirror while expertly navigating the rented car. He muttered to himself about the girl's striking beauty.

"Dad, I just met Ai, and we're becoming good friends," Ran replied, turning her head towards Kogoro. She then addressed Ai Haibara, who was sitting beside her, "Ai, please don't mind him; my dad can be like this sometimes."

Ai Haibara nodded, indicating her understanding.

At that moment, Conan chimed in with a smile, "Sister Ran, where have you been recently? Uncle Mouri and I have had to eat instant noodles at home every day." He even adopted a pitiful expression for added effect.

"I'm sorry, Conan, I've been a little busy lately, so I haven't had time to go back!" Ran looked at Conan, a fleeting hint of apology in her eyes, though it was quickly replaced by a more complex, tangled emotion. Having learned Conan's true identity from Ai Haibara, the little boy she had always cared for as a younger brother was, in fact, Shinichi Kudo.

Conan seemed to sense a change in Ran's gaze, a subtle shift that made him uneasy. Fearing she might have somehow discovered his secret, he quickly changed the subject. "Sister Ran, you seem to have gained a little weight recently."

"Oh, maybe I've just been eating too much lately!" Ran Mouri replied with a smile, gently touching her belly. Her eyes held a tender glow, and a sweet smile played on her lips. When she looked like this, it seemed as if the whole world brightened around her.

While the group chatted, Kogoro Mouri had already driven the car to their destination: the Jiaren Hotel. This was the largest hotel in Niigata Prefecture, boasting five floors. The hotel not only offered luxurious hot springs but also incredibly extravagant five-star packages, generally reserved for the wealthy and influential.

Kogoro Mouri led everyone into the hotel and explained their purpose to the service desk.

"Ran, why do I feel a little eerie here? Is there something...unsettling about this place?" Ran frowned slightly and whispered to Ai Haibara.

"Well, let's just be careful. It seems my husband is right; when that guy is around, nothing good ever happens," Ai Haibara muttered, casting a sidelong glance at Conan.

Just then, a man in a suit and glasses stepped out of the elevator. Hey, wasn't that the lobby manager of the hotel! As soon as he spotted Kogoro Mouri, he hurried over, a bright smile plastered on his face. "Oh, Mouri-san, what a coincidence! I've heard of your renowned name for so long, and today I finally have the honor of meeting you in person. This case... I will be relying heavily on your expertise!"

Kogoro Mouri puffed out his chest, a smug grin spreading across his face. "Haha, don't mention it, you're too kind! But rest assured, with the great Kogoro Mouri here, this case will undoubtedly be solved with ease!"

Conan, standing nearby, shook his head in silent exasperation, looking at his overly confident uncle and muttering to himself in disbelief.

The lobby manager nodded repeatedly, offering profuse thanks before saying, "Then I shall leave it in your capable hands. I have other pressing matters to attend to, so I won't be able to accompany you for now. I'll have the front desk staff show you around our hotel." With that, he hurried off.

Conan began to survey the hotel lobby. It was still relatively early, and the hall was sparsely populated. A young woman in a burgundy dress, exuding an air of elegance, sat quietly by the window, leisurely sipping coffee. She would gaze out the window for a while, then return to the book in her hands, appearing particularly relaxed and comfortable.

Suddenly, a loud commotion erupted, shattering Conan's thoughts. He looked towards the source of the noise and saw a girl grabbing a boy by the collar, kicking and hitting him. Conan squinted, feeling that the girl's figure looked vaguely familiar, but he couldn't quite place her.

Hehe, Conan decided to investigate. As he drew closer, he finally recognized the girl's face. Oh, it turned out to be Suzuki Sonoko, whom he knew well.

"Sonoko-neechan, why are you here?!" Conan exclaimed in surprise.

Hearing someone call her name, Sonoko Suzuki stopped her vigorous bag-whacking session on the unfortunate boy. She turned her head, scanning the surroundings, and finally, her eyes landed on Conan.

"Haha, well, if it isn't you, little kid. That means Ran must be here too?" Sonoko Suzuki's lips curved into a mischievous smile.

"Sonoko, why are you here too?" Ran asked, her curiosity piqued.

Sonoko Suzuki huffed indignantly. "Oh, don't even get me started! I came here for a blind date, but the guy turned out to be a complete creep! Just now, I accidentally discovered he had dozens of photos of different women on his phone, and after I called him out on it, he actually dared to try and touch me! Humph, I slapped him good right then and there!"

At this point, Conan couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "With your flat chest, there are still guys who try to grope you. How clueless..."

Unfortunately for him, Sonoko Suzuki had remarkably sharp ears and caught his remark instantly. She immediately flew into a rage, rolling up her sleeves and advancing menacingly towards Conan. "Who are you talking about, you little brat? I'm going to beat you up!"

Seeing her fury, Conan yelped and quickly hid behind Ran, shouting in panic, "Sister Ran, save me!"

In the past, Ran would have undoubtedly rushed to Conan's defense, pleading with Sonoko to forgive him. But now, her priorities had shifted. Having chosen to be with Lin Yu, Shinichi Kudo was now simply a regular friend in her heart.

When Conan realized that Ran had no intention of intervening on his behalf, a wave of disappointment washed over him. He was swiftly apprehended by Sonoko and ended up with two painful bumps on his head for his trouble.

Just then, the elegant girl who had been calmly drinking coffee by the window approached their group. She walked towards Ran Mouri with a gentle smile and said softly, "Hello, I sense a rather magical energy within you. I was wondering if you might be interested in having a chat with me?"

Ran and Ai Haibara exchanged a knowing glance. They understood the unspoken message in each other's eyes.

"Of course, no problem at all," Ran replied with a slight nod and a cheerful agreement.

Once everyone was seated comfortably, the girl got straight to the point, speaking frankly. "Allow me to introduce myself first. My name is Koizumi Hongzi, and I am the inheritor of the red magic. My purpose in coming here this time is to capture an earthbound spirit."

"Earthbound spirit? Isn't that a monster from legends? How could such a terrifying thing be here?" Ran asked in disbelief, her face etched with astonishment.

"It is absolutely true. According to my in-depth investigation, this earthbound spirit is the reincarnation of someone who died unjustly hundreds of years ago. Its resentment has lingered for a very long time, and it has claimed many lives so far. I came here with the intention of eradicating it, but to be honest, I don't have a 100% guarantee of success. Miss Ran, I was wondering if you might be willing to lend me a hand?"

Conan looked at Koizumi Hongzi seriously and interjected, "Sister Ran, don't be fooled by her. This is a different era now; how can there be such mysterious things as magic?"

But before he could elaborate, Sonoko Suzuki suddenly reached out and clamped her hand firmly over Conan's mouth, effectively silencing him. Conan struggled in her grasp, but it was futile.

Ran looked at Koizumi Hongzi with a hint of uncertainty, wondering aloud, "But I don't possess any special skills. Are you sure you really need my help?"

Koizumi Hongzi smiled slightly, confidence shining in her eyes. She shook her head gently and said softly, "Don't worry, you are capable. I can sense a very strong power within you, perhaps even stronger than my own magic. As long as you are willing to assist me, I believe we can definitely succeed."

Hearing Koizumi Hongzi's words, Ran couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity. She suddenly recalled the radiant blue gem that Lin Yu had given her. At the time, Lin Yu had mentioned that this gem possessed magical powers and could continuously evolve. Perhaps what Koizumi Hongzi was sensing was the energy emanating from this very gem.

With a newfound sense of purpose, Ran nodded and agreed to Koizumi Hongzi's request. If there truly was a malevolent entity harming people, then helping to eliminate it would be a way to protect the innocent.
