Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: Awakening the Storm

Arjun wiped the sweat from his brow, his arms burning from the endless repetitions of push-ups. His body ached, but he pushed forward, driven by a newfound resolve. If he wanted to stand among the best Bladers, his physical strength had to match his mental prowess. Launching a Beyblade wasn't just about twisting a launcher—it was about power, precision, and control. He had found some old training regimens online, particularly those emphasizing grip strength, arm endurance, and footwork, and had incorporated them into his daily routine.

His morning schedule was strict—100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and an intense wrist training routine to improve his grip. He even filled an old Beyblade launcher grip with sand to increase its weight, forcing his hand muscles to adapt.

Still, something nagged at him. Training his body was one thing, but Beyblade was more than brute force. He needed something more.

The Hidden Power of a Bey

One night, scrolling through forums and old video archives, he stumbled upon a tournament clip from an international event. The footage showed a Blader from Spain, Miguel Reyes, wielding a rare Bey named "Tempestad León"—a Storm-based Bey with a lion motif. What caught Arjun's attention wasn't just the skillful maneuvering, but the eerie, translucent figure that loomed over the Bey mid-battle. A spectral lion, wreathed in energy, roared as the Bey executed its final strike.

This wasn't a gimmick or animation effect—it was real. The Bey Spirit.

Arjun leaned back, exhaling sharply. He had dismissed the idea before, but seeing it now, there was no denying it. These Bladers weren't just spinning tops; they were summoning something beyond logic.

Yet, when he looked at his own Bey, Bakushin Airavat, there was no sign of such power. No storm, no guardian spirit, no thunderous roar. Just a finely tuned machine, battling within the confines of physics.

The Legend of Airavat

If he was going to unlock Airavat's potential, he needed to understand it. Searching online, he dug deep into the lore of Indra's mount, the white elephant known as Airavat. Descriptions spoke of it as a divine beast, born from the churning of the ocean, possessing incredible strength and the power to summon storms. It was said to be a guardian of the heavens, a creature of immense wisdom and destruction alike.

Arjun frowned. "Then why is my Bey so silent?"

Maybe he was thinking about it the wrong way. He had been trying to force something unnatural, expecting his Bey to transform without reason. But power wasn't just given—it was earned.

His mind drifted back to the clip of Miguel Reyes. The Spanish Blader wasn't just launching—he was commanding his Bey, as though he and the lion were one. That was it. The bond.

Airavat wouldn't just appear because he wanted it to. He had to prove himself worthy.

A New Path

Resolved, Arjun set aside his fruitless attempts at manifesting a Bey Spirit. Instead, he would focus on sharpening his battle instincts, refining his launch, and studying every opponent he could find. There was a whole world of Bladers out there, each with their own style. He needed to step into that world, experience it firsthand.

Japan's minor tournaments would be his first step.

The road ahead was long, but one thing was clear—Beyblade wasn't just a game. It was a battle for something much greater. And he was ready to fight.
