I had been waiting for this game for so long. CD Projekt RED never released garbage. A futuristic world, awesome guns, and shootouts with loads of cyber implants. Finally, after completing the purchase, I started downloading it. I just hope my PC can handle this beast. Yeah, the system requirements are insane, but it's fine you've handled plenty of heavy games before, my old friend. I gently patted the system unit standing beside me.
Stocking up on chips and some soda, I got ready to enjoy this masterpiece all night long. Finally, the download was complete, and I hit launch. Oh, damn, what an amazing Cyberpunk 2077 intro. Chills ran all over my body the in-game footage was absolutely stunning. If the actual gameplay looks like this, it's going to be a blast.
I click "New Game." Now, who do I want to play as? Well, the choices aren't that diverse, but judging by the early reviews, it doesn't really matter. So I pick randomly, choosing the Street Kid, and move on to character customization. After finishing that, I eagerly jump into the game.
The fans in my PC roared. As soon as the opening cutscene started, the game began lagging horribly then my computer outright caught fire. Acrid smoke from melting plastic filled the tightly closed room. Flames burst from the inside, scorching the wallpaper. I barely had time to process the shock before the fire spread, the room was engulfed, and my consciousness started fading from the carbon monoxide. So much for playing the game.
My mind was being pulled through some kind of darkness. I felt absolutely nothing, just an endless void around me. My thoughts were sluggish and heavy.

Some strange ancient symbols appeared before me. I could barely make sense of them. Was I hallucinating? A faint light started to break through ahead, filling me with scattered images.

Maybe I just got wasted, and this is some sort of fever dream. I'll probably wake up in my bed after sleeping it off.

The scene before my eyes started to sharpen. I began to feel the world around me and hear the sounds of a bustling city.
