Kojou was walking around with Nagisa after having breakfast at a café, as he didn't want Nagisa to cook while she was tired.
"Do you want to eat something sweet?" – asked Kojou, noticing a nearby cart selling crepes.
"Not now. Let's go buy clothes for you first." – Nagisa shook her head and pulled Kojou toward the nearest clothing store to shop for him.
"I get it, so don't pull me." – said Kojou, since it was annoying to walk while being dragged by someone else.
"Alright..." – Nagisa nodded and stopped pulling Kojou, but instead, she hugged his arm and walked beside him – "Then let's go."
"..." – Kojou stared at his arm, now held tightly by Nagisa, and chose to keep his mouth shut, feeling that Nagisa would probably escalate things if he pointed it out.
(●'◡'●) – Seeing how Kojou chose to ignore it, a victorious smile crept onto Nagisa's lips. Kojou's feeling was right; she would've gotten even closer if he complained about how near she was.
And so, the two entered the clothing store while Nagisa clung happily to Kojou's arm.
"Welcome, dear customers." – Upon entering the store, they were greeted by the receptionist – "How may I help you today?"
"We're looking to buy some men's clothes." – Nagisa spoke to the receptionist, as Kojou wasn't good at these kinds of things – "And it would be better if there's a section for famous brands."
"In that case, you'll find what you're looking for on the fourth floor. The third floor has medium-priced men's clothing." – the receptionist said with a professional smile, clearly pleased to be dealing with wealthy customers.
"Thank you for your help." – Nagisa nodded to the receptionist – "Let's go, Kojou-kun."
"..." – Kojou said nothing and followed Nagisa, although he was secretly thanking his lucky stars for acquiring a lot of money yesterday. He was sure the one million yen he originally planned to bring wouldn't have been enough if Nagisa planned on buying branded clothes.
"By the way, Kojou-kun," – Nagisa said as they were in the elevator heading to the fourth floor – "you haven't told me what type of clothes you want to buy. Do you prefer formal or casual? And what colors do you like?"
Usually, Nagisa wouldn't ask Kojou about his preferences in clothes, since he didn't care much and would wear anything. But now, it was obvious that he cared more about his appearance, so she needed to hear what he wanted.
"Well, I want to buy both formal and casual clothes." – said Kojou, having decided to work on himself; he wasn't like he used to be – "As for colors, I prefer simple ones like black and white."
"I see... Then, do you want to buy shoes and similar items too, or just clothes?" – Nagisa nodded and asked again, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Clearly, she was more thrilled about shopping than the one actually getting the clothes.
"That's my intention." – Kojou nodded with some hesitation, a bit worried that Nagisa might go overboard judging by the look in her eyes.
"In that case, it's better to check out more stores. Even though this store is famous, there's a better one for buying shoes." – said Nagisa as she exited the elevator, seeming excited to shop around – "Also, we'll get the casual clothes from another store, since this one specializes in formal wear."
"I'll leave everything to you. You know I don't understand any of this stuff." – said Kojou, resigning himself to his fate. It looked like he'd be returning home very tired.
"Leave it to me, and I'll make sure you turn into a completely different person!" – said Nagisa proudly, puffing out her chest – "First, let's go check out that section."
"Alright, alright." – Kojou replied helplessly, following the enthusiastic Nagisa, who had let go of his arm and started browsing the clothes eagerly.
"..." – Kojou stood near Nagisa with a small smile. He was happy to see her enjoying herself while shopping.
"Kojou-kun, turn around a little." – said Nagisa, picking up a black shirt from the hanging racks.
Without hesitation, Kojou did as she asked and gave her his back, feeling the shirt being placed against him as Nagisa mumbled things about the size, color, and so on.
"Let's move on to the next one." – said Nagisa suddenly, putting the shirt back and walking over to another group of clothes to check them out.
Kojou didn't object and obediently followed her. She was doing her best to choose clothes for him, and he had no right to complain since it was all for his sake.
"By the way, Nagisa, you can buy some clothes for yourself too. I have plenty of money." – said Kojou, noting that the clothes weren't as expensive as he initially thought. He shouldn't have any problem buying dozens of pieces with the money he had.
"Really!? Thank you, Kojou-kun!" – Nagisa smiled happily at Kojou's offer. Even though her parents gave her a lot of money for clothes, the ones Kojou would buy for her held a special meaning, especially after she became Kojou's Blood Servant.
"But first, we need to get your clothes." – said Nagisa, returning to digging through the clothes to find something suitable for Kojou.
