Aria woke up from her sleep, stretching her arms above her head as she yawned. Her expression was one of relaxation, with a hint of a smile playing on her lips. She seemed to be savoring the moment, enjoying the feeling of her body slowly coming to life.
As she got out of bed, she summoned Heaven, her loyal maid, to prepare her bath. Heaven nodded and hastened to arrange the bathtub. She carefully poured a mixture of rose petals, a nice oil, and jasmine essence into the warm water, creating a fragrant and soothing aroma. She then added a sprinkle of bath salts, which fizzed and bubbled in the water, releasing a gentle, calming scent.
Heaven arranged the bathtub with precision, making sure the water was at the perfect temperature and the towels were within easy reach. She added a few candles to the room, their soft, golden light casting a warm glow over the space.
As she finished preparing the bath, Heaven informed Aria, "Aria, your tub is ready," her voice filled with a warm, friendly tone. Aria smiled, her eyes sparkling with anticipation, and made her way to the bathtub.
The other maids helped Aria settle into the warm, fragrant water, gently washing her hair and massaging her scalp. They used a soft, fluffy sponge to clean her skin, working in gentle, soothing motions. Aria closed her eyes, letting out a contented sigh as the maids worked their magic.
Heaven stood outside the bathroom, Aria's clothes already arranged and held carefully in her hands. She smiled to herself, happy to see her mistress so relaxed and content. She waited patiently for Aria to finish her bath, ready to help her dress and prepare for the day ahead.
After what felt like an eternity, Aria finally emerged from the bath, her skin glowing and her blonde hair looking silky and smooth. Heaven was waiting for her, holding out a soft, plush towel to wrap around her body. Aria smiled, feeling grateful for the thoughtful gesture, and allowed Heaven to dry her off. As Heaven began to dry Aria's body with the towel, she noticed the little tattoo of a fox on her left shoulder.
Heaven's eyes widened in shock as she took in the sight of the tattoo. She stopped drying Aria's body and stepped backward, her eyes fixed on the tattoo. Aria noticed that Heaven had stopped cleaning her body and turned to look at her, only to see Heaven's eyes filled with fear.
"Who are you?" Heaven asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Aria was lost and shocked by the sudden question, unsure of what was going on. She looked at Heaven with a confused expression, her eyes searching for answers.
"What do you mean?" Aria asked, her voice laced with uncertainty. Heaven took another step backward, her eyes still fixed on the tattoo.
"What's that fox tattoo on your shoulder?" Heaven asked, her voice filled with suspicion. Aria's eyes locked onto Heaven's, fear beginning to grow inside her. She didn't know what to say or how to explain the tattoo.
"I... umm... Oh, this tattoo, I got it not too long ago," Aria lied, trying to come up with a convincing story. But Heaven was not buying it.
"You got a tattoo, and a fox one for that matter? That's absurd," Heaven said, her voice filled with skepticism. "Please tell me, who are you? Now it makes sense because how can you forget everything about yourself in a night? You didn't know your mother was locked up, you didn't know how people bully you, you didn't even know my name, even though I was the closest to you."
Heaven's expression was one of shock and confusion, mixed with a hint of fear. She was trying to understand what was going on, but Aria's answers only seemed to raise more questions.
"What are you hiding, Aria?" Heaven asked, her voice rising in frustration. Aria's eyes dropped, and she looked away, unsure of how to respond. The air was thick with tension as the two women stood there, locked in a silent standoff.
"I don't want to inform the pack about this situation because I care about you a lot, so you have to tell me, I'll trust you," Heaven said in a calm voice, her words filled with concern and empathy. Aria's expression softened, and she felt a sense of relief wash over her. "Okay, let's sit and talk," Aria said, her voice barely above a whisper.
They walked over to the bed and sat down, Aria taking a deep breath before beginning to narrate her story. She told Heaven everything about her coming to the Bloodmoon Pack 5000 years back in time, about how Dante had destroyed her pack and hurt her father. As Aria spoke, Heaven's expression changed from surprise to fear to pity, her eyes filled with a deep understanding and compassion.
As Aria concluded her story, her voice cracked with emotion. "So that's why my father sent me here to stop Dante from destroying our pack and to exact my revenge on him," she said, her eyes flashing with determination. The two women sat in silence for a minute.
Heaven broke the silence, her voice filled with awe. "Wow, I've heard about the ancient mirror, and I heard that it belongs to the Fox Pack, so it's true," she said, her eyes wide with wonder. Aria nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yes, it's true, hold on," she said, standing up to retrieve something.
She returned with a jewelry box, which was locked with a small ancient key. Heaven's eyes followed Aria's every move, her curiosity piqued. As Aria sat down and began to unlock the box, Heaven's eyes locked onto the box, her expression filled with anticipation.
Finally, Aria removed the top layer of the box and brought out the ancient mirror. Heaven's eyes widened in surprise, her mouth dropping open in awe. The mirror glimmered in the dim light of the room, its surface reflecting the two women's faces like a still pond. Aria's eyes met Heaven's, and she could see the wonder and excitement reflected back at her.
As they were smiling, looking at the mirror, the door burst opened, and both Aria and Heaven turned to look in the direction of the door. Their eyes widened in surprise, and their expression turned to one of concern and fear.
