I just want to say that i don't know how the leveling, experience, and how the learn skills/ abilities from what i know from the anime is that you can be taught skills from someone with the skills or something because it's been a long time since i watch and read the light novel. From what i remember is that it takes more skill points to learn a new skill but it can be reduce if taught by a skill holder.

The warm light of the afternoon sun filtered into the guild hall as Cecilia sat at one of the smaller tables, her Adventurer Card held lightly in her hands. The card shimmered faintly, its surface displaying her name, stats, and a list of skills she had acquired so far—or rather, the lack thereof. Despite her growing reputation as a capable adventurer, her card showed only one skill: Adaptive Energy Manipulation, the cheat ability she hadn't chosen but had been gifted when she arrived in this world.
The weight of the card wasn't physical, yet Cecilia couldn't help but feel its significance pressing on her. She had learned through observation and conversation that this card wasn't just a tool for tracking progress—it was a reflection of a person's choices, talents, and growth. To adventurers, it was everything.
She frowned slightly as her golden eyes scanned the empty skill slots displayed on the card. While her cheat ability had proven useful, she knew it wasn't enough. The path forward was clear: she needed to earn more skill points and choose her abilities wisely.
Learning the Mechanics
Luna approached her table with a bright smile, her auburn hair catching the light as she set down a small tray of tea. "You've been staring at that card for a while now," she said. "Trying to figure out your next move?"
"Something like that," Cecilia replied, setting the card down. "I understand the basics, but there's still a lot I don't know."
"Well, you've come to the right person," Luna said, sitting down across from her. "Adventurer Cards are fascinating, really. They're tied to your very soul—your talents, your potential, your growth. Think of them as a mirror of who you are, but also who you could become."
Cecilia raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite herself. "Go on."
"Every adventurer starts with a handful of skill points, based on their natural talent," Luna explained. "And you earn more by gaining experience points, or XP. That happens when you defeat monsters, complete quests, or sometimes even through rare items and food. When you level up, you get one skill point to spend, and your stats improve too."
"But not all skills are created equal," Cecilia said, recalling previous conversations.
"Exactly," Luna replied. "Skills are divided into brands—specific sets of abilities tied to certain classes. Warriors, Wizards, Archers, Crusaders—each class has its specialties. Adventurers, though… well, you're lucky in some ways, because you can learn any brand skill. But you're unlucky in others, because none of those skills will be as effective as they would be for someone specialized. That's the trade-off."
"Jack of all trades, master of none," Cecilia muttered.
"Precisely," Luna said with a grin. "Still, it's not all bad. Adventurers have incredible flexibility. You just have to be smart about how you spend your skill points. Some people save them up for powerful advanced skills, while others prefer a balanced approach. And once you learn a skill… well, there's no turning back."
"No refunds," Cecilia said dryly.
Luna laughed. "Pretty much. That's why choosing wisely is so important."
A Moment of Reflection
As Luna returned to her duties, Cecilia sat quietly, staring at her Adventurer Card. The words Luna had spoken lingered in her mind, intertwining with her own thoughts. She had spent the past week honing her cheat ability, and while its progress had been promising, she couldn't rely on it alone.
Her cheat skill wasn't listed among the typical brands or abilities—it was something entirely separate, something that seemed to evolve with her efforts. But even as she advanced it, she knew she needed a broader foundation. Ginko's instincts whispered faintly in her mind, reminding her of the importance of adaptability in battle.
Cecilia traced the edges of her card thoughtfully. If she was going to grow as an adventurer, she needed to commit to learning skills that complemented her strengths. Swordsmanship was an obvious choice, but what else? Should she invest in survival abilities, like Enemy Detection or Lurk? Or perhaps utility skills that would support her in quests, like Detect Trap or Lockpick?
Her thoughts were interrupted as a familiar voice called her name.
Taking Action
Later that evening, Cecilia retreated to the outskirts of Axel, the open fields bathed in the soft glow of twilight. Her katana rested at her side as she practiced her forms, each swing of the blade deliberate and precise. She felt Ginko's instincts guiding her movements, but she was determined to make them her own—to blend her inherited strength with her own resolve.
When her arms grew tired, she turned her focus to her cheat ability. The energy around her felt alive, pulsating faintly as she reached out to manipulate it. Her earlier successes had given her confidence, but she knew there was still much to learn.
She began shaping the energy into various forms, starting small and simple—a lantern, a cup, a spoon. Each creation shimmered faintly, its edges delicate yet stable. As her control improved, she experimented with more complex constructs—a small knife, a shield, a bow.
The bow was a challenge, requiring careful balance and tension. Cecilia concentrated fiercely, her mind picturing every detail. When the bow finally materialized in her hands, she exhaled deeply, a faint smile tugging at her lips.
"This is only the beginning," she murmured.
The bow dissolved moments later, fading back into raw energy. But Cecilia felt the spark of progress—the cheat ability, once frustratingly elusive, was becoming a weapon in its own right.
The Path Forward
By the end of the week, Cecilia's mindset had shifted. The Adventurer Card was no longer just a tool—it was a guide, a reflection of her growth. She had begun to see the potential in her choices, the opportunities to shape her path in this world.
As she sat by her window at the Cozy Mantle, her card resting on the table beside her, Cecilia allowed herself a moment of quiet. She didn't have all the answers, but she knew one thing: she was ready to take the next step.
