Chapter 4 - **Chapter 4: Dunn Returns!**

Dunn was now certain—his sunglasses were truly magical. Hidden within them was a cheat system that allowed him to navigate Hollywood effortlessly!

This was why, despite being an industry outsider, he dared to make bold promises and even compete with James Cameron for the director's chair on *Titanic*.

When he first activated the sunglasses yesterday, he received a beginner's gift pack.

The "Contract Theft" skill had helped him snatch the directing position from Cameron, while "Mirror Possession" was the key to his confidence in filmmaking.

**"Mirror Possession" Skill:**

*Allows the user to transfer any artist's skills onto another person for the duration of a single film production. If a film surpasses $1 billion in global box office revenue, an additional use of "Mirror Possession" will be granted.*

Without hesitation, Dunn selected James Cameron as the skill donor and himself—Dunn Walker—as the recipient.

**"Mirror Possession complete. Throughout the production of *Titanic*, Dunn Walker will possess James Cameron's skills in producing, directing, and acting."**

Dunn stretched his body and shook his head. He felt no physical difference, but he knew his vision and abilities had completely transformed.

The sudden flood of creative thoughts and boundless imagination was astonishing!

He glanced at Cameron's skill stats and couldn't help but be amazed. The man was undoubtedly a world-class director!

Under the "Producer" category, there were over twenty sub-skills, but the five most important were:

- **Production:** 66

- **Market Judgment:** 97

- **Artistic Aesthetics:** (hidden)

- **Project Evaluation:** 70

- **Screenwriting:** 89

A total score of **81**!

The most shocking stat was Market Judgment, an insane **97 points**! Dunn's eyes widened in disbelief. He had spent half the night studying the stats of top directors, but he had never seen anyone exceed **90 points** in a single category.

James Cameron's reputation was well earned!

Then, he checked Cameron's "Director" skills:

- **Cinematography:** 91

- **Story Design:** (hidden)

- **Visual Imagination:** 88

- **Guidance:** 93

- **Camerawork:** 95

A total score of **90**!

Dunn was in complete awe.

Even in less critical areas like art direction, special effects, and storyboard composition, Cameron scored over **90** across the board. He was a bona fide genius.

As for his "Actor" stats? Abysmal. Cameron's performance, emotional range, authenticity, and line delivery were all terrible—not worth mentioning.

But now, Dunn had inherited all of Cameron's directing skills. His confidence was soaring!

---

After a one-day break due to the director switch, the *Titanic* crew was back to work.

When the team heard that their new director was an unknown **18-year-old**, they were in absolute shock. And when they learned that it was Dunn Walker—the guy Cameron had fired—their expressions were priceless.

Kate Winslet, the film's lead actress, and Dunn's friend George Paxton had polar opposite reactions. Kate was filled with anxiety, while George was overjoyed.

The official start time was **8 AM**, but when Dunn arrived at **7:30**, he found the entire crew already assembled.

"Oh, everyone's here already?"

Suppressing his excitement, Dunn put on a friendly smile and waved.

"Good morning, Director!"

"Welcome, Director."

"Director, you're so young…"

A mix of respectful and flattering voices filled the set, creating an awkward yet amusing atmosphere.

"Hey, Dunn… I mean, Director Dunn."

George Paxton, beaming with excitement, rushed over. His eyes sparkled with admiration, anticipation, and a bit of nervous flattery.

His **friend** was now the **director**!

That alone was enough for him to boast to anyone!

Dunn patted his shoulder. "George, nothing's changed. We're still friends."

"Yes, yes! Friends! Haha, we're friends!" George was so thrilled he was nearly stammering.

Dunn nodded. "George, want a new job?"

George's eyes welled up with tears. How could he not understand what Dunn was offering? Overcome with emotion, he choked out, "Yes! Whatever you say!"

Satisfied, Dunn turned to Kate Winslet, who stood to the side with a forced smile, trying but failing to hide her tension and awkwardness.

He said calmly, "Starting today, you're my personal assistant. Not a set assistant—a director's assistant. Your first task: find out exactly what happened that day. I want to know who tried to set me up!"

George's eyes burned with determination. "Of course! Whoever it is, they won't get away with it!"

Dunn smiled and walked over to Leonardo DiCaprio. Looking at his handsome face, he grinned. "Leo, after a day off, how are you feeling?"

Back when Dunn was just a production assistant, he didn't even have the right to stand near Leonardo. But now? He was the director—the **core** of the entire production!

This reversal in status brought a natural sense of superiority.

Leonardo didn't know Dunn personally. He was shocked by how young the new director was but remained professional. Straightening his posture, he replied, "Mr. Walker, I'm ready!"

"Just call me Dunn."

Dunn chuckled and encouraged him. "Keep up the good work. Let's make a great movie."

"Got it, Dunn."

Leonardo's smile relaxed. The new director seemed much friendlier than Cameron. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad—at least he wouldn't be getting yelled at every day.

Then, Dunn turned to Kate Winslet. Giving her a quick once-over, he praised, "Kate, you look beautiful today."

Kate, the most nervous person on set, nearly screamed when Dunn approached her. She quickly composed herself, forced a sweet smile, lifted her skirt slightly, and curtsied like a noblewoman. "Thank you, Director."

Dunn chuckled. "Wow, you're really in character."

Kate's face turned pale. That had been a panicked reflex! She quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Director…"

Dunn waved dismissively. "Being deep in character means you're invested in the role. That's a good thing."

His words sent a cold sweat down Kate's back. She bit her lip, unsure how to win his favor.

That incident… was he still holding a grudge?

Just as Dunn was about to start filming, Jon Landau—Cameron's longtime producing partner—stepped forward.

"Let's give a big welcome to **little** Dunn, returning to the crew! Now, **little** Dunn, say a few words! Let's give him a round of applause!"

Dunn's expression darkened, his sharp gaze locking onto Jon Landau.

**Little** Dunn?

Even his close friend George now respectfully called him "Director," so who did Jon Landau think he was?

It was a clear provocation.

Landau deliberately emphasized "returning to the crew" and "little Dunn" to humiliate him. Forcing Dunn to speak was an even bigger trap—if he did well, it was expected; if he failed, his authority would crumble.

Dunn narrowed his eyes. Was this Landau acting on his own, or had Cameron put him up to it?

Calmly stepping onto the platform, Dunn surveyed the crew and asked, **"Why do you all make movies?"**

Silence.

Then George blurted, **"For art! For belief! For humanity!"**

Dunn shook his head. "That's something you tell Jesus. This is a movie set, not a church."

Laughter erupted.

Landau smirked. "A kid like you won't hold this crowd."

Dunn continued, building momentum, **"You suffer through long hours and hard work—why?"**

"To be stars!" someone yelled.

Dunn grinned, raising a thumbs-up. "Exactly! That's our shared dream!"

He let the excitement build.

**"Tell me, what do we rely on?"**

"MOVIES!"

"LOUDER!"

"MOVIES! MOVIES! MOVIES!"

The set roared with energy. Even Cameron, watching from the sidelines, felt a surge of passion.

Who didn't have a dream?

**Titanic** was everyone's chance to achieve theirs.

Even Cameron's gaze turned complex. **Was this kid really just eighteen?**

Jon Landau, however, scowled, his face dark and brooding. **"Enjoy it while it lasts, kid."**
