Chapter 2 - Chapter Two: The First Dimension

Chapter Two: The First Dimension

Ryan's heart raced as he stepped into the glowing blue portal, surrounded by a strange sensation as if a magnetic force was pulling him into the unknown. The world around him blurred into flashes of colors and lights, and the sounds began to merge and become indistinct. He could hear the whispers of the wind and distant echoes, as if he was falling through an endless tunnel of energy. His body felt weightless, floating in a twisting void where time and space had lost their meaning.

Moments of chaotic movement passed, and he felt as though he was diving into the depth of the universe itself. Suddenly, the movement stopped. He opened his eyes, and before him was a scene like no other. The sky above him shimmered with strange colors, and the horizon was outlined by a faint glow. But the ground he stood on was completely different. It was not an ordinary earth, but one that glowed with bright spots of light, like shards of stars. The rocks were covered with a transparent layer resembling glass, and when he looked down at his feet, it felt as if the ground was breathing under his weight.

He took a step forward, his eyes never leaving the strange scenery in front of him. Suddenly, he felt something strange in his chest, a sensation of power, as if this dimension was sending signals to his body. A window of light appeared before him, resembling a small gateway. It glowed, emitting a mysterious energy, and Ryan felt something calling him through it. There was a sense that this portal was the only way out.

"Welcome to the First Dimension, the new guardian."

The words echoed in his mind in a low voice, not from another person, but as if they came from the void itself. He couldn't help but feel astonished. He didn't know what "First Dimension" meant or how he got here, but he felt that something deep was lurking in this place.

He hesitated for a moment, but his curiosity pushed him forward. As he approached the portal, he felt something touch his mind. The images began to accelerate, and his mind was filled with strange thoughts and doubts. He felt that this was not just an ordinary place, but rather a parallel world holding secrets beyond comprehension.

Then, as if following an ancient system, a set of instructions appeared before him inside another light window:

Guardian of Dimensions System

Available Skills: [Dimension Sensing]

Available Skill: [Open the Portal]

Guardian Level: 1/1000

Instructions:

"To succeed in this dimension, you must first understand the laws of this world. You will face unexpected challenges. Each dimension has its own rules, and the tests you undergo in each dimension will increase your power. You cannot return until you complete your task."

This text gradually faded as Ryan felt something profound within him, as if a heavy burden had been placed on his shoulders. But at the same time, he sensed something else — a strange feeling of increasing power flooding him, as if these instructions were granting him new abilities. He prepared himself to face what would come next.

At that moment, sharp beams of light suddenly erupted from the portal in front of him, and a massive creature emerged. Its shape was unclear, but its presence filled the air, as if the earth itself was breathing through it. Its shadows swirled in the air, as if part of space itself. Ryan sensed that this creature was not an enemy but perhaps one of the beings observing his actions.

The creature spoke in a deep voice, as if emanating from the depths of the earth:

"You are the chosen guardian. You must pass the first trial. You cannot return unless you prove your ability to control this dimension."

Ryan didn't know what this meant, but he felt something strange within him — a feeling of hope and challenge at the same time. He knew there was no turning back now. He had to move forward.

Suddenly, the creature began to merge with space, as if its body was dissolving into the dimensions themselves. As it disappeared, the ground began to shift. The rocks beneath his feet trembled, and strange creatures began to appear. Some resembled massive winged beasts, while others looked like humanoid figures with glowing eyes. The ground he stood on kept changing, and he could sense that this environment was not stable but kept shifting constantly.

The sky was now turning dark red, as if it were boiling in the void. The clouds twisted unnaturally, and glimpses of strange lights appeared from them. There was a sense that everything in this dimension was subject to different laws from those he had known in his world. Even the air felt different; each breath gave him a strange sensation in his chest, as if the air itself was part of the power surrounding him.

Ryan stood still, hesitating, trying to comprehend what was happening. Suddenly, the creatures around him started to move toward him. Some of them emitted cries, while others moved slowly, their eyes fixed on him as if they were watching his every step. He could feel his heart beating faster, but he couldn't retreat.

He heard a voice behind him:

"Be careful, this is not your world. Do not think that the First Dimension is what you see. Everything here is flexible. Every step you take may alter the course of this world."

The words echoed in his ears, as if they were warnings directed at him. Then, another portal appeared before him, much larger than the one he entered through, emitting glowing blue lights. There was a strange feeling filling the air, as if this portal was another trial, but this time, he had to make a choice.

At that moment, Ryan felt a heavy pressure on his chest, as if this dimension wanted to swallow him whole. A sudden headache filled his head, and everything around him became distorted by the glowing lights swirling around him at an accelerating pace. But he refused to give in to this sensation and pulled himself toward the blue portal.

As he neared it, a new beam of light opened before him, and from behind it, another creature appeared, much larger than any creature he had seen before. Its features were shrouded in mystery, and its eyes, glowing like fire, carried with them a deep secret. There was no doubt that this was a new stage in the trials of this dimension.

"Welcome to the First Dimension, Guardian. The trial is not over yet."

The words echoed from all around him, as if coming from every corner of the dimension. Ryan felt that the true challenge had begun, and he had to be ready for whatever would come next.
