Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Konan, Feeding the Tiger with Her Own Body

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, are you kidding?

Doujin Artist: Getting close to Aizen? That's crazy!

Amegakure Village's Angel: I want to know why. Why would we choose to approach Aizen?

This is an Actor: Obviously, for your and Nagato's safety.

Doujin Artist: ?

Amegakure Village's Angel: Can you explain it more clearly?

This is an Actor: Why did Aizen join the Akatsuki? Is it because someone here interests him, or is he after something? And what exactly could that be?

Curly-haired Guy: The Rinnegan?!

This is an Actor: That's one possibility. We can't rule it out, right?

But in reality, Aizen didn't join the Akatsuki for the Rinnegan. He had already learned about those eyes from the original Naruto storyline, and he wasn't interested in them at all. The only reason he chose to join was to assign roles to the Akatsuki members according to the script he had planned for the future.

But now, with Konan's unexpected presence, the original script might no longer work. Things were getting a lot more interesting.

Doujin Artist: Maybe Konan should just talk to Nagato and hand over the Rinnegan to Aizen? That might even spark a conflict between Aizen, Black Zetsu, and Obito.

Amegakure Village's Angel: Impossible. I can't even explain this to Nagato properly, so how could I convince him to give up the Rinnegan? Besides, what if Aizen's goal isn't the Rinnegan?

Curly-haired Guy: Ugh, this is so frustrating!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: Anzen, why did you say that getting close to Aizen would keep Konan safe?

This is an Actor: Aizen has a very complex personality, but there are certain things he can't hide—like his love for interesting situations and his extreme curiosity. When someone approaches him, he becomes intrigued and tries to figure out their intentions and plans. Because of that, for now, it should be absolutely safe.

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: Anzen, isn't that just your assumption?

This is an Actor: This isn't a guess—it's an analysis.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey, hey, you can even analyze anime characters' psychology?

This is an Actor: Whether it's anime, novels, or TV shows, the characters created by the author always follow some kind of pattern. Of course, this doesn't apply to purely comedic characters.

Doujin Artist: Should be safe? So, you're saying there's still some risk?

This is an Actor: Yes. After all, the Aizen we know exists in the Bleach world. But if we miss this chance, Konan might end up in an even more dangerous situation.

Doujin Artist: What do you mean?

This is an Actor: Take another good look at the photo Konan took. Look closely.

Doujin Artist: The photo… what about it?

Eriri, feeling a bit confused, opened the photo Konan sent earlier again. The person in the picture had slightly wavy brown hair, a gentle but somewhat youthful face, black-framed glasses on the bridge of his nose, and a bright, cheerful smile directed at the camera.

There was no denying it—though Aizen was a manipulative villain, he was undeniably attractive. Especially that gaze, soft yet carrying a hint of dominance, as if it could see right through someone.

Wait… that gaze?!

Eriri suddenly realized something was off. This photo was clearly taken in secret by Konan, right? Then why did it seem like Aizen's eyes were looking directly at the camera?

At that moment, Eriri felt a chill run down her spine. And she wasn't the only one in the group who felt that way.

Curly-haired Guy: Hey! Why do I feel like this guy is looking right at me?! He's definitely looking at me, right?! This photo… it's not cursed or something, is it?!

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: Feels like he knew someone was taking his picture.

Doujin Artist: No way, right? Even if it's Aizen, there's no way he could know about our chat group.

This is an Actor: Maybe he didn't notice the chat group itself, but he did notice something strange about Konan.

Doujin Artist: That's way too sharp! This Aizen… he feels even scarier than the one in Bleach!

That was inevitable.

The Aizen here wasn't just a time traveler—he was also a member of the chat group. On top of that, he was a master of psychological manipulation and analysis. If he wasn't stronger than his original version, he might as well just give up.

This is an Actor: Don't panic. It's just a photo. But from this, we can tell that Aizen has already taken an interest in Konan's behavior. Now, there are only two choices—take the initiative or be forced into it.

Doujin Artist: It's all my fault! If Gin-san and I hadn't asked Konan for the photo…

Amegakure Village's Angel: No, it's not your fault. Since he chose to join Akatsuki, escaping was never an option. I'll inform Pain. From now on, I'll be in the same team as Aizen.

Doujin Artist: Sigh.

Curly-haired Guy: Konan, isn't this basically feeding yourself to the enemy?

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: That's called "offering yourself to the tiger." Read more books. Anzen, are you sure Konan will be safe?

This is an Actor: This is the best option for now.

After sending the message, Aizen lifted his gaze, looking at Konan, who was currently talking with Pain about something. Pain hesitated for a moment before nodding slightly.

Doujin Artist: In the end, it's because we're too weak. We don't even have a chance to fight back.

Curly-haired Guy: Damn it! If only we could travel between worlds right now! But we need to level up the group to 1 first!

A level 1 group needs 50,000 points to level up, and right now, the only way to earn points is by sending messages. Each message gives 2 points, but the entire group's total points haven't even reached 10,000 yet.

Points seem to have many uses, but for now, they can only be spent on buying abilities uploaded by group members.

Aizen opened the ability list and glanced over it. The pricing was interesting—apparently set based on the power level and usefulness of each ability.

For example, Konan's Paper Release Kekkei Genkai was priced at 200 points, while having chakra at Kage level cost 500 points.

Logically, Kekkei Genkai should be more valuable than chakra, yet chakra was priced higher—double the amount, even. The reason was simple: Kekkei Genkai wasn't practical for most people. If an ordinary person without chakra got it, it would be completely useless.

Just as Aizen was thinking about this, the Akatsuki meeting came to an end.

Konan forced herself to stay calm and walked up to Aizen, keeping a cold demeanor. "Let's go."

Aizen didn't mind her distant attitude. In a gentle voice, he suggested, "Since we're teammates now, shouldn't we drop the codenames and call each other something more natural? Like… Konan-senpai?"

"Do whatever you want." After a brief silence, Konan responded flatly.

"I see." Aizen nodded slightly, looking directly at her. "Then it should be fine if I call myself Captain Aizen, right?"
