The next day, Cramton was woken up by strange voices in his head. It had similarities in sound to what he had heard the previous day.
"What is this?" Cramton asked in a loud voice, "and why can't I understand?"
In that instance, he heard a sweet mechanical sound then, "User identified. Cramton Kriste. Authorization in progress." He finally could understand the voice, but he was bewildered by the message. He could not comprehend what it meant. It then dawned on him that his name had been mentioned with a second name.
"Since when am I called Cramton Kriste?" he asked himself.
In Venar, only the nobles and the respected kind of the different races had a second name. It showed the noble's status in society. In the case of nobles, it may represent their family names which helped in identifying distant family members.
But for Cramton, he was only but a humble farmer in a remote village with tremendous love for his family and farming. Unfortunately, his family was murdered, which left him a sorry state. Now hearing himself being called with a second left him bewildered.
"Am I a noble? Did I have achievements I did not know of?" several of these questions raced through his mind after he heard himself being called with a second name, but he discarded them as wishful thinking and his imagination. He continued with his normal duties for the rest of the day then later retired to bed having completely forgotten about what had transpired earlier that day.
He woke up the next day feeling fresh and energized ready for the day. He did his morning routine of running through the forest then went hunting. Due to his immense speed, he found a prey in less than fifteen minutes in the vast forest. He used the tip of his self-made spear to perform a quick slash to give the prey a quick painless.
"Well, that was easy," he said to himself.
He then went and gathered firewood and lit up a fire. He set up tools so that he could roast the game.
"I am feeling hungrier today. What is going on with my body?" he noted.
"Can't wait to taste this meat. It looks juicer than the normal ones," he said while turning the meat over the fire so that it could roast easily.
"And I'll add the spices just…about…now," Cramton said while adding spices to the almost ready meat.
He then returned the meat to the fire for a minute the removed it. He ate it in a quick but elegant manner.
"I miss farming. Maybe I should create a farm in this jungle. This way, I will have a variety of foods to choose from. Eating meat and wild fruits only is tiring me," he said aloud.
"Ah! Why do I always talk aloud to myself? Is it because I am lonely…? Maybe. Does it really help?" he asked himself.
He had only realized this recently. He could not remember when he had started to talk aloud to himself. He was quite sure he didn't have this behavior while his family was still alive.
Just then, a screen appeared in front of his face and he heard the same robotic voice in his head.

" Fuck! Am I really that weak? And since when am I not human," Cramton wondered.
" I can't believe I can control elements. Does that mean I am now part of the Blessed [1]who can manipulate elements."
"Wait, what is this? I can't believe i fell for a Blessed's trick. How accurate is it?" While looking around," There has to be a Blessed around here somewhere pulling the strings."
"It isn't a trick you know. You have indeed been granted a system," a masculine voice said in his head.
"Who are you? How can you speak in my head. Is this a new ability?" Cramton shouted. He was freaked out. well, it was expected since he had never witnessed anything of such magnitude.
"Woah, woah, woah. Chill out man. First, I have no name, well, I just can't remember, so for that you have the liberty to choose a name for me. this will help in building trust between us for we're gonna be together for a long time," the voice in Cramton's head said in a calm voice.
This news came as a shock to Cramton and he could only react the only way he knew, "Together for a while my ass! I don't want some freaking voice talking continuously in my head."
"Well you see, I can't get out no matter if want or not. I'm bound to your soul and mind young man."
"AARGH...Then what use do I have for you?" Cramton asked. He felt a headache coming in just thinking about it.
"Eeh... I can talk to you. You seem lonely at the moment for I can't locate a living person, no, a living soul within a 100 meter radius," the voice pointed out.
"You gat a point there."
Besides , according to your stats, you are weak. I can help you with that," the voice offered.
"How? It's not like you are gonna give me powers and make me comprehend the elements," Cramton said. He felt kind of angry at the voice for outright pointing out his weakness.
"Well, I can actually help you out on the physical training for you will need a stronger constitution that will be able to host large amounts of mana. I can also help you out when choosing materials in future. How about that? Eh?"
"Hmmm" while rubbing his chin, "yeah, that can work."
"Good."
"Now what if I call you 'Mefter,'" asked Cramton after pondering for a while.
"It isn't bad. I like it," said the voice with an obvious excited voice.
With all that had happened, Cramton decided that it would be best he headed to his makeshift home to think and digest all that had happened that day. He also asked Mefter to keep watch over him since he had earlier realized that he could pinpoint living beings within a 100-metre radius.
"Don't worry, Cramton. I will inform you of anything that might pose to be dangerous to you," Mefter assured Cramton.
"Thanks," Cramton said clearly pleased.
