Leilani felt dizzy and passed out. When she woke up she found herself self in a house not known to her. She saw a man coming to her with a cup. "Here have some jasmine tea," the man said, "You have slept for two days straight little girl, now tell me, where are you from?" the man added.
Obviously Leilani couldn't tell her that a goddess transmigrated her from another universe, she would sound crazy. The only option was for her to lie
"I am from...."
"It seems you're human," the man cut her short.
Leilani wondered why the man dropped a weird comment. After seeing him carefully the man had bunny ears. She was terrified at first but she calmed herself down.
The man told her that he found her when he went to chop some firewood lying down and since she was little he decided to take her in. The man asked of her parents.
"They died, about a year ago," Leilani answered
"I'm sorry, how about becoming my adoptive daughter, you can call me by my name, Lysander Reid nice to meet you," he said this while holding out his hand gesturing a handshake.
After a month staying with Lysander, she found out that this world is made up of beast-humans, elves, humans and other mystical creatures. She also found out that there are beasts which are hunted by hunters. She also finds out that her adoptive father was a hunter. In the world he is in every one is born with a skill. Her adoptive father was pure strength. That would explain his huge muscles and his scarred body. In that world the strength of the hunter is determined by the strength of the beast they have killed.
"Reid, I was wondering what is your rank, " Leilani asked.
"Well your old man's rank is an S rank," Reid said this while sounding a little proud, "how about you come and help me chop some firewood while I tell you my adventures.
Leilani learnt from him of how he had killed countless of goblins and bears with his shear strength and how he killed two demon possessed wolves by himself. That got him the S rank position.
