PROLOGUE

Prologue

In a world divided by power and blood, six realms stood under the rule of six kings.

The Aquarium was home to mermaids, mermen, and the creatures of the deep. Ruled by King Vixen, it was a kingdom beneath the sea, as mysterious as it was majestic.

The Mystic Kingdom, ruled by King Aaron, housed magical beings—fairies, elves, dwarves, and magicians—creatures born of spells and ancient lore.

The Lynx Kingdom, led by King Richard, belonged to the lycanthropes—beings of primal instinct and brute force.

The Kingdom of Asheville, the land of humans, was governed by King Charles, a ruler of diplomacy and order.

The Winx, a kingdom feared for its relentless werewolves, was under the iron fist of King Lucien—a power-hungry monarch with a thirst for domination.

And then there was Avalon—the supreme kingdom, feared and revered by all. It was the domain of demons, ruled by the ruthless King Eldron. But it wasn't the king who haunted the whispers of the realms—it was his youngest son, Prince Damiel.

Illegitimate. Unloved. Unmatched.

Damiel was the son of a commoner and King Eldron, making him the stepchild of Queen Gianna and the youngest brother to Princes Xavier and Zaire. Unlike his brothers, Damiel grew up without affection. His mother vanished after his birth, and his father despised him for reasons no one fully understood. Still, Damiel rose—fierce, brutal, and unstoppable.

By seven, he had mastered every known form of combat. At eight, he returned victorious from his first war. By ten, he was the youngest general in history. He never lost. They called him the God of War. Others whispered a darker name—the Devil's Incarnate.

With silver hair said to be forged from the ashes of hell, piercing silver eyes, and a face sculpted with unearthly beauty, Damiel was the most feared and desired being in all six realms. Power coursed through him like fire through dry grass.

And yet, fate had other plans.

Reyna, an orphan girl known for her kindness, honesty, and beauty, was Avalon's hidden gem. With flowing black hair, ocean-blue eyes, and skin like glass, she turned heads wherever she went. But cruelty found her. Sold into the black market by her own stepmother and stepsisters, Reyna's world darkened.

Until she landed in the hands of Prince Damiel.

Was she his salvation? Or the spark that would ignite his inferno?

Why did King Eldron truly hate his own son?

Did Damiel's mother really flee in fear, or is there a secret buried deep within her disappearance?

And above all—what destiny awaits when the light meets the darkness?.
