The mines consisted of three floors. The pits, where the more important minerals could be mined out of, were at the third floor, which was also considered the deepest point of the mine. Only reputable miners went there, and half of them weren't even slaves.
The second floor was where Winston, and his group had been mining at, and this floor was considered the most complex one, on the count of the many tunnels that were dug open in order to extract as much iron as possible. In other words, it was a bit like a labyrinth, so complex in fact that even the miners with decent experience could be lost in it.
Winston was initially confident that he knew his way out of the mines, however, at some point along the way, he had to lead the team deeper into the tunnels, because they spotted a group of ten guards! Him and his partner in crime couldn't afford to exchange fire with this bundle of guards, because there was a good chance that they would be shot dead in the exchange of fire.
They didn't risk it, even though they had the element of surprise to their side. They knew that even if they attacked the guards first, they'd still lose. It was best to avoid them.
Inevitably, Winston and his group ended up being lost within the many tunnels of the second floor, and the situation was so bad that not even the guards could find them! Tens of guards were running around, searching where the gunshots came from, but the odds of the two parties running into one another became more and more slim.
"We're lost," He pointed out the obvious. "Does anyone know the quickest way out?"
Everyone was looking at George after he asked that, as he was the elder, but his memory failed him. He was a couple years away from dying of old age, so naturally, his brain didn't work as well as it used to.
"I was following you, Winston." George answered. "I thought you knew the way."
"Well, shit." He sighed. "We're lost, then?"
Being lost on the second floor wasn't a big problem for now. They were far away from danger, however, they also knew that if they got stuck here for more than twenty minutes, then the guards would have all the time that they needed to prepare themselves for a proper counter-attack. Every floor of the mines would be absolutely infested with Bubonic Starfish guards!
The group could only hope for the best. They walked through one tunnel after the other, aimlessly, for about ten minutes, and they hadn't gotten any closer to escaping these mines that they hated so deeply.
"Keep your guns up," He urged everyone. "I know you haven't had the chance to use them yet, you need practice, but the fact of the matter is that we don't know what's around the corner. We could get gunned down in a snap, just like that!"
"Alright," A couple of them nodded.
The group kept walking, and eventually, they ran into some starfish. The group had their finger on the trigger, and were ready to shoot, but luckily their eyesight had adapted to the darkness surrounding them, due to their daily working conditions, so they refrained from blasting through the people in front of them, people who happened to be Worker Starfish as well.
"Nice," Winston complimented his group. "I'm happy to see that you're ready to shoot those red bastards down!"
Afterwards, he turned to the other workers, and said, "Sorry about that, lads. Can you tell me where we are?"
"Tunnel twenty-seven," A worker said nervously. "Are you gonna kill us?"
"No, we're busting out." He answered. "Care to join us? There's strength in numbers."
The four workers they ran into, simply nodded in response. He could see it in their eyes that they were sick of working here as well, and he liked that fact, because he knew that they were equally as willing to fight, just like the rest of his group was.
Winston flicked his left wrist, and equipped all four of them with the 9mm Starfish Destroyer. It only took a moment to equip them.

"Slap the magazine, load it, and pull the safety lever down." He guided them. "We're gonna do some serious shooting today!"
The workers were astounded when the pistols popped up in their hands, though they did not question his magical abilities. They kept quiet, and led the way, because unlike Winston, they knew which tunnel they were working at, and so, they also knew the way out.
The new 'recruits' led the way, and as soon as they made it to the main route of the second floor, the new recruits started gunning guards down! They killed five of them as they used the element of surprise to their advantage, and then they started shooting at some other guards that were a meter away, down the main route!
George, and the people closest to him also started shooting at those guards, and so, they gunned down ten more of them! There truly was strength in unity, as Winston couldn't have ever killed all of them himself!
From the bundle of guards, he only managed to kill one of them himself. He shot three bullets to kill just one of them. He had been less than efficient in this particular shooting, but he didn't care as he didn't have to perform alone anymore.

[Congratulations! Your friends killed 14 Bubonic Starfish on your behalf, so you get half of the points that you would've originally gotten, if you killed the starfish yourself.]
"That's nice," He thought. "Eighty points means that I can equip eight more starfish to fight for me. This escape plan is looking better already, hahaha!"
Anyway, after the group of ten Worker Starfish were done gunning everyone down, they ran up the main route of the second floor afterwards, and made it to the first floor. They were a few more bullets away from escaping the mines for good!
At the first floor, however, they ran into a bit of a predicament. This place didn't have a lot of workers, but it did have a lot of guards, who apparently were on their lunch break while absolute havoc rained across the second floor.
Winston counted at least thirty guards, and so he got quite nervous. At this point, he understood that the group didn't have any more time to waste, so they started blasting!
