Sebastian lowered his eyes to her cute biting lips and freed them from her teeth tracing her lower lip with his thumb. He wanted to kiss her again but was pushed by her making him stumble because of the sudden impact.
"What are you doing?" shouted Zara rubbing her lips.
She walked past him and hid behind Paula holding the back of her dress tightly. Paula recovered from her shock and protected Zara behind her.
"Sebastian Wild, we are here to talk, you better behave"
She warned Sebastian and patted Zara's hand which is holding her dress. Zara can be weak in front of Sebastian but she isn't like her not when it concerns her baby.
"Ms. Adams, I am glad you had her back but you can let your guard down when you are with me"
Sebastian spoke staring at Zara who hid her small frame behind her friend. Paula is taller and a bit thinner than Zara. She protected her like a mother.
"How can I when you are threatening her?" talked back Paula sitting on the middle of the sofa. There are two sofas each of capacity three people in the chamber parted by a dining table. Zara sat beside Paula scratching the armrest anxiously.
She was still recovering from the hot kiss and tried her best to get hold of herself. Did he really kiss her? No greeting, not asking about her well being, straight to kiss.
She licked her lips feeling them numb from the kiss. This kiss reminded her of all the memories she buried deep in her heart. He is making her weak again.
She shouldn't be vulnerable like last time. She should make her stand strong and confront him about his crazy actions.
"You should blame your stubborn friend. She disturbed my peaceful life, how can I let her go?"
Sebastian walking towards Zara and sat on the armrest taking her hand into his. Zara totally forgot about fourth person in the room and concentrated on Sebastian.
She gasped and glanced at their entangled fingers. She felt the same feeling again. She felt butterflies in her tummy with his gestures. She raised her head to see his dark eyes looking at her deeply.
Paula and Simon looked at their behaviour and lowered their heads. Sebastian was intimidating Zara and poor girl was totally in mess because of him.
"You both came to consensus and parted willingly. Now you shouldn't disturb her peaceful life"
Paula broke the silence folding her hands. Zara lowered her head breaking their eye contact. Sebastian's grip tightened when he heard her words.
"Will you let her go, if I asked you to?"
Sebastian questioned staring at Paula and she laughed mockingly.
"You kidding me, why would I let my best friend go?"
"Why won't you? She is just a girl. You can find another best friend who is better than her"
Sebastian played with Zara's fingers and kissed them brushing his lips on her knuckles. Zara wanted to take back her hand but he held it tightly.
"No one is better than her. She is my baby. My best friend. I can never find someone like her in this entire world"
Paula was pissed and shouted angrily glaring at Sebastian. He smiled lifting Zara's chin to look into her eyes
"You are right Ms. Adams. No one is better than her. No one made me crazy like she did. No one captured my soul like she did with her sparkle eyes. No one made me vulnerable like she did with her touch"
Paula didn't know how to counter attack him with her words. This is the best confession she ever heard. Forget about Zara she fell for his words right then and there. If Zara is from another family she would encourage Zara to accept Sebastian but she knew about her family.
Zara's eyes turned red and held his hand which is now on her cheek
"I can't be with you, please don't do this to me"
Her voice trembled with each word. She couldn't hear anymore of his words because she'll lose herself. She was already feeling devastated to reject him.
She loved him for many years and here he is asking her to be with him but she couldn't because of her family. Paula felt sad for Zara, she can understand how much effort Zara put in rejecting him.
"Why?"
Sebastian rested his forehead on hers. He was dying to be with her and would do anything to get her back. He only needs her assurance. Why is she so against them?
Zara closed her eyes letting her tears fall. She can't do this anymore. If he asked her to be with him again maybe she'll say yes then she'll lose her family which she regrets.
"We have no future, we don't work"
"Let me talk to your parents"
Sebastian wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.
Zara shook her head vigorously. No way, she would never allow him to meet her dad. Not even in her dreams.
"I would rather die than tell them about us. My dad would kill me with his own hands if he knew about our past"
Sebastian took a deep breath closing his eyes. He was trying to control his temper. Why is she not giving them a chance?
"Let's end this now"
Zara held his hands hoping to put an end to their entanglement. A part of her wanted him to nod his head but another part, most part of her didn't want him to agree.
She's such a selfish bitch. It's her who is pushing him away but wanted him to come to her again. Her heart is bleeding, fighting back her feelings.
Sebastian glared at her gritting his teeth without answering.
"Do you love me?"
Sebastian's eyes gave off a surprised look at her question. Did he love her? All he knew is he can't live without her in his life. Does that mean he love her? He is not sure about his feelings for her but he need her like she is the oxygen for his life.
She is haunting him everywhere. Her eyes, smile and her touch touched the deepest part of his soul. He can never live without her and her sparkles.
