Chapter 4: The Mirror's Domain

Twilight Veil Principality, Indigo Crane River System, Shadow Mist Floating Land

Yunhai City, Willow Haven Orphanage

"Attribute panel? Nether energy?"

"Did awakening the Fire Seed spark this change?"

"This Eidolon Mirror—a Star Sea Rare Item, growth-type, unknown to me. Its name alone whispers power."

Thoughts churned in James Hemsworth's mind, a flicker of insight igniting. He focused, drawing his sparse nether energy into his right palm, then channeled it into the silver disc he clutched.

Reality twisted.

A fierce suction seized him. James stiffened, but before he could pull back, dizziness slammed into him. Fighting nausea, he forced his eyes open, scanning his surroundings with caution.

No threats met his gaze, so he eased slightly, though his guard remained firm. This wasn't his dorm—it was somewhere foreign.

As the sickness faded, James tightened his grip on the warm Eidolon Mirror. A message surged into his mind:

---

[Name: Eidolon Mirror Shard]

[Owner: James Hemsworth]

[Level: Lv0]

[Domain: 20m x 20m Void Shard]

[Rooms: Creation Chamber (non-psionic crafting), Wonder Forge (replicates white wonders), Talent Vault (extracts and transfers talents), 3 Utility Rooms]

[Characteristics: 1. Replicate any matter; 2. Replicate white Star Sea wonders]

[Upgrade Requirements: 10 strands of floating land source (zero level), 100 nether energy points]

[Note: A Fairyland Civilization relic, its rooms grow with its master's strength.]

---

Digesting the data, James's eyes flared with excitement.

Beyond the shard's faint psionic veil raged a black void, distant storms shredding space. His scalp prickled—only high-level fireships could do that. Yet here, it was mundane.

Then he grasped the truth: this was a Fairyland Civilization shard, adrift in the void's cracks, its rooms enduring eons. As its owner leveled up, their power would swell—Lv0–10 for white wonders, Lv11–20 for blue, Lv21–30 for purple, Lv31–40 for red, and beyond.

He explored the 20-meter square domain. Five rooms lined a cramped hall: a Creation Chamber for crafting, a Wonder Forge for white wonders, a Talent Vault for talents, and two dim, unused spaces.

Focusing on the Mirror, new panels emerged:

---

[Creation Chamber]

[Level: Lv0]

[Effect: Crafts non-psionic items from raw materials]

[Limit: Basic items (Lv0–10); capacity grows with owner's level]

[Note: Fairyland ingenuity, unbound by psionic rules]

[Wonder Forge]

[Level: Lv0]

[Effect: Replicates white Star Sea wonders, 24-hour cooldown]

[Limit: White only (Lv0–10); blue at Lv11–20, purple at Lv21–30, red at Lv31–40]

[Note: A forge of echoes, scaling with its master]

[Talent Vault]

[Level: Lv0]

[Effect: Extracts talents, transfers to a unit, 48-hour cycle]

[Limit: White-tier max (Lv0–10); scales with owner's level]

[Note: Rewrites fates, bound by growth]

---

James's heart raced. At Lv0, the Forge could copy his Fire Sun Terracotta Tree. The Vault could steal and grant white talents. The Chamber offered tools beyond psionic limits. As he grew, blue, purple, even red wonders would unlock—limitless potential.

Here, he was lord—untouchable, unless a higher-level foe breached it.

He itched to test it. Should he replicate the Terracotta Tree? Extract a talent? Craft a blade?

But tomorrow's exploration loomed. Exhaustion now could doom him.

Pocketing the Mirror, its hum a vow, he held back.

His ascent would wait...
