Noel pulled out his sword. He looked at Liana standing there, exhausted and shocked. The goblin decomposed and left behind its crystal, and he picked it up.
He walked toward her and handed it to her. She glanced at the crystal, and her gaze turned cold. "You killed it, it belongs to you," she said.
"You fought it to a weakened state," he argued. She saw that he was about to go back and forth about taking it from him, so she opted for a quick solution to the issue.
"Hand it to them," she said and pointed to the other two here.
"Aren't they with you?" he asked.
"No, I met them after fighting in a boss room and killing the monster. That was why I was weak when I fought this one," she said.
"I see," Noel responded. He took the crystal and handed it to the girl. The first was reluctant to take it, but he assured her.
"Take it, seriously," he said. She looked at him with an uncertain gaze, but she knew how much she needed that crystal, and so she took it and left along with the boy.
