Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Gree saw the gold coins that Rey took out, and his greed showed on his face.

He never imagined that Rey could easily take out so much money.

After a business deal, even he can only get a little profit.

His expenses were not small, and his family's savings were only a gold coin, which he treasured like a treasure.

The guard next to him and Kai were also jealous, but Kai hated Rey more.

He thought that the money in Rey's hand was obtained at the expense of many lives.

Although the facts are a little different, they are correct.

Rey spread his hands in front of Gree. He was a little embarrassed and said, "I went out in a hurry today, so I only brought these ten. How many do you want?"

Gree swallowed and finally suppressed the urge to reach out and grab it.

This was the first time he knew that Rey was stupid and had a lot of money. Fortunately, the relationship was not strained.

Gree has to pretend not to care so that he can get more benefits.

He looked at Rey with sincerity in his eyes, "Brother, I didn't expect you to be so generous, but I'm being unkind."

Rey smiled so happily that he couldn't be happier. "I've already told you everything. What's the relationship between us?"

"I didn't care at all about what happened before."

He answered calmly while picking up the grapes.

Seeing Rey's appearance, Gree couldn't bear it, but in the end, greed prevailed.

"From today on, I will treat you as a real brother."

"As for the money, I'm really not living a good life now, so I took it all away."

After saying that, Gree felt a little sorry again. "If you need help with anything, just come to me."

Rey handed him the money, and Gree pretended to be calm and accepted it. Then he stood up and started the formal transaction, handing out a piece of parchment.

It was a golden contract with only one name written on it – Emily Carvin.

This is probably the so-called rare product, a slave subdued by such an advanced contract method.

Rey shed blood to establish a contract and vaguely sensed that he had established a connection with someone.

Gree specifically explained to him, "I won't hide it from you. The slave named Emily is said to be a noble of the small country that was captured a few months ago, but the details are not clear."

"We are all just helping to carry the goods. The person who really wants her is someone we can't afford to offend."

"Even if you have any ideas, please don't touch that slave."

Rey showed a look that any man would understand: "Since that one can't move, can we leave two here for our brothers to relieve their boredom?"

Gree followed his gaze and saw the two female slaves beside him.

If someone dared to ask for his things like this, he would never allow it, but this person was Rey.

Gree smiled and said, "Since you are interested in this, of course I will not deny it to you as a brother. I have lifted the restriction now. You can just take it."

Rey recorded his magic power without hesitation.

In this way, the lives of these two people no longer belong to Gree.

He asked casually, "Gree, the only thing that can control the contract named Emily is the thing on this piece of paper, right?"

"Of course."

After getting a satisfactory answer, Rey opened his hands as if to give Gree a hug. The latter hesitated for a moment and then hugged him.

The two of them smiled and approached. Just when Gree was about to say something, his pupils suddenly tightened.

Rey didn't hug him but instead had a knife in his hand and plunged it directly into his chest.

"Sorry, I'm not naive."

Kai, who didn't want to see the two of them building up their feelings, suddenly heard strange noises. When he looked back, he saw a scene he couldn't believe.

Rey stabbed the knife into Gree's heart calmly.

Gree coughed up a large mouthful of blood. "You..."

Rey took over his words, "You don't really think I'm a fool, do you? You can't cover up things in your territory, so you come to my territory to cause trouble."

"You're trying to avoid the limelight, but you're still looking for trouble. You even asked me for money. What's our relationship? Do we know each other well?"

When he finished speaking, the guard beside him immediately reacted, "What are you doing?"

The two female slaves shrank aside with panicked eyes.

When Kai was hesitating, Rey said, "What are you doing standing there in a daze? Haven't you already wanted to take action?"

The former's body stiffened for a moment, and then he smoothly drew his sword to prevent the guards from approaching.

He didn't know what Rey was going to do. Although the current development was bad, he didn't hate it.

Gree held his breath while Rey was about to pull out the knife.

He immediately panicked, with fear in his eyes, "No... don't."

Rey also kindly explained, "I'm sorry, this is the only thing someone left me, and I can't give it to you."

He pulled out the knife, blood splattered everywhere, and Gree's eyes suddenly darkened.

Rey glanced at the blood-stained knife, felt a little disgusted, and threw it to Gree, who fell to the ground.

"Forget it; I'll give it to you."

He turned to Kai, "It's already like this; why are you still holding on? Those two are not good people either."

Kai clenched the sword in his hand and said in his heart, "The same goes for you," and then took action with all his strength, venting his anger on the two of them, and quickly defeated each other in a dozen moves.

After it was over, he looked at that hateful face and asked, "Why?"

Rey was taking out his own money from Gree and even searched for it and got a silver coin and several copper coins.

"Bah, so poor."

Then found Kai asking himself.

"Huh? Didn't I say I'm really not naive?"

Kai didn't understand what Rey said and felt that he was just perfunctory with him.

He thought he had already seen clearly that Rey was a greedy, lustful, treacherous villain, and he was definitely the worst kind of person.

Not long ago, I had such a good chat with Gree, who despises life, and even called him brother-in-law.

Now kill him.

It's simply incomprehensible.

Kai was used to forcibly suppressing his emotions. He asked a question in another direction, "You killed him and broke the rules. What will you do next? The South District will definitely come after you."

"There is a master there who can release magic power. Have you thought of a solution?"

Rey didn't seem to listen to what he said. He walked to the two fallen guards and found the keys from them. "What can we do? We'll talk about it when they come."

Kai frowned, looking at Rey who was not in a hurry, feeling like a fool.

"Ah, by the way, help me take care of the room; at least let the matter be discovered later."

After speaking, Rey went to unlock the door.

Kai knew he wouldn't make it clear to him, so he went to pick up the body.

Seeing the two helpless female slaves, a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.

It is said that the slave collar will bind the slave's and the master's lives together, so if this is true.

Could it be that Rey acted out this drama on purpose to make Gree lower her guard?

And he ate grapes to test Gree's alertness?

It can't be... right.

Kai couldn't calm down in his heart. He subconsciously said something to Rey's back. It was the truest thought that he could not have said.

"There will be no good end for the perpetrators, and neither will you..."

The figure who opened the lock seemed to pause for a moment.

"So, Rey really deserves to die."

Kai could never understand Rey's answer
