In the vast pacific ocean, a cruise was sailing brightly, the people in it were either on a business transaction, honeymoon, to runaway from everything and anything. Or a simple vacation.
It was the latter for Killian Lei Blackwood. A tall, well built, successful man and a CEO of his own business in his 28 year old life.
Now, the question was... Did he want this vacation?
Terribly no.
His father practically dragged him into this mess so he could take a rest. Fearing that his son would die the next second.
Also, if Killian had spent one more day running on strong, black coffee with no sugar after pulling several all-weekers rather than all-nighters. His father would literally drop dead with worry.
"People with high blood pressure are troublesome." Killian muttered as he takes a long puff of his branded cigarette.
His brown straight hair were pushed back neatly, a suit against his pale skin. Making him look elegant and desirable to the eyes of both women and men.
He looks up at the starry night, counting the stars one by one to calm his head. Unnecessary thoughts surged through his mind without wanting them, and he hated that.
Such a simple act, but to someone else's point of view. At that very moment, Killian was breathtaking.
After counting almost every star in the sky, he became slightly agitated. Just as he want about to throw away his half finished cigarette in the trash, a big, calloused hand with a strong grip held onto his wrist.
Killian calmly turned his head to look at the person. That man's face was hard to identify because of his hat. He was huge and tall, his red eyes were gleaming as it looked intently unto him, like a beast's.
'A lion.' Killian thought.
"Let go." Killian says coldly. His green eyes glinting under the moonlight.
"Mm... You're prettier up close..." The mysterious man said, a psychopathic smile appearing on his face.
Killian freezed. Smart enough to know that the person in front of him wasn't normal. Like him. Because a normal person would feel scared, nervous or anything other than the relief he feels right now.
Although he did feel troubled. Because this man right here could ruin the perfect life he has and want. But relief overlapped that emotion. And with every passing second? A twisted obsession he held back his whole life seemed to take root.
"What's your name?" Killian asks to the man. Staring at his eyes unwaveringly, but made sure to keep his stoicism.
The man smirks, leaning closer till their faces were an inch apart. "Maximo. And I want you." He says in a desperate, creepy tone. "My sweetie..."
Killian didn't react to that. "I'm Killian Lei Blackwood." He says, trying to hide how his heart was racing 20 miles per minute.
Maximo smiled wider as he takes off his hat. His perfect row of white teeth showing.
"I already knew that, sweetie."
Killian didn't know what asking and knowing this man's name would lead to.
And Maximo didn't know that this moment would have made his life both worse than ever and better than could be.
Both men acted on the feeling that stirred from deep within, something that they can't quite identify and it made them curious. And that curiousity was doomed to be fulfilled.
